1 starWe rented a $460/night beach house at Lincoln City last weekend through Air B&B that was managed by Meredith. Upon arrival we could not enter the home with the entry code provided. (there was also a lock box and a key code garage door opener, that we did not have codes for). We called Meredith for help many, many times and could not get through to anyone until one of us tried new rental sales. Shockingly, we got an answer right away. After explaining several times and being on hold several times and 45 minutes later. We stood outside for over an hour until we were finally given the lock box code and we were able to enter. A Maintenence person stopped by later and told us that the electronic entry lock was not operational and he had passed that information on apparently to everyone except the customers and the person on the phone. ********************** offered us $100 for our trouble with the statement We dont usually do thisOn the other hand Air B&B has texted and called us multiple times in an effort to satisfy us and increased the credit to us. Absolutely horrible experience. My husband and I - both seniors- were enjoying our stay when Meredith Lodging called and accused us of improper internet usage and said: received a complaint that your ************************* was recently used to improperly copy, share or stream copyrighted content, such as music, movies, videos or software, using peer-to-peer or "torrenting" software.What the heck? I called Meredith, who had also left a voice mail, and they said we should Stop whatever we were doing- They have a smart tv here, where numerous past guests are still logged into the system; and by the way, what does this even mean? They would not explain, or could not explain, but to accuse us of something improper and/offensive? What is wrong with these people?Meredith Lodging LLC

We rented an expensive property in ************* and had an awful experience. The property was dirty upon arrival, moldy food in the trash, food on the towels, hair covering the bathroom floors and poorly made beds. I contacted Meredith Lodging and they offered me a $100 credit for the cleanlines (funny thing was that we paid a $300 cleaning fee ??). The ** went out as well and it took 3 emails and 2 phone calls for them to get anyone to even respond about it getting fixed. It was out for 2 days and they offered me a $100 credit for that. The furniture in the property was also awful, mismatched and sparse, it felt like a college rental house. It wasnt anywhere near what we expected for an almost $700/night property. I asked to cancel my stay when the ** was out and they refused to refund me. This rental agency is a scam. Do not rent from them!!Meredith Lodging LLC

1 star******! ******! ******! Especially booking with them through ******. They FALSELY advertise properties!!! They have completely ruined our trip back home because they will not allow people to even visit us! Our family is so distraught because we are supposed to be able to introduce our sons new wife to our family because they cannot travel to be at his wedding due to medical issues and this will probably be the last time we get to see our grandmother. They said this home is for LARGE groups and then proceeded to tell us that we cant have people visiting us. They are not staying just each family coming by to meet our newest family member. After we pointed out that it clearly states this home is for large groups and provided all the proof they are falsely advertising they are not willing to refund or transfer our booking to a home that is in fact for large groups! They are completely ruining our time to come home in over 5 years and no one is holding them accountable to make this right. Now I see all these hundreds of bad reviews and complaints from other people and nothing is done about it. They think they dont have to be held accountable for falsely advertising but there are laws to protect consumers also. Look into it and lets make them make things right! Well the house was as advertised and had all the amentities described. Honestly, the only complaint we had was that with there being no A/C the fans were dated and we could not get one to work. Otherwise, this house met our expectations. We had no issues getting into the home because we got the access code 2 days prior. It worked right away. We did not need to contact the lodging company at all because it was as advertised. We had a great stay and looked at more homes advertised with this same company and will probably rent from them again. Thanks.Meredith Lodging LLC

1 starAWFUL! Checked into a 5 bedroom house and was told 10 minutes before checking in that we could not use the bbq because it was *****. I get to the house and look at the *** and it's completely disintegrating - no way this just happened. Meredith Lodging said they couldn't do anything until they talked to the owner. Nothing was done the entire stay.We put a load of laundry in and the washing machine jerked so hard it almost pulled the plug from the wall. We took all the clothes out and put a few pieces in and restarted the washer, same thing. I sent an email to Meredith Lodging and they did nothing. 10 people in a house with no washing machine! I talked to the person at Meredith Lodging and I was given a big sorry for the inconvenience and they would give me a $100 credit for a future stay. I said you are a Property Management company and aren't doing anything. No repair man, the house needs a new bbq (which had been ***** for a LONG time).Here's what they sent me:Thank you for your patience and for providing detailed feedback regarding your recent stay at ****** 9 in *********I want to extend my sincerest apologies for the inconveniences you encountered with the out of order *** during your stay and the washing machine. 1 starDO NOT RENT FROM MEREDITH LODGING!! Grossly Dirty and NO response! Rented a beautiful property but upon arrival the dishes all had food residue on them, master bathroom garbage overflowing with dirty diapers (ewwwwww!), some kind of brown liquid dripping down the wall in the bathroom, white baseboards with black with dirt, outdoor furniture was thick with dust, 3 vehicles in our party and we could not access the gate until the last day we were told that the combination had changed and that was NOT by ******** Lodging folks! Reported to ******** Lodging and NO response! Repeatedly reported and then was told they didn't receive my complaint even though my complaint was attached to the letter they sent me!! Absolutely HORRIBLE communication $200 cleaning fee which isn't bad IF IT WAS CLEANED!! They did offer us $75 off for our next stay, absurd!!! Who in their right mind would stay again at one of their properties with zero response or empathy regarding your rental experience after they take your money!!Review fromTammy R

I debated between 1 and 2 stars. Its really myself Id give the 1 star to for not researching enough. When Meredith was replying to my communications through AirBnB, I was naive enough to believe it was a real person. Not this excessive fee charging corporation. Beware the buyer as the saying goes. We rented what turned out to be a sterile empty home paying twice the resort fee per person per day, receiving erroneous checkin information and no one to respond to our attempts to figure things out. And for the joy of your $250+ cleaning fee we were told to load the dishes, wash the towels, and strip the beds, all on the generic sign hanging on the fridge. Lessons learned. Dont hire Meredith to manage your homeand dont rent from Meredith unless you want to be taken to the cleaners for a clean out.Meredith Lodging LLC

Rented thru Airbnb they made us book the entire day before for arrival for a 8am check in the next day bc we traveling overnight with infants.One of the children got flu was vomiting in car seat, we had to cancel . They will not give any refund of any amount of the $2000 we paid. The response to me and Airbnb Ambassador was no refund of any amount, stick to cancelation policy and had re listed rental with in hour. Unfortunately, due to our cancellation policy that is stated in our rental agreement that is agreed to upon booking - no refund is due. We see that travel insurance was not purchased, but perhaps you have trip protection with your credit card company? We recommend reaching out to Airbnb with any further questions or concerns as the reservation was booked via their site. I initially rented a house that I had used before. Soon after I was told there was a safety issue at the home and had to select a different home or different dates. A different home was selected and was promised a refund for the difference as well as a complimentary early check in. When we arrive at the check in time we could not get into the home. We reached out and were told we had arrived too early. We had to explain the situation again before we were let in. The refund was supposed to be processed in 5-10 bus days. After 10 days I reached out I was told the first person did not submit it properly and I would need to wait another 5-10 days for a refund. I let them know this has been a really frustrating experience and was told a manager would email me. Nearly a week later I still have not received contact.Meredith Lodging LLC
