**** the salesman told us many times there were absolutely no problems with this Suburban. We put ******* down over the phone because he said it would probably sell the next day, when we were driving to ******** to see it, about 450 miles from *****. When we arrived the ******** was knocking a ********************** said it was nothing. **** reassured us !On the way home, as soon as we got up to 70mph the Suburban started vibrating, wandering all over the road, the check engine light came on, It was a long way home driving this thing. The next morning I checked the Suburban out, it used 1 full quart of oil in 450 miles. It did not leak oil, or show smoke coming out. I contacted the salesman and told him what was going on, I told him he sold us an oil burner, and he lied about the condition of this truck, said it was perfect and everything was in perfect running condition. It had oversized tires , so I bought a new set of tires at ******* dollars to try and help the wandering. **** said to take it in to a mechanic, and let him know how it goes. So I took it in for an inspection. The brakes were bad, the knock sensors were bad, the front shocks are bad, transmission leak, and to top it off, the rings are bad in the engine. It needs a rebuild on the engine ! I was charged another ****** for this. We have the documentation from the repair shop. I can email you a copy, since this siite would not accept the file. **** then said oh, I will help with the brakes! We paid ****** dollars for a Suburban with a bad engine, and this salesman pawned it off onto us, and then secretly charged us ****** for nothing. That is half the price of a new car ! He lied to us all the way. This should be theft by deception. This business needs to make this right, or I will go on a campaign to make sure the whole country knows about this. They need to help us buy an engine. Money on top of more money for a bad Suburban. We gave our savings and took out a loan for this, this is devastating.Business response

I have read this complaint and I am providing everything you should need to see that ****************** isn't being truthful, and hasn't even proven what he claims is true. ****************** expressed to me he was a mechanic and knows these vehicles inside and out. He asked me if I had any other people interested in the vehicle and I told him I do which was the truth there were several people inquiring about this vehicle. He asked me how the vehicle looked and ran I told him its a great looking rig and runs fine. I had absolutely no reason to think otherwise. He asked what it would take to hold it I said a deposit is necessary to hold any vehicle as sold. So he gave me a deposit. He came the next day inspected it for at least a half hour maybe longer, then he drove it for at least the same amount of time. He told me its a great vehicle drove fine there was a small ticking sound at original cold start but it went away this is a normal thing as the oil needs to disburse through the engine. He agreed the noise went away and said it drove great no issues! we went over all the documents and I offered to go over extended service contracts with him and he declined any warranties or service contracts stating again he can fix anything on the rig, we proceeded to do paperwork I collected the remaining balance owed we shook hands he drove away with his wife following in a different vehicle. Not once did he call or message me until nearly 500 miles later after he was already home. You would think if it were as bad as he makes it sound he would have turned around or at least called me to let me know something isn't right. I got his email & i responded what it may be often people get all worked up over minor issues. he kept being hostile telling me Im a this & that finally I said hey were assuming things just take it to a reputable mechanic shop and have it checked out. They couldn't hear the knocking the vehicle wasn't smoking there was no check engine light there was a knock sensor code not for a bad motor and just read the emails ive attached and the information as well and you will see exactly whats going on. I offered to help but if it wasn't a $10k brand new motor he wasn't hearing it. i offered to address any issues necessary and make sure that vehicle was up the same standard as a 23yr old vehicle with 127+k miles should be. he was rude kept making ridiculous accusations and was hostile and disrespectful the entire time. then said not to contact him again when he wasnt able to bully me. he still hasnt proven anything at all. I never had any problem making sure the vehicle was up to the standard a 23yr old suburban w/127k because that's what he purchased. Please see the emails.
I ask that this be dismissed as false and noted the customer lied and was very disrespectful hostile and wouldnt even let us try to help.
Best Regards!

