Their ** SCAM. This is LEAGLIZED STEALING. I took a 11 month cd out at 5%. *** we need your signature to invest this. A year later I see I'm getting 1.25% on this. I look to see what are they currently offering, 11 month at 4% and I'm getting 1.25. I go to complain and their answer is *** you signed off for this to happen the day you took the cd out. All that on page 2 that was written up by a lawyer so your eyes glaze over trying to understand it. Yep what they do is all legal. I said why didn't you notify me this needed redone? We did. We sent you an email. I said that is it. No letter or phone call to make sure that i got the email? *** we did what was required by that email. I said I want to move this from the 1.25 to the 4% cd. *** you are now in a 12 month cd. There will be a 6 month penalty fee of $630.00 to do this. How nice they are to their customers. What they do although legal, is just wrong. I said you don't deserve to have my money. I CLOSED THE ** AND MY ACCOUNT BOTH. Stop stealing from senior citizens and change your name to MEMBERS LAST.

After a devastating accident that totaled my daughters 3-month-old car--an accident that was not her fault after another driver ran a stop sign and T-boned her car--we expected Members 1st Federal Credit Union to have our back. Instead, they added salt to the wound. The ************* was supposed to cover the remaining balance of the loan. It was paid. But somehow, Members 1st still charged me money. Thats right--even after the *** payout, they claimed there was still a balance owed and made me pay it **************** didnt end there. It took me getting transferred three times to three different people, only to be pushed off to an AI phone system just to make this ridiculous payment--a payment I shouldnt have had to make in the first place. (And I was forced to use my bank debit card; no credit cards were accepted.) I wasted over an hour of my time, and to top it all off, they charged me an extra $4 fee just to process it.Thats not customer service--its exploitation. There was no empathy, no accountability, and no effort to do whats right. Just cold transfers, robotic systems, and unnecessary fees during an already difficult time.Shame on you, Members 1st. Youve made it clear who comes first--and its not your members.

I have a checking, saving, credit card, & auto & rental insurance many years with Members 1st but now am thinking of pulling all my money and services and moving them to another credit union.Recently, on a Saturday after 1pm (this will matter) I attempted to make a purchase at a store in another state that was holding an order for me. The total purchase was 2.5k. My card was declined. That's when the nightmare began and I realized then I was now unable to contact anyone to rectify this issue because they DON'T HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER 1 PM ON SATURDAYS UNTIL MONDAY?! Ridiculous. There was NO WAY to approve this purchase at the store, no email, text, no way of contacting via phone UNTIL MONDAY?! That's insane and terrible treatment of customers.I understand they were "looking out for me" but if I couldn't make a purchase that I DROVE TO ANOTHER STATE TO BUY and had to drive back empty handed. Then they need to HIRE LIVE PEOPLE TO HELP PAST 1 PM ON SATURDAYS! Or provide a way to approve the purchase either by text or email that are registered to the account?! The plain fact that they DON'T HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR DECLINED TRANSACTIONS PAST 1PM SAT UNTIL MONDAY is absolutely ridiculous and a terrible way to treat their customers. I will be looking for another business to keep my money & provide other services if the availability hours or the ability to over-ride card declines doesn't change ASAP.

They are insulting and the biggest scam credit union in the world. Use a third-party department that is extremely behind on CPI for loans. They will say they never got your documents and claim they mail letters to you, which is fraud on their behalf. This credit union is such a scam; I can't wait to get away from this business! If you try to do arbitration against them, they will fight you and no allow you to file it even though it's your legal right!

This is the most fraudulent bank in *************, at some point there should be an investigation and most of theirs customers should get theirs money back ( same as happened to **************** years ago). This bank rip peoples off their money by their inaccuracy in their app and then charging courtesy fees. A bank is supposed to manage the peoples money but members 1st credit union is basically robbing theirs customers money, whenever opening the app never trust the number you see, they dont update those numbers unless you spend more money than that you have so they can charge you $32 dollars every day for overdraw you account, those tiff called courtesy fees .

I filed a dispute on my Members ********** Card. It's a very legitimate complaint, over just under $32, and they turned my down. Today, September 5th, I get a letter stating that they closed my debt card, and I only have until September 14 to go to another bank. Isn't this criminal?

This bank SUCKS! I have been a member at Members 1st Federal Credit Union for 36 years! Since 1987, I have had 6 auto loans with them and paid them off before they were scheduled to be paid off. I applied for a debt consolidation loan and was denied. Considering that my income increased significantly, and I was working hard at eliminating credit card debt, I applied and was denied again. Well, I later received debt consolidation offer from another financial institution who said I was pre-approved to consolidate credit card debt to an interest free credit card for 22 months. So I did that. About 3-4 months later, I received an offer for a pre-approved loan from an financial institution to consolidate the remaining debt, so I did. My credit score jumped over 120 points. because the interest rate on the second offer was higher than I would like, I was certain that Members 1st would allow me to refinance that loan at a lower interest rate. So I waited 2 more months and applied at Members 1st to refinance that loan to a lower rate and I was denied again. I called Members 1st, told the person who does the intake information for loans, that I had been a member for 36 years. I have been on my current job for 32 years. I have a credit score of 768 and have a 6 figure income, to include a A1 payment history on all of my bills to include my mortgage. I have NEVER defaulted on a loan that I had from them. Why did they come back and say, because I have been a long time customer they would offer me a loan for less than half of what I applied for at an interest rate 1 point less than the loan I am trying to refinance? Number 1, I have a large allotment that goes directly to my account biweekly, number 2, on pay day they will take their money before I get mine. They used to be Members 1st, now they need to change their name or is it because of my profile picture on my account that they are making their decisions? I told them to keep their money.
