Due to their inept Resident portal I was unable to see my payments for ***************. Because I could not see them I accidentally set up two recurring payments. After multiple phone calls for assistance, with no response, I submitted a negative YELP review. ***************** then decided to call me. He was incredibly unprofessional placing all the blame on me. Yes, I did set up two payments. However, I was unaware of this because I could not see any recurring payments on their resident portal. I figured it was better to be safe than sorry (ie. halving to pay late fees for non payment). I monitored my email and bank account and noticed that my *************** were coming out twice a month. I then called the management company for assistance because I was unable to see any recurring payments on the resident portal. I explained this all to ***************** on the phone. He focused entirely on placing the blame on me instead of fixing my issue. He also insisted that the resident portal was showing my recurring payments (it doesnt). He became very rude and insulting saying I was an idiot and couldnt figure out the process. I have screenshots showing the resident portal and the lack of a scheduled recurring payment. ***************** laughed at me over the phone with my frustration as I attempted to explain to him that the portal does not show the above mentioned information. He was condescending, rude, and unprofessional in every aspect.

Unfortunately ************** made a mistake and set up duplicate, recurring payments. ************** was assisted by numerous members of EAM's staff, all of which explained that he had complete control over the payments and he simply needed to login and make whatever adjustments he would like to see to the recurring debits. ************** refused all such attempts and continues to confuse the *** payment website with the Resident Portal. Despite these refusals, EAM staff as a courtesy did login on his behalf and made the necessary adjustments. In a final attempt to resolve the situation and to explain/confirm to ************** what had been done to rectify his concerns, ************** was contact by ****************** - this was primarily due to ****************** unprofessional conduct when speaking with other staff members. During the conversation, ************** engaged in several vulgar outbursts, using politically charged insults and discriminatory language toward individuals with disabilities. While EAM is always willing to help, this type of conduct and speech which demeans individuals with disabilities will never be tolerated and is uncalled for in the simple context of making a payment for homeowner association dues. At no point during the conversation did ****************** refer to ************** as an "idiot" and at no point did ****************** use any derogatory or unprofessional language.

Not impressed, waited 3 months for an answer on requests with no follow up...but I can't contact my HOA, they have to do it. Not worth the money

Unfortunately without more information relative to where ******************** resides we are unable to provide further assistance or comments in regard to ************************ concerns. ******************** is correct that most often, Board Members ask not to be contacted directly and to instead route contact through the management company. If ******************** requires further assistance, she may call the office at ************ and ask to speak to a supervisor and we will be happy to further assist.

After serving on a friendly, service-oriented HOA board for over 12 years, I have high expectations that a HOA serves the people of the community. If the HOA hires a management company, the management company should do likewise. Esquire Association Management LLC is a bunch of bullies. They fail to serve the homeowners whose dues pay for their services. They treat homeowners with disdain. They send threatening letters for unpaid dues that have already been paid. They require unnecessary information for Resale Certificates they are required by law to provide, then fail to include required information about lawsuits in the certificate. They claim they have all association documents posted to their portal, but they don't have the most important document -- the Declaration with amendments -- posted. They send out fines & warning notices via email with no subject or even a title on the pdf document so that the recipient has no idea what the email is about. They threaten fines for putting Student Driver "advertisements" on a vehicle being driven by (surprise) a student driver.

Thank you for taking the time to submit this review Ms. M****. We certainly understand the importance of the resale process. The litigation which you initiated is disclosed in all resale certificates. The information that we sought to collect to process the resale certificate is standard information about the transaction and was happily provided by the real estate agents representing you in the sale of your home. We do understand that receiving notices of violations of the governing documents is frustrating, but please understand those violations are issued at the direction of the Executive Board. We do wish you the best with your move and hope you are happy in your new Neighborhood.

Litigation which was initiated in 2015 was NOT disclosed on prior resale certificates, up to at least May 2022. You require disclosure of information that is NOT REQUIRED in order to prepare a resale certificate. My comments stand. I look forward to winning the pending lawsuit for the homeowners who have been overcharged for years.
