After reviewing my credit report I found that I had a collection in the amount of $198 from Receivable Management Services. I am not liable for this debt with Receivable Management Services and do not have a contract with them. They did not provide me with a copy of the original application validating an agreement to partnership with on another, neither have they provided a breakdown of fees including any collection costs and charges. For both these reason this is a violation of the Fair Credit Report Act and this item should be removed from my credit report immediately to avoid litigation.

Last summer, I received a parking ticket in Normandy, France. I tried to pay it, but *****, the police, and my hotel were unable to help me pay it. When I returned home, ***** (France) contacted me with a request to pay the ticket with a money order. I sent the money order to the address in France that was requested. Shortly after that payment, RMS LLC began hounding me to pay them the money for the ticket. Honestly or dishonestly, RMS LLC is using outdated (false) information to demand money from me. What is the solution to their predatory behavior? Thank you.

I recently noticed a collections account on my credit report from this company. I have been out of all debt besides my student loans for months now. I received nothing in the mail from this company. Nor have I received a phone call. It's clearly a scam and now on my credit report. It should be removed immediately and this company y should be investigated.

Company called me Feb 23, 2023 to request payment on behalf of their client, ***** Home Services. I am an office manager for an owner of a residential apartment complex in Hazleton, PA. I called ***** to request a technician ************** an appliance in a tenant's apartment. ***** technician came Dec. 14, 2022, fixed the appliance and charged my boss's **** of America credit card $186.71. ***** sent me a receipt detailing all services/parts/charges with the total charged and a zero balance. I explained to the *** collection agent there is a mistake and no money is due. They provided me with an email address and I emailed them the ***** receipt. I also emailed them a copy of my bosses **** of ******* credit card statement with the charge highlighted. I also took a screenshot of my boss's online bank's bill pay service showing the **** of ******* Bill was paid in full...which included payment to ***** for this charge. I then received a robo-response/acknowledgement email from RMS with a reference number (Ref # ************) and their 800 phone number. I called them on Feb 24 to follow up. They said they have not processed my inquiry and needed 24 hours to do so. It has been serval days and they have not contacted me and my follow-up calls are not getting me anywhere. These folks are trying to rip us off and better not initiate any legal action or report any delinquency to credit agencies on me personally since I am only an office worker paying bills with proof of payment. I want a letter from them stating this invoice has been paid in full and an apology for the time and inconvenience I've had to spend correcting their error. Nor shall the file any delinquency on my boss's company.

      Dear ************************,

Thank you for your letter to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and for providing us with an opportunity to respond. ***** Repair Services placed your account in our office for collections on February 7,2023.

On February 23, 2023, we contacted you in an effort to discuss the account and the repayment options available. You advised us that you already paid the balance on the day of service and requested no further contact from our office. In order to further investigate your dispute, our agent provided you with our email address at [email protected] to send proof of the payment. In addition, we stopped collections on your account at that time, preventing further contact from The Receivable Management Services LLC.

On February 24, 2023, you contacted our office and requested an update regarding your account, advising you submitted proof of your payment to the email address provided. Our agent informed you of the dispute process timeline, noting the documents you submitted may take 24-48 hours to be loaded in our system and they would then be submitted to ***** Repair Services for their review thereafter.

On February 28, 2023, you contacted our office, again asking for an update on your account and our agent advised that the matter is still under review. As a result of our internal review of your dispute, we closed your account in our office that same day.

On March 21, 2023, ***** Repair Services notified us they applied your payment to the account for the balance in full of $186.71. We have updated our records to reflect the paid status.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this matter. Should you wish to discuss the account further, please contact ***** Repair Services directly at ************.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

HOWEVER, I want to state for the record what a bunch of low life scum this collection agency. They refused to acknowledge the written proof submitted from ***** which directly supported our contention that this was a total scam on both ***** part and the collection agency to defraud us and scam us for monies already paid and were well documented.  They are second worse only to ***** Home Services which is one of the worst service providers I've ever used. Would not recommend ***** Home Services to my worst enemy.
