I received notification that this company contacted family members but never called me directly. When calling to obtain a letter for verification of debt, the rep demanded I verify personal information and when I refused, became rude and disconnected saying ‘I can’t help you’. Without a verification of debt letter, I have no way of verifying if this is legitimate debt or some scheme.Business Response

I called the collections company on October 23rd to dispute a collection. The call lasted 3 minutes until I was hung up on. It's for electric bill costs that were incurred after I moved out of the rental property. They said it was services while I was in the property and the bills have a service date of June 10th and I moved out on June 7th and have confirmation email from the rental management company as of June 8th. They told to me contact SRP when I already had and it's now in collections. Instead of listening further after I disputed it they hung up on me. I have since disputed this with Equifax with all the evidence and continue to email the property management company to assume the bill. I'm not legally responsible for this bill.Business Response

I have received two calls from this company. Neither time did they leave a message. I have done my research on ****** and BBB and know they will keep calling and trying to harass me. My wife just passed away recently and I am trying to raise my kids, and do not have time to be harassed by this debt collector as I have received 0 correspondence via US Mail in regards to the debt they are supposedly trying to collect. I will not correspond with this company. I want no further contact from Penn Credit Corporation at all as from what I have read, they are ruthless and unprofessional and I do not have time for this. I have spoken to my attorney and a cease and desist letter will be sent if they call my phone number again. So....Please cease and desist all calls and contact with me immediately.Business Response
