            Date of transaction was June 23, 2022. I had a scheduled visit to have my car repaired, due to warnings that my "car door was open" and warnings that "key detected in car" whenever I drove over a bump in road. I was informed by Service Advisor, James M******** that diagnostic fee was $180.00 and would be in addition to repair cost. The service representative later approached me in the waiting room to inform me that the technician was unable to identify a problem with my vehicle, but that I would have to pay an additional $180/hr if I wanted them to continue searching for a problem. Since this was not part of my original agreement, during my initial conversation with the advisor, I asked to speak with a manager. Steve B******, Assistant Service Manager came out to speak with me and informed me that the diagnostic fee would in fact be $180/hr even though that was not what was originally explained to me when I signed my car in for service. He informed me that the next step in the diagnostic process was to contact their engineer to get recommendations. When I asked him why that couldn't be done with the $180 that I was already being charged, he stated that he would have to charge me for an additional hour in order to contact his engineer department for suggestions. He stated that they followed a "tier system" and that each tier was another level of diagnostics, which would be an additional $180 and that I could be charged an infinite amount of hours, even if they never identify the problem. I am now out of $190.80 and problem has still not been identified.
