1 starWVC Office. The crew could not remove the ledger board that I removed myself. They ripped the old siding off without regard of the security devices I had installed on my home. I was then asked if I knew how to remove the electrical panel. I was asked to remove the Vivint security devices. They left my dog run & backyard gate open & old siding in my front & back yard. We were told there would be a dumpster delivered which didn't happen until we went to the office. After they left, I noticed a broken camera ************ can next to the backyard fence. Moisture barrier was not on the whole house until a few of days before the project was complete & frames around the ************* rather than adjusting the siding. The backyard faucet frame was not even round. After the crew had departed, I found most the front of was installed as a lap not shake as was specified, which had to be torn off and redone. I also noticed no hole for my dryer vent. Someone came out tot fix it & left my attic exposed to the rain. Siding under my window was a different color, I was told this would be painted to match. Not wanting paint, was then told that it would be 3 weeks. We moved the materials that remained to the driveway then received an ordinance notice stating we had junk in the driveway and to remove it. We told them & the next day the crew showed to complete the job. We received an email stating they would have the materials cleaned up. We did a walk around and I found many large spaces between the boards that would have to be filled with caulk. Above my front door was not done. There were also many pipes or cords not caulked around nor had the vertical fascia been caulked to keep bugs out. They attempted to fix these problems, at the end of the day we did another walk around. Most of the spaces had been filled and above the door was done. We aren't satisfied with DaBella, and a $50k price tag, just wanting a 2-month debacle over. We signed off on the job. 6 mo later & still disgustedReview fromKenton V

1 starI was looking for a company to re-shingle my home. I randomly chose Dabella. That was a big mistake. They sent over 2 high pressure salesmen. The were very convincing. They said that it **** cost 15K to do a complet roof repair. I thought that it was kind of steep but I needed the job done. At the time I had another contractor repaiing the water damage from the leak. The Dabella salesmen were there there as the repars were being completed. I told the salsmen that I **** hire them if they **** have the job done before it started raining in September. They promised that they would. I called one of the sailsmen in August and asked them why the job haven't been done. The salesman said that he **** look into it and call me back. He never called me. I called the other salesman and asked him what happened. He *** he would check. I got a call from Dabella and they told me that they were too busy to get my roof done. I asked them what they were going to do about the leak. I was told that the local contractor would call me. The contractor called and told me he would come over and put a tarp over the roof. He never came over. I have *********** and am unable to get on my roof anymore. Needless to say my ceiling repair job got destroyed by the water damage. I put out buckets to catch the dripping water but the floor got wet anyway. I ended up with one of my legs falling through the floor. I am in the mid stages of *********** and it took about 20 minutes to get my leg out of the hole. I then got a call from Dabella around December. They said that they were missing a sereal number off of my manufactured home. I got the number for them. The local contractor came over in January and finally repaired and shingled my roof. The next time it rained my roof leaked in the very same place. They got someone out to fix it right away but why was my new $15,000.00 dollar roof leaking in the first place?Review fromAndy B

I was told by a DaBella employee going around the neighborhood door to door that I could get a free no hassle roof inspection and estimate. All I would have to do was make a appointment. When the day came for the appointment the DaBella employee showed up on time, *****. He proceeded to show me things bad on the roof like ***** nails among other things like ventilation problems.Somethings could be bad but others I knew were just scare tack tics. I lost faith in him and the company right away, but I wanted an estimate anyway. The 1st quote came in at almost $80,000 about 3 times what a roof should cost. So I told him that was too much and we were done, knowing he was never going to be competitively priced and asked him to leave. He said he needed to call his boss to try and get a better price. This happened two more times, each time I was polite and asked him to leave. The last time the price was down to about $42000. After the last 2 quotes I explained I was out of time for this, due to illness in the family I don't even think he listened. This was about 2 hours into the ordeal. I then told him he had to leave he started again about calling his boss so I told him again he needed to get out of the house now. He said he couldn't till he talked to his boss, at that point I told him to get out or I was going to call the police he said are you throwing me out? I said yes he still insisted about talking to his boss, I asked him for the phone to talk to his boss but he wouldn't give it to me, I don't think he really was talking to anyone on the phone. Finally my wife picked up his tablet and headed to the door and he followed and finally left. I was promised a no hassle quote and I could call back if I wanted them to do the job. Never received a written quote. What I got was a super high pressure sales job that the guy wasn't going to leave until you agreed to an over priced roof job. Had to be one of worsted experiences of my life. Would never use this company.DaBella

I contracted Dabella to do my siding in August of last year. They had to do it twice because the first crew did a horrible job. The second crew was better but it still took more time than it should have. Since they finished I've had siding fall off of my house. They say they'll come out, but haven't. They said they'd give me a partial refund, but didn't. No one at the office will return my call. I asked for an itemized receipt. They wouldn't do it. My only recourse is to file a law suit.DaBella

