I purchased $70 for cookies and paid 2 day shipping, the company advertises cookies are made the same day they are shipped. Cookies were not shipped until 2 days after my purchase which made the timing no longer acceptable as we were headed on vacation that day and would not be home. I contacted the company displeased and requested a refund due to the fact I would not be here to retrieve the cookies. I was told that they don’t issues refunds when the product hadn’t even left the business to be shipped. I then contacted fed ex to update my address so I could get the cookies sent to my sisters home where I would be. The cookies were expected on the 15th. Mind you I was charged from the company for 2 day shipping. *** ** returned the cookies to Taylor Chip on the 21st which is now 9 days after they were made. I contacted the company on the 20th again requesting a refund. They refused to do so, as they were going to ship the same cookies to me now that I’m home. We got home from vacation the 23rd and still no cookies or refund. I did not receive the product that I paid for and 10 day old cookies are unacceptable as a quality product, not to mention I have lost all trust in this company so I would not consume anything they have sent me. On Jan 21 I ordered online a dozen cookies for my mother to be shipped to Vermont I called the business and their employee told me if I placed the order on that Friday they bake the cookies on Mondays and ship out same day so I completed the order within fifteen minutes already taking my total of $70.44 out of my account I get an email from them with an order # I realize I put the wrong ship to zip code I call back and an employee says oh you have to email to communicate and gave me their customer service email did that and on Monday got an email with a ***** track number tell my elderly parents by Weds or Thursday morning will see package Thurs I track and number not found I call the business now I'm told well you have to email I cannot speak to a manager or owner I get a text back to my number stating my cookies are being shipped out Thursday afternoon what? Ordered mind you now 7 days ago their website says Monday to Weds ship as cookies have all fresh ingredients why would I get the ***** number if they haven't shipped then a series of back and forth emails very rude poor way of service asked for a direct call no one responds ask for a refund won't do that now and reading reviews other people have gone through same thing Thursday night I get an email your cookies have been shipped and a new *** ** number I am not happy express my birthday surprise is ruined and want to know when these cookies were baked no one has told me or called me to discuss this horrible experience even just an apology as it was my first time using their ship for cookies this is not right I even expressed to them what their website specifically says and have gotten no response back so again my parents are on the lookout for a package but no feedback from owner to assure me cookies will be fresh and that this experience is resolved I will never use them or give them my business and they should be examined for their false promise of delivery for product
