On the date of May 17,2023 I prepaid Dr. *******'s office for future dental work. I met with him for approximately 20 minutes for a comprehensive exam. Towards the end of the exam he went over the process of the desired outcome with me and told me it was common practice to pay this large amount before completion so as not to be tempted to spend it on other things. I left with 1 future appointment scheduled (My dental work requires several appointments). I am diagnosed with a sometimes crippling cognitive disability (which I expressed to Dr. ******* several times) and I called prior to my scheduled appointment to cancel because of my condition. Unable to reach him I left a message. His assistant called me back with a date and time of a another future appointment. I tried countless times left many messages expressing my concern about the date of the second scheduled appointment. No response. Everyday I called and no one answered the phone and/or called me back. I managed to visit his office on numerous occasions with no contact. Finally months and months later I called, his assistant answered the phone. She claimed the Doctor would call me back in 15 minutes. He never called. My phones calls once again went unanswered for a frustrating amount of time. Then months later his assistant answered saying Dr. ******* would call me back. Moments later I received a call from a clearly upset nearly irate Dr. *******. He said he would return a portion of $2000 and if I wouldn't accept that he would get his lawyer involved. He berated me almost the entire time saying things like I should be ashamed to even be calling him.That I was lying about trying to contact him. He told me he had already spent the money on employee bonuses and how much of a hassle it would be to give me a refund. I was upset and just agreed to his 1500 amount. Told me check would be there by the end of the week. That was at the end of fall. I never received any payment. My calls continue to go unanswered
