Monday October 2nd my 2021 Subaru WRX STI was at colonial Subaru in feasterville pa for service. I needed a tire replaced and decided to do all 4 since the other 3 were close anyway. Also had a 30k service and was told I needed front brake pads replaced. No problem I agreed to have the work done. That Saturday October 8th while washing my car I noticed multiple large chips in 3 of my 4 calipers. I reached out via email with photos. Both the advisor and service manager responded and apologized for the poor workmanship resulting in the damage to my calipers. Since then the only solution the service manager has offered has been to powder coat the calipers. Well they come painted from the manufacturer not powder coated. Also on race technologies website, who is a partner and distributor for ****** products, very plainly states they do not recommend powder coating ****** brake calipers. On brembos website they also state they do not recommend repainting their calipers. So the only solution I have been offered is not recommended by the manufacturer. I keep my car up to manufacturer recommendations and standards and the fact that a Subaru dealer isn't willing to do the same is extremely frustrating. There is also a source called alldata that pulls OEM procedures from the major manufacturers. In alldata there is no procedures listed for repairing these brake calipers which means it's a non repairable part and should only be replaced. They can be serviced meaning replacement of seals and such but there are no procedures for repairing the calipers themselves. That along with ****** and race technologies stance on not powder coating or re-painting their calipers I don't see any other acceptable option other than having the damaged parts replaced to factory standards. They damaged my car, they acknowledged they did and their solution is to devalue my car with improper repairs? I'm running out of room to explain how power coat does not dissipate heat as well as the high temp

Good morning. I got an email explaining you have received my complaint. Well 4 days after filing the complaint with the better business bureau the dealerships GM reached out to me and the GM and owner have agreed to do the right thing and replace the calipers the dealership service center damaged. And I can't say enough good things about the GM there so I have been made whole. No other complaints since the owner and GM decided the only right thing to do was to replace the damaged parts. Seems my biggest obstacle here was the service manager. So this doesn't need to go any further as they have made things right and I withdraw my complaint at this time. Thank you

I purchased a used car warranty. Canceled the warranty with the dealer . was told the remaining money would be put back into car loan account . This has been going on now since February. Talked to a Tony K***************** sales manager several times , still no money in my account and he no longer responds to my emails . They sold me the policy and i think they should be responsible to get this cleared up .I was told by the insurance company that the policy was from that i could only cancel it thru the dealer .Thanks *********************
