I had taken my 2008 **** F-350 6.4 diesel to **** to replace my engine with a running engine and add a few performance parts. Im was currently looking for a replacement engine as inexpensive as I could. I was going to take care of the transaction and delivery when he completed the repairs. He had agreed to do the repairs based on his estimate of 40 hour of labor. I had a budget of $4,000 dollars budget and **** agreed to these terms. I was under the assumption he was to locate the engine and install it. As the vehicle sat for sum time he had told me I needed to locate the engine and pay for it. The engine was removed (a simple task) he began to try and up sell us on the work that needed to be done. At this time all he had done is removed the engine, Then he was evicted from his place of business in Brownsville and moved his business to his home in Sweet home I decided I didnt want to continue working with him any further. After talking to ****** ********** to another business we arranged to put a new engine in and have it installed for ***** budget and went and picked up my truck with the engine in the bed and ******************* for removing the engine and doing a diagnosis (which we had already done) was $1365.00 dollars! He charged me of labor for removing the engine. He had sold my emissions to a friend and was to give $500 credit. We finally agreed that I would pay him $1100 for the work that he had already done but didnt give me my $500 dollar credit. I was fortunate to not have anymore work done by him or else I would have been well over budget. He upped his time for labor from 40 hours to 50 hours. The truck was delivered to him in In May 2021 and I picked my truck up in May of 2022 this was a huge waste of our time and our money to have zero work done. I was essentially back to where we started and spent $1100 on labor and a tow bill for $200 to get my truck to a trusted mechanic.

      ****,

After you dropped your truck off last year I got to work on it right away I then learned you stopped making payments on your truck loan and told me not to worry because you bought the truck in ********** and they would never find it way up here. You then stated that you did not have the funds for this job and started offering me your sisters puppies and a wore out 97 **** Expedition for trade. We do not barter for repairs . This is when I  Decided to park the truck giving you time to  come up with the funds while I  moved on to actual paying jobs. I stored your truck for you for over a year and didnt charge you any storage fees as that is my company policy. When you got your taxes done and finally had the money to fix your truck it just happened to be my busiest season of the year and told you that I would be happy to do it for you but that I was booked out 2 to 3 months so you would have to wait for me as I have waited over a year for you. You did not like that answer so you came to my shop with every intention to tow your vehicle away when I was not here without paying your ****. You then proceeded to yell and threaten me telling me you are an Italian with an anger problem. Even after you coming to my place of business with the intent to take your truck without paying your ****  and causing a scene I was still willing to work with you on your **** and reduce the price to fit your budget because you told me you only had **** dollars to your name, my question to you was, if I got your truck done in a few days how would you intended on paying for it if you only had **** ? you then said you were hoping to work out a payment plan! Once again I do not perform services in trade for puppies or worn out vehicles and I do not accept payment plans nor does any other reputable mechanic business if you do not have the funds to pay for your repair  then you shouldnt drop your vehicle off and expect the repair to be done. I did you favor by lowering your **** so you could afford it. I do not owe you anything. Hopefully the next shop you go to for your sake, likes puppies and clapped out cars. Best of luck.
