1 starI bought a van on May 10, 2024. I had to wait a couple of extra days for them to put new tires on my used 2020 **** transit van. I returned from a road trip last week and had my oil changed, where upon they told me that my front tires were very dangerous to drive on due to extreme ware! 1 star***** V Wow! DO NO BUY A CAR FROM THESE GUYS. My husband put in a compaint last Spring and got no response. That means these people have no excuse for fraudulant contracts. My husband traded in a 2019 **** Edge ST with 8k miles and they gave him credit for it ($36,000). They then sold him a 2019 **** Edge ST with 16K miles (ad 4 bad tires) for $49,472.10. Which was the market price for a ******************** Nov 2021? $36K or $45K? Well it just depoends on which side of the desk you are setting on. Obviously we were on the "get screwed side" and the Damerow **** finance guy was sitting on the "screwer side". Does not sound like a business anyone would want to deal with. Where did **************** go? Pass these guys by as there are plenty of local car dealers that know how to treat customers with dignity. 1 starDO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS PLACE COMPLETE waste of my time and money. I have spent a total of 12 hours in the last 2 weeks having to return here 4 times. ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS SERVICE MY BRONCO, yet I was sucked into buying a new car. First, they put me into an upgraded car that I absolutely loved just to turn around and take it back. ********** in finance ASSURED me this would not happen. After returning the vehicle, I INSISTED I wanted a full refund and my Bronco back. I made a huge mistake and fell for another offer. I notice the car isnt running the same as when I test drove it. Its struggling to accelerate. I immediately drive it back to the dealership and try to give it back, get my bronco back and refund. One of the sales managers tells me no and were very rude to my dad that I had to get on the phone to talk to them. ****, my sales rep does not have a clue what hes doing despite being new. They couldnt answer any of my questions and didnt relay any of my concerns to services. I take the car in hopes I just needed to get used to a gutless vehicle that I downgraded to. Only to see a warning pop up when I get home saying engine coolant over temperature. The next morning I call in utter disbelief and grief to what I have been dealing with. I am a single mother to a toddler and they put me in an unsafe vehicle. They come to my house with a loaner and take the pos to get serviced. For 2 whole days I have no update. I call and call and finally get in touch with my service rep ****** who tells me its just a bad battery. A whole other issue than what I took it back for. I asked about the engine warning and she had no idea, doesnt listen to a word I said and does not check in with the tech like she said she would, no call back. I waste my time again going to pick up the pos only to see the warning about the coolant over temperature IS STILL THERE. I refused to take the vehicle off the lot and they let me take the loaner home. Never going here again.Review fromItzel V

1 starI wish I could give this location 0 stars. I brought in my 2013 **** Escape for a recall service. I was assigned the service advisor, ***** and he was absolutely horrible and failed at communicating with me. I took in my car at Thursday 7am, confirmed my cell with ***** in case he needed to reach me, received what appeared to be an automatic text from him providing me with an additional number to call/text for updates around 9am. I texted him a few hours later asking for any updates/new info - not a word from him. My car ended up staying there overnight (no one told me anything) and I had to change my plans and figure out a ride to work for the following day. No loaner or rental car was offered.Come Friday morning, I call again, leave a voicemail - still nothing from *****. He FINALLY calls me Friday around 10am saying he did call me and left a voicemail, informing me my car was ready yesterday. I call bluff, but sure.Turns out, nothing was done to my car so the whole appointment was pointless. ***** failed to communicate the situation and make it clear what was happening. At this point I was just eager to get my car back so they ended up delivering my car to my work. The guy who delivered it just handed me the keys, didn't confirm ID, name, situation - nothing. I could've been a stranger and he just handed the keys freely. He also altered my car settings and left all the protective plastic/paper gear in my car.Again, please don't come here. My experience with ***** (and the whole service department at this point) has been unprofessional and they all lack basic communication skills. As I read other reviews (ex. ******* Yelp), I'm seeing others had a similar experience to mine. I should've done better detective work. 1 starI was convinced to trade in a **** Escape that was leased. It had severl months left on the lease (**** Motor Credit lease). Damerow must have loaded the amount owed on the lease to the purchase contract of the 2019 **** Eedge ST I bought. The payment for the Edge was $880 per month. After about a year I decided that was just too mucfh to pay for a **** per month, I took The 2019 Edge in and said what are my options. They suggested I buy another used 2019 **** Edge ST. I did and the payment wnet down to $660 per month. Well now times are tough and I decided to do someothing to lower my costs. (By the way the tires on my 2019 **** Edge were worn to the redline at ****** miles (bought it with ****** miles). I asked what happened as the tire must have been switched on the trade in or ???. My problem now is that I still owe $36,500 on the 2019 **** Edge and it is ony worth $19,500. Iam 2 payments behind and the lender wants to tke the car back. My problem is they take the car back and sell it for $19,000 and I am stuck with a $17,000 loan and no car. How did Damerow ever get a lender to loan me $44,000 on a used car that was 3 years old, bad tires and ****** miles. I have not options as Damerow loaded up this loan from the begining and I am STUCK.Review fromCatherine K

