              The issue I am facing is related to their identity verification process, which has left me unable to avail myself of the student discount I am entitled to.A week ago , I initiated the identity verification process with SheerID to access a student discount for a service. I successfully completed the verification process and received a code, which I subsequently used to enjoy the student discount during my trial period.However, my trial period has now ended, and the system is requesting the code for verification once again. When I attempt to re-enter the code, I am informed that it has already been redeemed. At the same time, when I attempt to start the verification process from scratch, I am informed that my verification is already complete. This contradictory information leaves me in an impossible situation, as I am unable to access the student discount that is essential to me as a student.I am writing to request a fair and prompt resolution to this matter. I kindly ask that SheerID either make the existing code functional again or provide me with a new, valid code that allows me to access the student discount I am ***********. It is unjust that I should be denied this discount due to a technical error beyond my control, especially when I can provide evidence of my ongoing student status.I have contacted SheerID's customer support multiple times, specifically the agent ********** but their responses have not addressed the issue or provided a solution. I believe that SheerID's service has not only failed to meet my expectations but has also resulted in a loss of the benefits associated with my student status.I trust that the Better Business Bureau will investigate this matter and facilitate a fair resolution that ensures I can access the student discount I am eligible for.Thank you for your attention to this complaint, and I look forward to your assistance in resolving this matter.

              SheerID is tasked with performing validation of ******** First Responder status. Their process immediately rejected my ID provided by my organization and did not state why it "didn't meet the requirements" (despite their site stating it would meet the requirements). After finally contacting customer service once it stated I was out of attempts (via their useless email help, no phone contact is available...probably because of all the complaints they would receive), I received the confirmation email that I was verified. Fast forward a few weeks and ******** states the verification was not completed, and I was at risk of losing my discounted plan status. ******** indicated they never received verification from SheerID and wanted me to re-do the process. SheerID needs to either find out how ID.me works (since they actually do work) or quit the business.

              10/6/2023 . ******** told me to submit my ******** card for ********* assist program to sheerid. sheerid said the document was too old to verify. i was approved not even a year ago and it does not state a date of issue, only when my insurance took effect. I actually gave them a screen shot from the medicare.gov website like they asked and was still refused. take the information and verify it with tools like you say you do. causing hassles for disabled people really helps my situation

              ******* uses sheeid to ***************. I'm a student currently attending ***************************. I submitted my student id which is also my *********** debit card. My verification was denied for no reason. This is a valid form of verification. They do not provide a regular student id with just a time frame anymore. They no longer provide an enrollment welcome packet so i'm not able to verify my attendance that way. I'm attending school mon-thurs online and in person. It's not fair they won't accept my student id. It is a valid one and i refuse to show the numbers or chip on the debit card for security purposes. It clearly states college id *****************************. They're working with old processes. My school no longer provides a regular id although i asked for one. I also asked about a welcome letter just for verification purposes but they're not offered anymore. I want to be able to get my student discounts. This is my first yr in college and i'm not able to because these companies uses a third party verification system that's not accurate.

              Trying to get verified for the LinkedIn premium and it does not accept any adequate documentation for approval. Ex: LES, orders, W-2, CAC Photo, etc. Not a very good automatic approval process.

              I am a graduate student. My school does not have student IDs with expiration dates, our schedules don't have our names on them because it's a college and it's online, and my tuition bill isn't set up the way they like it apparently so they won't verify me as a student. It is absolutely ridiculous to operate that way no one is taking all those different pieces from someone else just to get a 20% discount from target. Do better! Most other companies just verify through email so this is just the most convoluted process, not every university has the same stuff so stop assuming they do and trust students like I said ask for a verified student email and take people's word because you're operating your business terribly and discounts like that make a big difference for a student with little income. You have required more documents from me than I need at the *** to get a new realID license so how is that okay?

              SheerID has once again failed to validate military status for ******* military discount after reporting that that it had verified military status in email & at BBB, incompetence!

              Our records indicate that several additional verification requests have been submitted after the previous successful verification. At this time, ******* has limits on the number of successful verifications allowed per ******** in a given time period. As you have already been verified as of 7/5, you will not need to fill out the verification form again. 

              The previous communication was marked as satisfactorily resolved after receipt of the confirmation email for the offer as is included in the image section of this complaint. Per that image, you have been successfully verified for ******** military discount through SheerID. After verification, you must click the link in the confirmation email received, which should redirect you to the ******* website to enter your payment information and/or complete enrollment.

              As a third-party verification company, SheerID assists solely with the verification process, and we do not have access to ******* ******** accounts or systems.               I tried to get a military spouse free 1 yr Premium account for LinkenDIN. I submitted ****************** and they say it does not match what is on the verification form. I sent AT Orders a screen shot of my husband entry date along with his exit date, both our licenses. It should not be this hard and I want to know what do they do with all of it he Military documents and personal information. One of those documents accidentally had my husbands SOCIAL SECURITY on it and now I am worried I missed crossing it out by accident do to them asking for numbers info. Also sent in DD214 to show I was active duty and now reserves. I want my information on my AT Orders and DD214 discarded and deleted so no one can steal my social security number or if my identity or husbands identity is taken I will know it was taken from SHEERID employees! They really should not be asking for orders and stuff. They have no phone number just email and they need to respond to be with a phone call.

              I am writing to file a complaint against SHeerID, a company that specializes in document verification. On [date], I uploaded some personal documents to their website in order to verify my identity. However, I soon noticed that my computer started running slowly and that some of my personal information had been taken like my cookies to track me on other sites with out my permission.After some investigation, I discovered that SHeerID had downloaded spyware onto my computer without my knowledge or consent. This spyware had been tracking my online activity, collecting my personal information, and slowing down my computer.I contacted SHeerID immediately to inform them of the problem and request that they remove the spyware from my computer. However, they were unresponsive and did not take any action to rectify the situation.As a result of their actions, I have suffered financial losses and a great deal of stress and inconvenience. I am deeply concerned about the safety and security of my personal information and feel that SHeerID has put me at risk.I request that SHeerID take immediate action to remove the spyware from my computer and compensate me for any damages I have suffered as a result of their actions. I would also like the BBB to investigate this matter and take appropriate action to prevent this from happening to other consumers.with the Image below you can see that they stated that they know what computer im using on studocu withut my permission
