      Sheer ID is, in my option, unable to service its customer, ******* in any meaningful capacity. I am a student and would like the student discount for ******* Premium but due to Sheer ID's involvement, I am unable to make this simple purchase. I have sent them my, student ID, verified student email, my class schedule, and my official tuition bill. None of these documents were accepted. In the past, to get a student discount, all I would need to do is verify my student email. Now I have to send multiple personal documents, just to be rejected. I will not be purchasing ******* Premium because SheerID will not allow me to do so. Businesses should not be able to say "We offer student discounts" if SheerID is involved.

      We apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced. SheerID is a third-party company that assists solely with the verification process, and we partner with many retailers that have unique sets of guidelines for their exclusive offers. At this time, ******* requires SheerID to see a school-issued document that shows current enrollment in classes and confirms the students full name, school name, and a current date. As these guidelines are not set by SheerID, we are unable to provide exceptions or make alterations to them.


      That said, as no email address was provided, we were unable to see if a support request was submitted to our secure ticketing system. However, do note that all documentation provided to SheerID is instantly purged from our system upon completion of a request, and it is no longer able to be viewed afterwards. Additionally, SheerID is unable to accept the use of an email address as verification for an offer. Instant verification is not a guarantee, and if individuals are not instantly verified, documentation is required to support the information as entered on the verification form.


      We recommend that you reach out to our support team at ****************************************** and include your documentation that supports the above required information. Once your documentation is received via email, our support team will be able to review it and further assist. If a mistake was made by our review team, the email team would be able to rectify this upon receipt of your documentation.

      The complaint is SheerID is lieing about the military verification process cannot be done more than once every 30 days and that is a requirement by the ************************ I called the resort 2 times and they said they do not have a requirement like that. They said I can use every week if I want to. Yet SheerID will still not give me the military discount code.

      I submitted school verification documents online to this company for a student discount to ***** I went through the STUDENT BEANS APP that references multiple businesses/ websites to get student discounts. I am a 4th-year law student, a single mother at 50 yrs old. I followed the steps and procedures that SHEER ID required for a coupon code. I was sent a few response emails stating my info wasn't current. I sent a current copy of my school tuition, verification letter, screen school of my school portal, and my school ID. The last response from SHEER ID said I had altered the documents and they would not give me a coupon code for ***** I cant believe I was falsely accused of altering my school documents.

      It appears ****** Fi uses Sheer ID to verify documents. I have submitted my USCG documents to Sheer ID to verify my deployment and job and they have continued to ignore my request. They also have no live agent to speak to and appear very incompetent when reviewing documentation. I pay money for my **************************** plan and they have been refusing to acknowledge or reach out to me in the form of a phone call of actual email. It appears others have had trouble with this buisness in the past. Im starting to think its a made up scam buisness.

At this time, ****** Fi sets the eligibility guidelines for their offer, and SheerID, as a third-party verification company, must follow them as they are provided to us. ****** Fi currently extends their offer to Active/Reserve enlisted military members who are currently stationed overseas. As a merchant mariner, you would not currently be eligible for the offer per the guidelines provided to SheerID, and we will not be able to assist with your verification at this time.       I am rejecting this response because: As an active *************** I leave the country for months on end so that,

      you can have access to your iPhones, your ********* lattes and drive your cars and use the fuel that is in 

      them. Without the *************** your next trip to ******* you would find empty shelves. I also hold secret clearance and work

      part time on vessels that conduct operations to keep you safe at night. I would ask ****** fi to kindly reconsider or sheer ID to

      extend this curtesy.

      I have tried to verify my veteran status with this company multiple times and have received error messages each time. This company provides a service to ********** to authenticate my veteran status. The company will not respond so I am unable to receive my veterans discount which ********** offers.       This business purportedly provides verification status for entitlement to certain purchase discounts such as student, veteran, teacher's discounts. My issue with this service is that they failed to verify my status as a student and continue to ask for documents that my school, which is strictly online, does not provide. I provided the documentation I have as well as provided the contact info to the school where they could easily verify my status to no avail so this service's incompetence is costing me money.

      SheerID is currently required to see a school-issued document that confirms your current enrollment in classes and contains your full name, school name, and a current date. Our review team noted that the original documents received were screenshots of emails, which are not currently supported documents for verification purposes. We understand that some schools are entirely online and we are happy to accept other documents, besides emails, that show the required information. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

      I would like to access the student discounts for Spotify, however your system does not recognise the institution that I am studying at.My needs as a student are perfectly the same as someone attending the universities you find 'eligible'. I do not understand why there needs to be an eligibility criteria to access student discounts, we're all still students.Whether I'm studying a diploma, certificate or degree, I am still studying nonetheless. I hope you can rectify this as I can imagine there would be a lot of people going through pathways to get to university. I attend *******************************.Thanks!

      I was advised to reach out to SheerID by FirstNet customer service and management to reverse your decision on my first responder status as FirstNet recognizes me (*************************) based on my job as an electric field utility technician. I received a reply from ****************************************** that they do not help with FirstNet verification, which is not accurate after speaking with ******************** I am an electrical field utility worker for *************************** based in *******, **, which is a subcontractor for ************* companies (e.g. Eversource, ************* and ************* Utilities, etc). I should be verified and recognized as my daily responsibilities include utility power line ************************, as well as natural disaster restoration. Every day I directly work with utility companies in response to Natural Disasters and restoration of electric utilities as well as other emergency situations involving downed live utility lines. For example, when power is out due to a hurricane such as ***, I am the one living in a man camp in ** restoring power, and removing downed lines so rescuers/EMS/Fire/EMT can reach people in their homes. According to SheerID, my "job title" is not eligible despite being exactly what IS eligible. As someone who puts their life on the line, literally, daily to ensure public safety and a working grid necessary for essential workers (which I am), I am appalled at the customer service and effort spent just to justify my verification.
