As a preliminary response, **************** review does not explain - perhaps because he does not properly recall - prior to our Companys involvement in his project, ************** and **************** (**************** having coownership in the property) employed a separate and different company who performed the removal and demolition of materials within the home. This Company also packed and relocated the personal belongings of ************** from the first and second floors to the third floor of his home, necessary to perform their work.In addition, **************** review failed to explain that the work performed at his home by our Company was a result of an insurance claim where our Companys contracted scope of work with ************** and **************** was limited only to items included and approved by his insurance company. It should also be made known; ************** was not our main point of contact for the majority of the project due to medical reasons. Our Company dealt primarily with **************** and **************** sister. Due to his medical condition **************** involvement throughout the project was very limited and he was unable to visit the property while our Company performed the work. 1)Personal Items on Third Floor Again, the Company ********************************* hired to perform the removal and demolition of materials within the home, packed personal belongings and relocated those items to the third floor of the home. That Company was paid by *********************************** insurance company directly for this work. It was explained to ************** and **************** on several occasions, our Company was not obligated to unpack and relocate the items back down to the first and second floors of the home because the costs to perform that work was not included in our contracted scope of work with ************** and ****************. It is our understanding that the funds to unpack and relocate the personal belongings to the first and second floors had been paid to the company ********************************* engaged prior to engaging our Company to perform the repairs at the property. As a courtesy free of charge to *********************************, in an effort to assist in the process, on several occasions our Company incurred costs of relocating some of the personal belongings from the third floor but were unable to relocate the remaining items due to lack of space on the lower floors. To resolve **************** concern with the personal belongings remaining on the third floor of the home, at this point he must contact the company he engaged prior to our Company and request that the company return to his home to unpack and relocate the items they placed on his third floor. 2)Radiator Heat Covers ************** is either confused or being purposefully misleading in his review because our Company did not remove and dispose of radiator heat covers. Again, ********************************* engaged a separate company prior to our Companys involvement in the project who performed the removal and demolition of materials within the home. Because our Company was not involved in the removal and demolition of material within the home, neither our Company nor *********************************** insurance company was aware of radiator heat covers that existed at the time of the loss, therefore radiator heat covers were not included in our contracted scope with *********************************. When this concern was raised by **************, our Company attempted on several occasions to contact *********************************** assigned insurance adjuster to discuss this concern, however as of this date our Company did not receive a response from ************** and ****************** insurance adjuster. To resolve his concern, ************** must contact his assigned insurance adjuster and inform the adjuster that the company he engaged to remove materials and perform demolition at his home discarded radiator heat covers and request that the adjuster include new radiator heat covers for payment. 3)Debris in ********************* is unaware of any debris in the basement created by performing our contracted scope of work because this review is the first time we have been made aware of this concern. That said, as has been previously explained, our Company did not perform the removal and demolition of materials within ************** and ****************** property. It is likely any debris that exists was created by demolition work performed the company engaged by ************** and **************** prior to our Companys involvement in the project. ************** must contact the company who created the debris and request that they return to his property to resolve this issue. 4)Weather Stripping on ************ Doors It is unclear why ************** has listed this as part of his complaint because the weather stripping was a part of a punch list of items that had been previously completed by our work crews. Listing this item as a current issue is false and misleading. 5)Cabinets Over Island It is unclear why ************** has listed this as part of his complaint because this review is the first our Company has been made aware of this concern. That said, our Company provided ********************************* with a kitchen drawing/layout and rendering which was reviewed, revised by **************, and ultimately signed off on. The kitchen cabinets were ordered and installed per the drawing/layout and rendering that was signed off on. If ************** has now decided he would like additional cabinets to be installed, he must sign a new contract and agree to pay for the additional work. 6)Electrical Items All the electrical work was performed by a licensed electrician and the work inspected by an independent electrical inspection agency as required by Philadelphia L&I. Again, the electrical work performed by our electrician was limited to the electrical items that were approved by ************** and ****************** insurance company and included in our contracted scope of work. If electrical items were removed by the company ************** and **************** engaged to perform demolition at the property prior to our Companys involvement in the project, ************** must contact his assigned adjuster to discuss his concern and request the adjuster include payment for those items as part of the claim. In conclusion we believe **************** issues are a result of his lack of involvement in the claim process and repair process on his property. We also believe ****************** frustrations lie with his insurance company and the company he engaged to perform the removal and demolition of materials at his property prior to our Companys involvement.
