Had a great experience at the memorial location. There was a great selection ranging from massage chairs to inground pools. The staff was very helpful and nice. Will definitely be coming back when our backyard is ready.Galaxy Home Recreation

My experience with Galaxy Home Recreation fell just short of a scam.First, our initial install was supposed to be a 2 week wait. It was rescheduled about 10 times and was a 5+ week wait. It then took 5 days to install because the installer only worked a couple hours a day. The pool was placed 7 feet away from where it was supposed to be put because it needed dedicated power; I paid $1,000 for the installation (which is fine), but then paid another $850 to move it next to the pool due to the misplacement, Galaxy refuses to do anything to help. The pool is also not smooth on the bottom and is leaning about 2 to 3 inches to one side, Galaxy refuses to fix it. After installation, we discovered a $1,000 piece of equipment, the Ozone Generator, that wasn't installed and was placed in the trash. We informed Galaxy and it was finally installed 2 weeks later. Right after the initial installation, the pool was leaking and parts were broken and installed anyway; the installer kept saying he was coming to fix it and never showed up. Galaxy had to send another installer to fix the leaks. Parts keep falling off the pool and I've had to repair hose and pump leaks myself. 6 weeks after the original install, due to a defect on the ladder that Galaxy supplied, the bottom of the pool has been punctured in two places. At the time of me writing this, about 1/4 of the water (***** gallons) has leaked out. I managed to do a decent patch, but it is the bottom of the pool and the pressure is still forcing water out. Galaxy told me 2 weeks to repair it. In the meantime, I've had to cancel my 6 year old birthday pool party which is tomorrow. The care, concern, and professionalism of the people that work here is non existent. They lie and gaslight as easy as breathing. I've asked on 5 separate occasions to talk to a manager, they are always conveniently "in meetings" and say they will call me back; I've never been contacted by a manager. We purchased a $10.5K J-315 Jacuzzi that when installed 6/11/2024, had dirty filters, missing skimmer bag & remains of filthy water in piping discovered as we did our initial tub fill. Took pictures on our iPhones in to asst ********************** manager *********************** who said she would not replace filters unless we made the 20-mile return trip with the dirty filters due an inventory requirement, which we ended up doing. We have not received the skimmer bag, nor been compensated for having received a dirty, demo-unit, sold-as-new hot tub. We had been previously owned a Hot Springs Prodigy from Fiesta and are now having 'buyers remorse'.Galaxy Home Recreation

Regarding the west testing of the spa, please note that all units are thoroughly wet-tested by the manufacturer before the shipment to ensure functionally and performance. This process involves filling the spa with water, which is then drained before packaging and shipment. We apologize if any residual water or other issues were present upon delivery.
We acknowledge that our initial response regarding the filter replacement was not up to our standards of customer service. Hopefully, we have resolved this matter to your satisfaction, including a purge of the spa, replacement of filters and providing the skimmer bag. Did not finish installing the pool and left the job site for over a week. The liner is ripped before ever even getting a chance to open the pool. Paid for in-house electric, was told by the service department I need to hire my own electrician when in fact its a pre-paid for line item in my package. The employees that dug the pool left their personal trash all over my property - i.e. Gatorade bottles, water bottles, dip bottles etc. The job ******* asked for a tip.when **** already wrote a very nice sized check to the pool company. I wasnt aware of tipping in the contractor industry.I have yet to have anyone come out and inspect the work that the crew did; my backyard is a disaster and I have an incomplete paid in full pool with nothing to do with but stare at while my kids wait to use it.Galaxy Home Recreation

Bought pool, paid over $7k. While connecting vacuum discovered we were missing a part, skimmer lid adapter. Called, they apologized and said one was in stock, come by. **** in, explained again, they wanted to charge me. When I explained AGAIN, was told if I try to leave with it they were calling police! We bought an outdoor patio set in March 2023. Upon delivery, a cushion was damaged for one of the chairs. We followed their process and filed a complaint along with photos and measurements. Here we are 10 months later and still no resolution. They have sent us the wrong size cushion 4 different times. They have taken measurements themselves along with us sending additional measurements and they still send the wrong size cushion. Have called and left a message but no response. 1 starI would give zero stars if able. I would not recommend them unless you want to deal with lies, lack of communication and their offer of a “resolution” by asking us to spend more money! The past 4 months have been incredibly frustrating. Purchased an inground swimming pool from galaxy process of installation started mid August was swimming by September. Everyone we worked with was wonderful polite on time clean did a great job. Cannot recommend them enough continued experience with pool school once again great group of people. cannot say enough good things.Galaxy Home Recreation
