May 17, 2023 Servpro of South Tulsa contracted ****** Mini to deliver storage pod. ****** Mini dropped off wrong pod without incident. While picking it up to deliver another one, pod came off truck, was drug the length of the driveway and then off the driveway across lawn and hardscaping. Not only was driveway scratched and gouged but concrete had been chipped/cracked on edge of expansion seam. Within an hour, ****** Mini rep came out and assured me they would not send that truck back out. He then told me it would cost $30,000 to replace the driveway and he had even seen brand new driveway damage insurance companies would not do anything about. I told him I wanted ****** Mini to file a claim on their accident insurance. Another pod was delivered that day without incident. In ******* ****** Mini picked up the pod. I left multiple messages but did not hear back from ****** Mini.Contacted Servpro and was told Servpro had not done the damage and ****** Mini would have to take care of it. I informed them ****** Mini would not have been on my property had they not contracted them, and they needed to contact ****** Mini.****** Mini rep contacted me, came out with power washer. I again asked for him to file claim. Since power washing wouldnt repair damage, he left. Contacted Servpro and rep came out to look. He contacted pod company who said they would pay me $300 and Servpro would provide a bag of dirt and a power wash. 10/20/23 - Servpro billed me $2,561.35. I emailed them that I wouldnt pay bill until driveway damage had been addressed.November, emailed Servpro requesting names of insurance companies for both ****** Mini and Servpro in order to file a claim. Servpro called to tell me ****** Mini upped their offer to $1,000. I want ****** Mini and/or Servpro to pay a total of $7,381.00 to replace the driveway and repair lawn/landscaping.

We did call mobile mini on your behalf to drop a pod.   The contract was between the customer and mobile mini as the customer was the one who signed the release of liability as well as the contract with mobile mini.   We offered to clean the driveway as a courtesy, however any claim should be with vendor mobile mini.     I would like to note that there was a significant amount of cracking and settling of the driveway prior to the pod being placed in the driveway.   The replacement cost appears to include the deterioration of the driveway prior to any work conducted.  The offer of a $1000 would have been sufficient to cover the portion damaged by mobile mini.

I am rejecting this response because:   I asked twice for a claim to be filed with Mobile Mini to determine if the driveway could be just repaired or would have to be replaced.  I then even requested for insurance policy information to file a claim and was not given the information.  The driveway is not new, but it is permanently damaged.  Since concrete was chipped at the expansion seam, it now has a hole which continues and will continue to widen with each rain/ice/snowfall and freezing/thawing.  So, having tried multiple times to get a claim filed I now want the replacement cost.

As we stated before you signed a contract with that contractor and any complaint or request should be directed to them.   We cannot respond on their behalf as the contract was between you and them.

I was in the final stage of settling with two companies:  Servpro of South Tulsa and Mini Mobile.  So could you reopen both claims, please?

This complaint is tied to another complaint with Mobile Mini, #********.  I have offered a settlement with Mobile Mini if Servpro will deduct from their bill of $2,561.  Would you please reopen this one so I can relay this to them?  Thanks

We will not reduce our invoice in this matter.  We were not the ** on this job, we did not mitigate or do any construction work here, we were hired to pack in and pack out belongings.  Her contract for the storage container was with Mobile Mini and any dispute revolving around the container should be between ********************* and Mobile Mini.