I am rejecting this response because: This salesman is (lying again), he is the one that is dishonest. He is just trying to cover his lies ! I did say I know these vehicles well, and I do, but I am no certified mechanic. I have documentation (a report) from the mechanic's shop here in ********. It says the vehicle has BAG RINGS.It also said, bad front shocks, bad front brakes, which I have changed and have proof, I HAVE PROOF, this salesman is lying , and STILL lying. If I had a vehicle that cost ******** with a GOOD ENGINE, WE ALL WOULD NOT BE HERE. I did not tell ********** wanted *****. dollars for repair, They could at least have offered a couple thousand to go in on a rebuilt engine for it, but no, they can't let a disabled customer get away with a working vehicle. Instead, make the customer pay for bringing this all out into the open. This salesman told us both this vehicle had NO PROBLEMS. Now he lies.
He only cares about himself, even if it means throwing customers under the bus. He told us over the phone that it ran great, I asked him. I was skeptical putting down the ******* HE ASKED FOR. Then we get there, it seemed ok, and he assured us IT RAN GREAT !
On the way home we had ENOUGH problems, yes, but I had NO IDEA, how bad it really was. IT USED A QUART OF OIL ! I took it in to a reputable shop like he said to do-I Have all of his communication on email and text, It cost us another ****** to get this inspection, THEY SAID ON THE PAPERWORK THE RINGS ARE BAD IN TWO CYLINDERS. I have the documentation. How am I lying ? I am only concerned with the engine, I know vehicles have some issues, BUT HE ASSURED US OF A GREAT RUNNING 2001 SUBURBAN FOR ******** DOLLARS ! Then I paid another ******* to put the right sized tires on it to keep it driving correctly.
It is not bad enough this man scams us out of more than ******** dollars, he then lies about it, and slanders his customers to cover his tracks. These are the facts- we needed a good vehicle- he assured us of this, or we would not have put ******* dollars down- over the phone. When we got there, things changed.
When that truck hit 70 miles per hour, it started vibrating, wandering, check engine light, and other issues- THE MAIN ISSUE IS, HE SOLD US A ******** VEHICLE WITH A BAD ENGINE, I didn't write the report, a reputable shop concluded that. I did know using a quart of oil in 450 miles was bad ! THAT IS PROOF.
The only thing this man offered to do was help with the brakes. The he wants me to risk driving this thing back to ********, so they can look at it. He already told us it went though a rigorous inspection, and the fixed everything ! Yea. The grease fittings underneath this truck were covered in dirt, then painted over.
I am sick and disgusted with this whole mess. We are in a world of hurt with this engine, and this man is not done, making us pay.

I bought a truck and purchased an extended warranty and a part has failed on that truck that is covered under the warranty, the warranty declined the repaires due to a part that was on the truck at time of purchasing, the warranty company then proceeded to tell me that the warranty I was sold will not cover anything on the truck due to the aftermarket modification that has been done to the truck witch is the way I bought the truck, the sales representative assured me that the truck would still be covered under warranty, I haven't owned the truck a full year and the dealership is refusing to refund me the money I spent on the warranty and or paying for the repairsBusiness response

Good morning,
************ purchased a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado from Jordan Motorsports on 7/28/2023. ************ informed us he was a mechanic and knew these trucks very well, as well as the aftermarket modifications that had been previously installed on the vehicle. He also informed us that he was well versed in the service contract field from a service contract administrator specialist's point of view as he had dealt with them numerous times as his profession demanded. The truck was advertised very clearly and with photos of the modifications done to it before ************ called us with interest in the vehicle. When ************ came to our location to pick up the truck he also went through it thoroughly prior to leaving the dealership. ************ was provided with all of the necessary paperwork to make an informed decision regarding the service contract he elected to purchase which includes any exclusions to the contract which may be applicable. ************ read through the policy coverage and was happy with the contract at that time. I have attached said paperwork to this reply. There were never any promises made albeit verbal or written regarding this service contract covering specifics as ************ has alluded to and we feel that he is simply taking out his frustration with the service contract company on Jordan Motorsports since we sold the truck to him and he is upset that the 21 year old truck he purchased is having an issue a year after purchasing. Furthermore, the service contract states very clearly in section 7 C. that if it is determined by a service shop that a part failure was caused by aftermarket parts, it would not be covered. It does not state that the vehicle would not be covered at all simply due to having aftermarket parts. ************ also signed paperwork stating and was aware of the fact that he was purchasing a used truck as is, yet is now expecting Jordan Motorsports to pay for the cost of repairs made to the truck a year later which is unreasonable. While we do sympathize with the fact that ************ is having an issue with this vehicle he needs to understand that he cannot expect Jordan Motorsports to be responsible for repairs to this truck for the rest of its life. ************ called us at the dealership approximately 3 weeks ago stating his frustrations with the service company and at that time we advised him to send a cancellation request to us at Jordan Motorsports so we could forward the information to the service contract company to start the process. As of today, we have yet to receive a cancellation request from him and cannot cancel the contract for ************ without it. **************** lien holder will receive the refund of the contract upon cancellation as is required by law.
Thank you for your time and attention in this matter, please feel free to reach out if you need any further information.
