Bought a new home in 2017, the first summer the brand new AC unit couldnt keep the house below 88 degrees. After contacting Factory Direct multiple times, they sent James Burke the installer of the HVAC system out. He told us the unit needed a little coolant but was running fine. I said then why is it still 88 degrees in the house? He actually said that we should expect the AC unit to cool 10 degrees cooler than the air outside. So we have been running a brand new AC unit and 3 window units for years now, just to be able to keep the house at 78 durning the hottest part of summer. I contacted him again last year and he decided to tell me that maybe the home wasnt insulated as it should have been and that Factory Direct is involved in lawsuits because of this. I just really would like someone to explain why this home cannot keep cool with all the money we invested in it and 3 additional window units. Every time I called i was brushed off or given another excuse.

Long story short we had our home delivered in December 2021 and the punchlist was never completed. This is typically completed by 30 days after the home is delivered. We have lots of issues with our home that are needing repairs such as no covers on our light fixtures, trim falling down, a window broken after delivery, no screens on our windows, rips and tears in the flooring, and on the outside where our double wide was put together there is no covering under the roof where the home is joined together. The lumber is open to the elements. The front door has been dragging the flooring which has caused a big tear in the flooring all the way down to the subfloor. After asking several times we cannot get a punchlist completed on our home from Heritage in Sapulpa.
