      i purchased a vehicle in NOV of 2023 and driveway financed it for 72 months ..i made ALL 4 payments on time and RE-Financed it with another lender ..NEW LENDER paid off in full on MARCH 25th 2024 ..its also been reported to ALL 3 credit bureaus as PAID in full ..I am owed a refund for an over payment that was made when it was paid ive called several times to find out WHY i havent received what is owed back to me as a refund ??? HAVE received several STUPID reasons ( account hasnt closed ?) YES IT HAS ITS showing on my credit report ..i NEED to give it time ?? NAH IF I WAS LATE I WOULD OWE A LATE FEE OR HAVE MY VEHICLE REPOSSESSED .** also GOING to report this issue to the *** banking department..i should think that driveway finance is governed by some LAWS pertaining to refunding customers money that is DUE to them in a timely fashion NOT when driveway feels like it ..and at this rate im pretty sure some kind of interest should be accruing on my refund instead of excuses as to what seems to be pure incompetence ? why NOT handle your business accordingly as driveway expects from each customer???

      This loan was Paid in FULL on 3/25/2024 I have called every MONDAY to inquire about MY refund. I have spoken to a different person each week and NO clear answers as to WHY im being made to wait for MONEY that is rightfully owed to me ..NO ONE is on the same page NO one has an answer 31 days AFTER the loan is satisfied..its been REPORTED to ALL 3 MAJOR credit bureaus as PAID IN FULL as of 3/25/2024 ..BUT STILL DRIVEWAY FINANCE WILL NOT CUT A CHECK FOR MY REFUND ??? SO expecting that they will contact me direct to take care of this matter is NOT acceptableive given them EVERY opportunity to TAKE care of this matter for the LAST 31 DAYS JUST people getting PAID to read from a script and PASS the buck literally !!!!  THIS has and WAS a nightmare from start to finish. IF this was vise versa and i was late i would owe exuberant late fees ..I cant collect late fees on MY money that  they are dragging their feet on refunding..SO 
      I am rejecting this response because they simply wont do whats right ?? They  ?? have NOT handled this in a professional manner or tried to do what is expected of a company of this size ..customer satisfaction is NOT a priority and it is a HUGE problem..word of mouth can be very detrimental

      No I purchased a vehicle at ******************* ****** and the finance department told me that Driveway Financial would lower my interest rate if I purchase the extended warranty. He showed me both monthly payments and one was with the warranty and one was without the warranty and explained how they were almost identical in price. Then he told me that the only way to get the lower interest rate was to purchase the warranty and that the prices were so close why would I not get the warranty. From what I read it is illegal to lower interest rate or offer an interest rate solely on the requirement of purchasing a warranty. I should have known when the person helping me would not provide any papers showing the differences besides a piece of paper he was handwriting all of the information on. During this sitting, I called my husband and my father to explain both options and then ultimately I felt like I had no option besides purchasing the warranty to get the lower rate. Driveway Financial has vehicles parked outside of ******************* ***** all the time, so Im unsure if they have any thing to gain through pushing loans towards that lender. And I am unsure if there is any relationship between driveway, Financial and Zrich the warranty company. Additionally, the person helping with the loan told me with an example that if the *** player went out, it would be covered and recently whenever I went in that was not covered. I ended up canceling the warranty plan after nine months and received a prorated amount. I truly do not want this to happen to anybody else, which is why I would like to file a formal complaint complaint complaint.

      I am rejecting this response because: I have conatcted driveway finance by phone directly. They refuse to answer any questions stating: your loan is handled by ****************** We cannot answer any further questions. Although Driveway Finance is reporting it to the credit bureau. I call ********* capital they say they cannot help me because they are simply helping collect payment for the loan and it is owned by Driveway finance. Also they do not report to the credit bureau only driveway finance will in this case. Making me call both of these companies sending me back and fourth mutiple times. Driveway Finance simply claims they cannot help or do anything. This is concerning as it relates to a loan and financial

      I sent a notice of subrogation and tendered a special deposit with instructions by way of postal money order via registered mail to settle all claims of an alleged auto loan debt to DRIVEWAY FINANCE CORPORATION CEO/CFO and my lawful tender was dishonored without a reason why or a law backing that particular reason why my lawful tender was not accepted. Now according to Trust Law I am exonerated as surety for the alleged debt and the alleged debt is paid in full due to my lawful tender instructions to settle the claim of alleged debt in full, furthermore since my tender was refused after it was sent to the man/woman charged with processing it I am no longer liable for the alleged debt. The only lawful money is gold and silver and I am not a meddling volunteer and I am not gifting this company floating rate notes and being an enemy of the state. 12 U.S.C. 411- ISSUANCE TO RESERVE BANKS; NATURE OF OBLIGATION; REDEMPTION. I also sent this company indentured trustee/trustee a registered security where I pay to the order to this company and I lawfully and legally rescinded DRIVEWAY FINANCE CORP. security interest. I believe there to be some security fraud going on within this company because the CEO/CFO havent returned my my registered securities nor have they balanced their books and brought the account to $0. Where are my registered securities? Are they being traded without my knowledge? This is unjust enrichment and if I have to I will file a lawsuit in a court of equity to get discovery. This is on top of the violations and fraud that I have found in the retail installment contract which I will have to arbitrate because of said violations i am able to exercise this right. I also pulled my UCC 11 and there is no lien in my name so I need answers since the CEO/CFO of DRIVEWAY FINANCE CORPORATION has not honored my remedies. I also sent this company a debt validation letter Im awaiting a response Equity regards as some what ought to be done.

