I own a 2016 *** **** I took it in to *** of ***** to get the catalytic converter changed supposedly they replaced it $2,700.00 later, however one year later the catalytic converter went out again they refused to help me or make any changes they said I had to pay out of pocket again for another new Cadillac converter the manager would not come out to help me or discuss the situation. The only thing they did was hand me a card and tell me to deal with corporate office they were rude unhelpful and did not want anything to do with me.Review from Amanda P

This place is a joke, first the sales guy I dealt with from the beginning started the process for me to buy a vehicle telling me the only two certified and within my price range were part of a tax refund special they were doing for people who had gotten their refund and looking to purchase a vehicle so the 2013 dodge advenger SE I ended up with was one of the two and it was supposed to be delivered to me. He then dropped the ball for two days and wouldn't text me back. I ended up calling saying I already got insurance on it, I'm coming to make the purchase and get the car, I dealt with 1 other guy and he left so when we got there another sales guy had to catch up and help me, all for me tonlearn the first guy wasn't supposed to sell me the car for that price it was actually a couple thousand more, then they tried to tell me I couldn't buy it due to someone else was willing to buy it full price, I told them that wasn't fair, I'm a mama with 3 girls 2 of which have a heart issue, I needed a reliable vehicle. They said the check engine light was for an O2 sensor and it wasn't, it's an EVAP not a Pcode for O2 sensor. The brakes were already ready to be changed and the front tires were less then oregon law, called to see if they would make it right after changing the other code the *** solenoids and they wouldn't call back. Now after getting further into it the alternator and many other parts are scrap parts and marked as such, the alternator now needs replaced as well as the power steering pump and once again I'm left with a vehicle that was "certified" but they cleared the check engine light and lied about the car. The fuel neck is also loose and new gas cap didn't change EVAP... I'm just at a loss and don't understand why dealerships lie and can't be honest specially watching a mother and her children get in the car and leave. And never called me back to talk about it.It sputtered 20 miles down the road... thought it was low gas till I filled up but it hasn't changed.Review from Calvin B

went in to get a car they ran my credit and told me that i was only approved for a $3000 above ***** blue book $6000 mazda 6 2006 so i got it was ok for about 5 min off the lot then the check engine light came on and code after code kept coming up after i dropped $4000 to have it fixed they call me to tell me that the bank is not going to be keeping my loan after having it in the shop for three months. they told me that the car was a good car but they lied and then wanted it back to resale after i fixed hat i thought was the reason why it was acting up but the real reason is the car is not running is it has a bad motor the pistons were cracked and the valve cover was cracked camrod just about broken and they sold this to me knowing it and just erasing the codes and sold it then to make more money they say to the customer that the bank will not keep the loan and that they have to bring it back then try to get them in a better vehicle and just add the remaining amount on the bill to rip off the same person. i posted this story on ******** and received over *********************************************** the area with the different vehicles. i hope they get what is coming and they pay off the full bill as well my bills that i owe due to not being able to work because the car i bought from them was a piece of c***Review from Deana C

Power KIA service department is not honest nor capable. They have had our car for 8 months after "fixing" it and returning it to ** with the same exact issue. We brought it back to the service department 24 hours after picking it up and was told they hadn't checked to see if the repair they did would fix the problem. Excuse me, what do you mean you didn't keep the car for a day to ensure your fox solved the battery drain issue? We left it with them and here it is 8 months later. Zero to no communication, they do not return calls. A few months ago we opened a complaint with *** corporate and the letter we received said they were unable to get in touch with Power KIA of Salem. How is the acceptable? 2 weeks ago my husband got a text about a new problem they'd found and when he called to get more info they didn't answer. My husband has texted the man in the service department to get more info and no response. Outside of this being the worst customer service we've ever experienced there are so many recalls which no one was aware of at this location. We had to tell the service department that we'd recieved a recall notice to which they responded they didn't know of any recalls. So, if you'd like to pay your monthly auto payment for 8 months but not have the car *** can do that for you! If you buy a *** from Power KIA I sincerely suggest you invest in walking shoes. Don't be lured by the "affordability" because in the long run you'll pay in so many ways.Review from Diana N