1 starOur sales rep went into our attic and showed us many beams and structural components to the roof and said we needed to get it all replaced. Price was $38,000 but for a whole new roof including beams and plywood sheets. All they did was take off shingles and replace shingles. This would be a job costing at most $10,000. We got burned so bad. Sales rep left no paperwork and had not heard from DaBella for nearly three months. Do not use DaBella for anything. They will promise one thing and deliver another. We are absolutely disgusted by what has happened to **.Review fromLynae M

1 starId give them zero stars if I could. From the sales tactics of Im getting you the best deal pushy to the fact that its actually *****k over priced. I wish I had done better at really vetting this company by overlooking all of their fake reviews on ******* We needed new windows but we were eventually pushed into getting our siding done. It was way over-priced. Being new homeowners, we didnt know too much. We do now, never get pushed into things. The entire thing was 15k overpriced, and was done with the cheapest labor. For the longest time we had only 1 guy working on our entire **** square foot home. He was installing it all incorrectly, putting the ****** board while it was wet, nailing not on the nail line, not putting on flashing, even the trim was not put on right. I had to even tell them how to store it correctly since they were going to leave it all out in the rain!! We complained a lot, and they finally got a new crew out. It was ok, but still plenty of mistakes. This whole ordeal took 7 weeks to finish. 1 year later we are seeing the effects of their poor job. From the caulking being very visible now, to siding separating from the home. They also messed up the flashing on our chimney so we had a leak in the winter that we now have to replace. It has been a nightmare. Do not go with this company. They scam you and use pushy sales tactics that make you seem like youre getting the best deal when in actuality its overpriced and they give you the worst product. Id be happy to pay more for a good job, but the job was done as if I paid my tool challenged uncle to do it.Review fromKat R

1 starThey sent a salesman to my house under false pretenses. I only needed a door replaced. After this guy showed up and came inside to look at the damaged door, he told me they "don't do doors." Instead, he pressured me to replace my good-condition clapboard with fiber cement siding. He roughly yanked my siding up, damaging it, without even asking permission. He didn't know squat about his product or about the warranty. He could only recite the script about the company's history. The price - which took forever to get out of him - was insanely high: $47K for a small house (about **** sq ft of siding). The exact same product from another installer is about $15K - $20K. I nearly had to call the police to get this jerk out of my house. I told him over and over I was not buying anything from him and he needed to leave. I went from politely telling him to leave, to telling him how uncomfortable I was and begging him to leave, to losing my cool and raising my voice - gathering his stuff for him, holding the door, gesturing outside, and yelling, "SHOO! Get out of my house! GET OUT, GET OUT, GET OUT!" No one should ever reach this point with a stranger in their home. I did not feel safe.Review fromTanya F

I did a survey asking about home remodel for my bathroom, and ever since they call me daily or ever couple of days after telling them repeatedly that I do not want to look into it for at least a month to call back then. One person even ignored my words and tried to schedule me anyway. This has been going on for a few weeks, and it is getting tiring, When I do get the work done after all the harassing, I will never call them or use them. I have to answer calls in case it is regarding my mom or my son.DaBella

I am so angry I agreed to have work done with this company. I highly and strongly advise against doing business with DaBella! For many reasons! First their sales tactics are heavy pressure, over selling what they typically do, and staying in your home way beyond what is reasonable, 4.5 hrs, for a consultation/estimate and not leaving as soon as I said I wanted them to go. Next, their communication about the agreed upon job, to the roofing contractor, and again to the gutter contractor, is virtually non-existent. The scheduler has zero clue about the job being done also. And does not call to confirm job starting the next day. Don't bother leaving a voice message as the scheduler doesn't bother calling back. The roofer who came to my property was clueless about the details of my job, did it wrong, and then had to come back out to consult with me about the way the job was supposed to be done, schedule another day to come, and make the roof right. This is after complaining to the sales person, who had to bring in management to work this out. Management never contacted me.Today the gutter contractor came out and installed gutter where there is no flow from the roof, again, because of the non-existent communication from the sellers, DaBella! The gutter contractor is now having to come back out to fix the job they did. The emotional distress caused by the incompetence of DaBella has been the greatest regret I have. Honestly, they owe me a partial refund for the distress they have caused me, which is a lot!DaBella

1 starI wish I could leave zero stars. The 2 sales persons were very unprofessional. They were very persistent and would not take no for an answer. My husband kept telling them no because he needed to go over it with me too. They kept asking him to call me while I was at work. So glad I looked at their reviews before making a decision.