      I am a brand new customer. The car is bought from a dealership in *******. I received a welcome letter from Driveway Finance Corporation with details on how to sign up online to make and manage payments. My first payment was due 03/17/24. I submitted my first payment 03/14/24. Today is 03/25/24 and payment has not been processed by Driveway Finance Corporation. I have called every day to ************ and upon being transferred to a representative thru the automated system, a song plays continuously with no answer. I have also left a message on their title message line, in attempts to get a hold of some one. The online account shows a payment was made in the payment history, yet it also states that a payment is overdue for the same payment. I have called my bank as well and they said that no attempt has been made to my account for this payment. I have put $3000.00 down for the loan.

      When I bought the car the first day I had problems. Back seat was damaged severely to the point that I couldn't let my kids in the back. Driveway fixed it after almost 30 days of constant argument. Also I complained about my brakes and they wouldn't fix it because of wear and tear issue. Now after 5 months I finally have a prove by *************** saying my calipers, rotors and brake pads in rear have to be changed due to a previous brake job done. Now I'm sitting with a huge bill to pay because of Driveway not being concerned about their customers and their safety. This needs to be followed up to the high steps and looked into deeper, because of poor quality inspection done by Driveway Corp.

Also, I have contacted equifax. They have all the information necessary to remove the fraudulent injuries.       I am reporting an issue with the accounts receivable department at Driveway *************** Despite having confirmation from my bank that my December payment was delivered to their ****** office, it was not processed. This resulted in an incorrect 30-day delinquency being reported to credit bureaus, causing my credit score to drop by nearly 100 points.I have contacted customer service on numerous occasions and provided them with bank documentation confirming the delivery, but the issue has not been resolved. Each time I contact them, I am forced to explain the situation again.I request that Driveway Financial Corp:Correct the inaccurate delinquency report on my credit report.Expedite the processing of my December payment and reflect it accurately on my account.

      I finally spoke with a supervisor named ******* employee ID ****** on 12/19/2024. *******, like the past 3 supervisors said that he would contact the accounts receivable department. However, ******* unlike the prior 2 supervisors called me back on 2/20/2024 and informed me that they can not find my check, I will need to put a stop on the check that I sent them, I will need to issue them a new check and that reporting me as 30 days late because they lost my check was correct. To reiterate: I have proof from my bank/bill pay that the check for 12/22/2023 was delivered by the US postal service to their ****** office where they receive payments. They received and processed the November payment prior to December and they received and processed the January payment after. I am being penalized and damaged financially because they have lost my payment, blamed me for it and reported me as 30 days late to the credit bureaus. I am adding to the documentation this statement of the latest interactions and the $29.50 stop payment fee that my bank charged.

      I reject this response for the following reasons:

      1. Lack of Legal Citation: The statement prohibiting work with the BBB lacks specific legal references. Without factual support, it appears intended to discourage investigation of the suspected credit reporting error.

      2. Ineffective Dispute Process: Despite multiple escalations and documented proof ***** delivery receipt) with their call center, the company insists the late payment remains due to a lost check. Requesting a repeat mail dispute seems like a stalling tactic to deter further communication.

      3. Failed Disputes with Credit Bureaus: Despite disputing the reported late payment with all three credit bureaus, they upheld the negative ***** As previously stated, the delivery receipt demonstrates the timely mailing of the payment, indicating the company's responsibility for the lost check and subsequent late fee. This is an attempt to shift blame to me, the customer, for their internal error.

      Driveway Finance Corporation cannot respond to consumer complaints via the Better Business Bureau as it is a public forum that does not allow Driveway Finance Corporation to keep information private.  Driveway Finance Corporation is governed by many federal and state privacy regulations that prohibit the sharing of information regarding relationships with consumers.

      It appears the consumer has contacted our offices directly as of today, 3/1/2024, and has sent information to our offices for review.  As always, the best way to submit disputes to our offices is in writing, as previously described in our response.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Driveway FInancial ************* called me stating that they were bill collectors and my account was 35 days past due, I did not call them this time. In addition to all the other contacts that I have had with Driveway Financial I had to re-explain my situation for the 100th time and escalate to a manager. I suppled more documentation on the re-issue of the payment for December '23 (that was lost by Driveway Financial's accounts receivible department in their ****** ***** office) as well as the current payment for February '24.

      I have had to pay $30 to stop the original payment for December '23 that Driveway FInancial can not find.

      I have had my good credit ruined by nearly 100 points because they reported me as paying late when they lost the payment.

      I have reissued them a new check for the December '23 payment.

      I continue in good faith to pay them dillegently every month without fail.

      They continue to hide behind unspecified Federal laws and rerout me to corespondence to try to sandbag and delay in the hope that I will give up.

      I WILL NOT GIVE UP! I WILL BE VERY VOCAL AND EVERYONE WILL KNOW ABOUT THIS!