This place is dishonest and untrustworthy. I purchased a 35k Dodge **** diesel on Sunday 11/05/23. Noticed a noise from the drivers side front tire on the way home. Took it back on Monday 11/06/23. Their first question Did you buy the extended warranty? They wanted me to bring it back Wednesday, but it was unsafe to drive and I had to leave it there. Nothing had been done as of Thursday and they gave me zero answers information. I went in on 11/13/23 and my truck is still not done. They claim it passed the safety inspection and my bearing on the drivers side was shot in 10 miles driving it home. So shot the wheel couldve come off. They sent me off the lot in an unsafe vehicle and have accepted no responsibility for their negligence. Im paying insurance on a truck I didnt even have in my possession for 24 hours. They didnt notify the warranty company until Friday 11/10/23. Maybe that makes it look like more time between the purchase and the problem, but the warranty company has to inspect due to the short time frame. In the mean time I dont have my truck that I need. They have proven to be dishonest and untrustworthy. As is no warranty does apply to selling an unsafe vehicle.Review from Chepe L

I wish I would have came on here sooner. It seems to be a going trend that power auto group lies, deceives, and does not give a c*** about what they sell on their lot. Sales manager will even tell you after purchasing a vehicle that your stupid for doing so. They claim to be their for you, in return making it worse. Would not recommend to anyone. I've had nothing but problems with the 2 vehicles I purchased in June. One I haven't been in possession of since July. I continue to make payments and pay insurance while your service department can't keep up. I finally got ahold of a ******* and seems like we are making some headway, but I sure don't feel it's right! I wouldn't send my worse enemy to do business here.Review from Alfonso A

Love working here. I bought a car from Mazda last year and got the best customer service ever! I like the transparency that Power operates from and it is something that is worth a lot in this industry.Review from Lisa N

Rant for the day:I sold cars for POWER KIA a few years ago. Since then I have referred tons of friends who have purchased there as well. I have owned 3 Kias myself. Yesterday my car was struggling to start. I called *********** and told them its going to be towed there and I believed it was either an alternator or fuel injector pump. I also confirmed my car is still under the 5 yr. 50k warranty. The guy I talked to said they couldnt scope it until Saturday and wouldnt be able to work on it until Wednesday. Fine. Called Kia ******** and had it towed. Then I called POWER KIA to confirm it arrived. Spoke to the absolute dumbest person I have ever talked to. She told me it wasnt scheduled until 3 months from this Wednesday and might be scoped in the the next two weeks. Needless to say I was ******. But she was too dumb to take it out on. I then received a call from a different woman who talked down to me, which I love so much. She informs me that if the parts arent covered after they scope the car, the cost of the scope will be $175. I informed her thats not happening. Im still covered under the 5yr. 50k warranty. She tells me oh it may not be. I said I worked for Power Kia for two years and have owned 3 kias and I understand the warranty very well, and they will be fix my car. She was snarky and well just see about that. So I said since my car is dead for 3 months Id like to request a loaner. To which I was told shed put me on the list, I was number 16 in line. FINAL NOTE:I WILL NO LONGER RECOMMEND POWER KIA TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS OR FAMILY.Review from Darren B

First off, I have no complaints about the technician or the work that was performed. The reason for my poor rating is 100% tied to the question of payment. As part of purchasing all 4 tires at the dealership, I was guaranteed free tire rotations for the life of the tires. However, following this rotation, I was informed that the dealership was under new ownership, and they were no longer honoring that benefit. I told the technician that new ownership does not void a written contract, and she immediately removed the charge. My bigger concern is that I'm sure I'm not the only one being told this lie. Others may not have a knowledge of contract law and may end up paying for services they are legally entitled to receive free of charge. This unethical behavior by the manager (as I'm sure it wasn't the technician's idea) is despicable and reflects poorly on the ****** brand. With so many options available, I can guarantee Power Auto Group will never again have my business, and I will actively warn my friends and family to stay away.
