My wife & I hired KrisCoMehanical company to add a bathroom to our home, I took money out of my retirement savings to have this work done. We signed what we thought was a good faith contract and as the work started to progress we noticed how poor his work was, we paid him a third of his contract before he started, and we were paying him on a weekly basis, after approx. 7 weeks & and over $13,500.00 we sat down to talk about his work & he told us he wanted to get out of the contract, we asked for a portion of our money back & he said no, he has not given us anything back, we have since had 4 contractors out to our home to give us estimates on our bathroom and all of them were shocked at how bad the work was and all of them told us they would need to tear his work out & start from scratch. He did not get any township permits & his work is not up to our local township codes. He dumped buckets full of god knows what on our property. ( Which we also want removed) My wife & I are sick over this and want our money back but we now can't afford to have the work "re-done" without a re-imbursement of the money we paid him. We also paid out of our pockets to purchase the bathroom fixtures, floor & shower tiles, including the grout. We have pictures to show how truely bad his work is. We currently have to use what is left of our bathroom for our hygene, My wife & I are both in our 60's, not the best of health & feel we were taken advantage of. My wife has informed me that the plumbing he did is now leaking in my basement, And the water that we both shower in is hot & I have no way to turn the hot water down since the pipes are within a wall. Please help us. We were told to send him a certified letter explaining our concerns in which he has not responded to. I am sure I am missing some vital information, You can contact me anytime on my cell at ###-###-#### I have attached a few pictures but I am currently at work and have many more at home.

Yes I have had contact with the customer since things went south with the job. They voiced their concerns to me on a Monday and the only concern they had mentioned was how long the job was taking. Now the contract that they signed has no specific due date listed, I did say during the signing that my goal was 4-5 weeks. However my goal is to also win the lottery but that don’t make it reality. Issues do occur during a job. When we had sat down and they were worried about the length needed for completion we had come to an agreement of me finishing what was started and me returning the balance of $ 3,300.00. The very next day that verbal contract was breached and was told not to return to their house and that they were not giving me my tools back until I gave them money. I had to go there the following day with an officer to get my belongings and a report was made. They are saying they are unhappy with the work however the job wasn’t completed and no concerns were brought to my attention until after they told me not to return (this is all in texts that are saved by the way). So how could anything be addressed and or fixed if I was kicked off the job with no warning. Contract also states 2 days written notice before termination which is now another breach. So I do not agree with what has been submitted.

Also note that before work started they did ask about permits. It was made aware to them that it was in their court and they specifically said "they didn't plan on selling". At this point the permits was in their hands. I now know not to go by a homeowners word with this. I do know they had looked into permits because I have one text stating one is not needed in their township for a dumpster.