2 starsDid not inspect car before selling it:Personal items of previous owners still in the car, never cleaned/detailed Chipped windshield, noticed by me, not dealership Chipped tail light, noticed by me, not dealership Car serviced by this dealership for years yet did not fix two SAFETY recalls still outstanding Dealership agreed to fix these things but I have not heard back from them in almost a month to schedule.Had contact two weeks ago and was reassured that I would hear from someone to schedule an appointment and I never did.Review fromJake B

This is the most unethical dealer we have ever dealt with. In the past 2.5 years we have purchased 9 **** trucks, 2 Isuzus, a Ram, and a Jeep (all brand new) and never had such a poor experience with a dealer. We talked to the sales man who took our credit card for a deposit to hold a Transit Van at an agreed upon price. We made an appointment for the following morning. We received a call 30 minutes before our appointment (we were already on our way) saying that they may have sold the van out from under us and sure enough when we got there at our appointment time the transit van was sold. ************************* is terribly unethical. We had a verbal contractual agreement and it was broken. We would NEVER do business with Damerow ****.Damerow Ford Company

2 starsDamerow **** failed to take care of my registration properly when I traded in my car and bought a vehicle from them. I paid over $3,000 in the fees for everything and I am unable to drive my vehicle because i have no license plates.They were supposed to give me the plates off my car and put them in the vehicle I purchased and they failed to do that . I was under the impression ( because of all the fees I paid them) that I was getting everything in the mail.They gave me a temporary trip permit, which is now expired, so I can't even drive my vehicle .I went to my local dmv about this,, they said I have to get another temporary trip permit from the dealership,, and I need to have my plates,, along with the registration and tags, or else I will have to dish out another $2,000 (minimum), to get my car registeredin this state.Damerow **** says they lost the plates and don'tknow where they are, I just think they.are not only being lazy, but don't actually care about their customers. They told the ****** DMV that they gave me my plates, when they in fact, did not. This is what DMV told me. I'm very upset, now I can't drive anywhere. BEWARE! Sold us a lemon in October 2021 by December 2021 it was in the shop with the engine light. We had bought a so called certified **** used explorer also purchased the additional extended bumper to bumper warranty for additional $4k. March 2022 only owned the car for 5 months and had driven 6k miles and have been told by the **** mechanic engine is shot and needs replaced. Has sat at the **** mechanic for NINE weeks while they have fought wether **** or the extended warranty people will pay for the replacement. We have placed tons of phone calls to Damarow and we are promised a call back and never get one. They have extremely poor customer service and do not care once you pull off the lot. We have been forced to hire a lawyer and report them to the better ****************Damerow Ford Company

This is an unfortunate situation to say the least. Damerow has escalated this matter with ********** Company and ***************** the two parties that are disputing who is financially responsible. The vehicle is currently in another state at another dealership, so Damerow **** is unable to perform the repair or force the other dealership to do so and get the vehicle back in the owners hands. We understand the frustration caused by this set of circumstances, and will now move aside so that the legal process can take place between the affect parties listed above.
