Eagle has not picked up our trash for four weeks. They will not answer their phone. They turned off the ability to leave a message. Yet they are happy to send me a text each week telling me they will be picking up trash on our usual date. There is a ******** post that indicated they automatically send out refunds for missed days.. NOT! The neighborhood looks like a trash heap and the neighbors have said they have seen a rat.Business Response

Our scheduled trash pick up is Wednesday. We have not had trash pick up for three weeks. July 12, July 19, July 26. Called today, after listening to to their recorded message of how they are committed to customer satisfaction is guaranteed for over 20 minutes was told it would be picked up today. No such luck. I have signed up for trash service on 6/28/23 with Eagle Disposal of East Earl, PA, for my new address and for trash to begin on 7/7/2023 (when I moved into the property). My trash and recycling was picked up the first week, but has not been picked up since. I received a text message and an email stating due to staffing shortage my pick up day was moved to Saturday (the day after my normal pick up), but Eagle disposal has not picked up any trash or recycling since the text message and email was sent. The only time I heard back from the company was the day I signed up for the service to let me know when my trash day would be. I have called 6 times and sent 2 emails with no response. I am rejecting this response because: Yes, the account is in mu Husband's name and I filed the complaint. That is the only reason my name is listed. The account in question is 17 *******************, Ephrata, PA. I only have text messages that trash would be picked up Saturday instead of Friday 2 weeks in a row. I only have one email from the Trash company stating the same information. No one has responded to my requests for cancellation or when trash would be picked up. I have called multiple times and no one has returned my calls. The attached call log shows long amounts of time on the phone and this was only to sit on hold for the next representative and then get an answering machine once you reach the notice that you are the next caller in line to talk to a representative.I have also attached the only 2 emails I have received from Eagle and neither one addresses my concerns of when the late trash would be picked up. The trash from 7/21/2023 pickup that was rescheduled to 7/22/2023 was picked up 7/28/2023. I want a full refund and cancellation of service and they can pick up their containers.

Eagle Disposal has not picked up our trash since June 27th. We had bags sitting outside and now have seen evidence of rats around our home. We have dogs that we need to make sure can't get into the trash. Today is now the 3rd pickup missed. This is unacceptable. I have seen people with trash piled up all over Berks and Lancaster counties! A credit is not enough. Are you going to pay my exterminator bill or a vet bill if my dog eats something from the trash he shouldn't? My trash hasn't been picked up in three weeks. In the last five weeks, it's been picked up once. I've hired this company to provide a service and they are not providing that service. I have trash over flowing my trashcan. When I complain to them they just say they are sorry but they have manpower issues and don't have enough drivers to pick up my route every week. Last billing cycle they told me they would credit me for the missed ups but only credited me for one. Now they are telling me that they will credit me for missed pick ups for this billing cycle, but I don't trust that they will. This company is the worst company I've ever dealt with. I'd cancel, but I have no doubt they'd tell me the cans have to be empty when they pick them up. They probably would never come pick up the cans anyway if I canceled my service.Business Response

Trash pick up has been extremely inconsistent. It all started last year and I would call and complain and all they said was they will refund me. I said I pay for the year and she said we will credit you next year. That never happened. Now Within the past four months my trash has been picked up 5 times. I pay for a full year at a time and kept being promised a credit but it was never applied to my bill nor did I get any kind of refund. I have tried to called Eagle several times, waited on hold and never got to talk to some one. I would like my account closed as I switched to another service provider. I would also like part of last year (since they promised I will get credited/ refunded and never did) and last quarter of this year and the remaining of the year refunded since I paid for the year in the beginning of the year. I did not get a response or a refund!
I even replied to them through BBB messages and Got Absolutely No response back! This is ridiculous!
I also contacted the PA Attorney General's Office AND NO Response there either and that I emailed Months ago!
So I will be satisfied if I get back what the owe me from last quarter April- Present plus Some of July. My trash got picked up that whole time from April-Present like maybe 4 times!
I also paid for the year so I have a credit of $179.81 remaining that they owe me!
I emailed Eagle Disposal back on July 21 2023 and NO RESPONSE BACK!! I asked for a refund from April 2023 - July 2023 and my credit of $179.81 and to close my account I no longer want them for my trash service!
All I am asking for is what they owe me and said they will pay me from April-July and my credit for the rest of the year since I paid for the whole year of 2023 in the beginning of the year.

CANCEL MY SERVICE ASAP PLEASE! I gave plenty of chances for you to pick up my trash since the 2nd quarter of this year to present. Since then My trash has maybe gotten picked up 5 times if that. So I would like Refund of what my credit is now ($179.81 ) And last quarter April -June) Since I paid for the year I do not know what my bill is a quarter so I am going off my last bill from February and that bill was 86.31. So a total refund of $266.12. I think that is fair because you owe me for the rest of the year and previous quarter since my trash hardly ever got picked up. Like I said “Maybe 5 times! I never even received credit from last year which you said you will credit, so I am letting that and last year go. I just want what I am untitled to and deserve for No pick. I’ve tried calling many of times before no answer left a Voicemail and NO ONE ever called me back to cancel my service and today I called 3 times today and each time I was 7th caller, then got to me next and got the voicemail to leave a message, so called back was caller 15 same thing got to caller 1 and then leave a message and Now I was caller 8 and Guess what…… Same Thing!! your quarterly rate started at 96.00 per quarter, started service in February, 2022 ( quarter will be Feb., March and April and so on..) we decreased your rate as you had complaints, to 81.75 per quarter, that would be a decrease of 171.75 per year.

Credit for missed services was added to your account on 2/1/2022
Credit for missed services was added to your account on 11/8/2022
Credits are added to accounts for MISSED services, if we are on a delay, you would not receive credit as we are collecting your trash, just at a latter date, we can not give credits for services rendered. your refund has been processed and you will receive this via check in the mail.

I got an email from BBB from Eagle Disposal. I don't understand it and if they sent a check I did Not get it and it does not take that long for me to get it.
So could please let me know what it all means? I only have 10 days well 5 days left to respond
All I want is to be refunded for last quarter $81.75 and the rest of this year $179.81
I don't understand why they can't understand what I want and What I am entitled to. So I just want the total of $261.56.
They are the ones screwing their customers! I just want it to be owed to me for Not picking up much trash but for 3x in the last quarter and the rest is what I already paid.
There was no credit added to my account ....if there was i can't see it??
So just have them pay me a total of $261.56 and that's it. I am done. They screwed up, not me.

Trash hasn’t been picked up in almost a month, but still being charged for services. Tried to cancel, waited on hold for 25 minutes just to be transferred to a voice mail during regular business hours. Trash pick up has been inconsistent since January. From Jan until now our trash was only picked up a hand full of times. My bill is a different amount every month when it should stay the same but is getting higher and higher each quarter. Trash was supposed to go out 7/12, I received a text saying it was going to be picked up the 13th, they never came. We have been a customer for many years. Ever since the pandemic, they have been very irregular with picking up our trash weekly. There have been at least 10 times where it wasn't picked up for several days as well as at least twice where it had to sit until the following week, and at the same time, our cost has increased twice. Yet, they still expect to be paid ahead of time (we pay quarterly). This is unacceptable. I have also seen many complaints from other consumers in areas where the Township pays them for services.
