    Bought a 2023 CX5 Mazda and paid cash for the car. They said they were going to run a soft credit check when in fact they did a hard credit check that affected my credit score.I have contacted 4 different employees at Mazda and none of them have called back.Finally went to the dealership and spoke to them in person and they said they would work to resolve this and as of 3/13/23 no one has called back.

    If we could give zero stars, we would. Came in on Saturday, 4/13. Waited in the lot for about an hour and a half while the salesman bungled around with the keys, trying to find the right keys to the vehicles we wanted to see. This was especially painful for my partner, who is a disabled veteran on the verge of knee surgery. When we finally went for a test drive, we told the salesman the fuel warning light was on and expressed concern. He said we would be fine. We were not fine. The car broke down due to lack of fuel and we were stranded on the side of the road. After promising us we'd be rescued in about 3 minutes, we waited for over 20 minutes (we were only a mile away from the dealership) for someone to show up. We reported the incident first to another salesman and later online. The only thing we were told was that they were sorry they "fell short," they would let a manager know, and they hoped we'd come back. That's it?!?! After all of that, we just got a copy-and-paste canned apology. This experience speaks volumes about how much this dealership and Mazda in general sees their potential customers. I can't even imagine how they treat their actual customers if there is a problem. I've never had a worse experience with a dealership. We were devalued, dismissed, and humiliated.
