0 follow up. The doctor said he would do referrals for mental health for me. What he actual should of said is that I had to find providers and then he'd sign off on that provider. 0 help. If you don't need pills I don't think these people are there to help.Zoom Care

Hi ***,
I hope this message finds you well. I want to sincerely apologize for the negative experience you encountered following your recent visit to ZoomCare.
When a referral for an external specialist is created, our clinic staff explains the referral process before you leave the clinic. This process includes encouraging patients to contact their insurance provider to determine which provider or facility is in their plan network. Once youve identified where youd like to be seen, we ask that you provide that information to our ********************** so they can forward your referral and relevant chart notes accordingly. We deeply regret if we did not inform you of this process proactively. Navigating the healthcare system can be challenging, and we strive to minimize any added frustration. We understand that dealing with referrals, insurance coverage, and finding the right specialists can be overwhelming, especially when you're already managing your health concerns. Our goal is to provide clear guidance and support at every step of the process to ensure you feel informed and empowered. We recognize that each patient's journey is unique, which is why we encourage patients to confirm which specialist they'd like to be seen by to ensure it is the best fit for your specific needs. On 10/03/2024, you contacted us to express your concerns. We attempted to call you back to assist with the referral process; when you didn't answer, we responded to your initial message with the aforementioned steps. We would still be more than happy to help you access your referrals or send them to a facility of your choice.
Please know that your feedback has been documented and will contribute to ongoing discussions about improvements within our organization. We are committed to ensuring that incidents like these are addressed and that our patients feel valued and respected during every interaction.
If theres anything specific youd like us to address or if you have additional details to share, please reach out directly at ******************************** Your experience matters to us, and we are dedicated to providing Beyond Better care.
Thank you for your understanding. I appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.Review fromPavel P

1 starOne of the worst "billing/medical" experiences. I want to be able to share my invoices on here to show how they obviously recoded things to move numbers around. There is not an option to do so. Essentially Zoomcare billing team recoded my invoice a couple of times to the point of trying to confuse me. I paid my Med Cost of $32 before I left my appointment. I receive my invoice and that same $32 was added back into my total amount owed. Initially the total for my visit was $674.96, To date I have made:4 payments of $125 = $500 1 payment of $100 = $100 1 payment of $32= $32 total = $632 I also received a $***** adjustment (credit) which should have been added into my total amount paid. 632 + ***** = $707.41 total amount of credit & payments to be applied toward my $674.96 total.I am owed money.....Their billing team is trained to stonewall you, I asked to speak to a supervisor and the billing associate with an argumentative tone said that they do not do that.....It doesn't really surprise me how awful these companies are but this company should be audited. Some of Zoomcare's patients have formal education and the know how to read when a bill is being shifted around. If I can escalate this to a BBB Specialist I would like to do so. This has been a very difficult experience.Review fromYour mamma Y

1 starThey are training people with absolutely no experience or little to no medical knowledge to perform their x-rays, which is very concerning and possibly exposing patients and staff to more radiation than thisReview fromToscha F

1 starI went to the ***************** location. It was 620. There was no one waiting. The doctor was finishing up with a patient. She told me I couldnt be seen because they close at 7. I am from out of town and had to walk to them. She told me I would have to wait til 9 and go to a different location 15 minutes away. Very inconsiderate girl and only worried about getting off of work. I repeatedly asked if they were open til 7 and wasnt the doctor just with one patient. She didnt give two s**** What goes around comes around.Review fromAngela A

5 starsZoomCare provides a vital healthcare need in our current system. If you do not want to wait in an Emergency Room and also pay the *** insurance, ZoomCare provides that place. Even if a hospital ***** is needed, they streamline your care and get you straight into a local ** without the triage and wait. The fees they offer are for full service! Where can you receive an MRI, CT, Bloodwork and an Emergency *********** for under $600? My last ** ***** was over $4500 and I have good insurance. Now that I live within the range of a ZoomCare, I am never nervous about having excellent, convenient and affordable care nearby.Review fromMelinda M

1 starAvoid at all costs!!! I went here for a general check up and discussed my weight due to gaining some weight recently (among other check up items since I was hoping to find a new Dr in the area I just moved to) and the provider decided to code my visit as weight loss so NEITHER of my TWO health insurances would cover it. Once it was denied, they just charged my card on file for $335. Originally, I thought it was a coordination of benefits issue so we contacted both insurances and Zoom Care multiple times each just to have them tell us it will take 6-8 weeks to go through properly. Now 5 months after the checkup visit, I am finding out they put in the wrong code for the visit and they say they have nothing they can do about it. I do not write reviews ever but I felt the urge after this annoyance and hope someone can learn from my review to avoid these scammers.Review fromMichelle U

1 starDont go to any zoomcare. I got misdiagnosed, was misled about the cost of services, found out Im left with lifelong scars now, and was charged an additional $150 for a test that had the result of lab error. Feel free to do here to waste your time, energy, money, and health.Review fromDanielle D

1 starThey don't even bother to bill your insurance, over charge you, and when you can't pay the ridiculous amount RIGHT AWAY, they immediately send you to a very predatory debt collector. DO NOT USE THIS "SERVICE"It is NOT medical care, its a scam disguised as a medical clinc.Review fromJenn W

1 starWent for a visit in August of 2022, they led me to believe they took my insurance. I received a bill in April 2023, 8 months after service, saying that they did not take my insurance and I was responsible in full for the bill. This put me outside of the appeals window for my insurance company and outside of the time to put in a claim with my travel insurance. When I reached out for help with them they offered no explanation as to why it took 8 months to send a bill. A invoice was provided only after further inquiry. My credit card was charged within 24 hours of sending out the initial email, leaving no time for me to fully inquiry about the bill before it was paid.
