      I think most people that work at branches are excellent. I think the problem is those at Corporate. When I got me car loan I kept getting threatening letters they were going to insure my car because I hadn't given them sufficient proof, although they had received it three times. Finally I hit them with "good faith law" and the backed away.Years later, we had money stolen from a debit card... some of it protected under Federal trade rules and regulations. Onpoint however refuses to refund the money.. we now have another "good faith" issue.This will be a dog fight I'm not backing off of.****

      Worst credit union in Oregon, they keep holding *********** I deposited my check last Friday and today is Tuesday 7:40 pm, it's been over 48 business hours and it's still not available in my account I've been deposit the same company checks for the last 8 years without any problems until this year I will be closing my account and looking for a better local business, thanks but not thanks OnPoint

      Suddenly I couldnt find the record of my credit card purchases from Jan.2020 to April 2023.The assistant on the phone tried to tell me to simply get my e-statements, or try listing the tally in reverse order of the dates. I kept saying- why can I not see purchases 11 months ago? ! I tried to get him to understand- this is a problem w/OnPoint, will they be fixing it? and he couldn't answer it. I have been w/them for 30+ years & have run into other problems. /i have spent about 2 hrs trying to resolve this. They said they'd send old statements, needing 3-5 biz days to receive them. It's been 7 biz days, nothing in the mail. I am about to leave them. and I will report this to Salem, Consumer Biz Affairs.

      I went to the ***************** branch to close accounts yesterday. I waited for ten minutes at the teller row just to check in. I told the teller the purpose of my visit, then waited in the lobby for another 35 minutes, but no one came to help me or just to check if I had been helped. I had to leave after 45 minutes because my lunch break was up. Today, I called them to make an appointment, but was told to just go to the branch because they don't make appointments between 11 and 2. I work at a bank. This is unacceptable if this happened at my branch. They advertise that OnPoint is the best credit union in ******. What a joke. I wouldn't give them a star if that was an option. People are not the point to them, obviously.

      Bank in general is a jock.... never try to even think about.... an obvious case of fraud I been exposed to, they couldn't recover my lose,,, our lose was big enough to break our budget .... Fraudulent actively and website was clearly scamming people under a name of another legit business and good website,,, they scammed us taking $343, enough Doc., emails, and proof that this website is a big Scam, but they couldn't recover our lose, I was told you have a duty to make sure you know the merchants your dealing with is legit.!!!!!!!!! This is ******jock. if there is less than one Star ratting I would give this bank. ONPOINT COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION ARE A BIG JOCK. AND DON'T DESERV THANKS

      I have been a member of OnPoint Credit Union for 47 years. They no longer want my business as clearly indicated by their low interest rates and poor customer **********************. I am moving my financial business to another credit union who pays good interest rates, wants my business, and has wonderful customer **********************.

      I have had many loans through various credit unions and banks. I have never encountered the type of customer ********************** I have endured with onpoint. They make it almost impossible to make a payment online and impossible to setup auto pay(they require a voided check, it's 2023. Does anyone use checks now). I called in for help, I was transferred 3 times before someone was able to give me any useful advice.

      Praying for all those that have had to deal with this sorry excuse of a financial institution. I can find an average 5th grader to do decent basic math and make it sense. Trusting anybody here to manage your finances is an absolutely terrible decision and does not make any sense for any body. I dont care how much money you make, they can not manage it. You will be sweating all the time with them in your corner. They have no sense of what customer ********************** even means, and if it were up to me they would not be allowed to operate legally. Terrible system. With terrible employees. Terrible apps. Overall terrible credit union. Multiple lawsuits have been filed against this company under the same category of good faith and fair dealings/circumstances that I have experienced in my many years of being a member within. They do not care about their customers and they never will. I have been a member for over 10 years and it has gotten significantly worse with no accountability on their end. In fact you are more likely to do their job correct for them and show them exactly where they went wrong and they will still not take any responsibility but claim they are operating perfectly. Yikes. Absolutely do not recommend. Anything else would be better. Their loan rates are horrible. This is a simply bottom tier organization.

      I was coerced into opening a savings account with my vehicle loan. The only way to earn a realistic interest rate on their savings is to "bundle" it. Coerced into opening a checking account and a separate "bundled savings" account. I was told that the catch was that I had to respond directly to the offer through their app- emailing it to me was not an option. Their app is very unreliable on my devices, so I typically do not use them as a bank. I was reassured that everything would be fine, but I had to respond immediately to the offer when it appeared, as it would expire rather quickly. A few hours later I logged in- no offer. Same next day.Waited several days, and now I am locked out of my online access. There is zero customer ********************** available. I called the number as directed- and it was basic self-help only. No option to speak with anyone. The only positive I have to offer is that they do have a good youth savers program. I have experienced so many other frustrations that I believe they don't even care about the customers who provide their wealth.Time to close my accounts and minimize my headaches with them.I'll be closing my Son's account the day before his 18th birthday. I DO NOT recommend them at this time.

      Just closed my account with them. Customer ********************** is a joke! Steer clear of this bank if you can, there are so many better alternatives. I had money stolen due to fraud and in a nutshell I was told You have a duty to make sure you know the merchants your dealing with is safe. Never again!
