Myself 81 yrs old and my caregiver went into Fernwood Cemetery to purchase a grave spot for myself. My caregiver name is *******. We got a map of some grave spots, where they direct us to go by ourselves to go locate them. We went and couldnt find them. We went back to the office, where **************************************** that he has a funeral coming in, and he asked us our name and address and phone number, and he will contact us back, when he pulled up some grave spots in the computer and get back to us. ***** called back a week later and said he found one spot which was 88, for us to come viewing. We went again to view the 88 spot, another guy was at the desk who we told we are here to view a spot ***** called us about, he gave us a map again to go on our own to go look for the spot. We told him the last time we had a lot of problems to find them. He said it easy to find. So we went and couldnt find it, went back to the office to let them know, Now it a lady at the desk, whos name is ******, who said for us to go back section 88, she will call a grounds man to meet us there to show us. Well the grounds guy came and showed us. Went back to the office to purchase the spot, ****** wrote up the receipt for the spot for *************************** and ******* would be the overseer. She said the deed will be mail out, ******* got the deed12/7/22 and we read it over, noticed they made a mistake on the owner of the grave spot, we call back to notify them, only to hear that we have to pay $60 to change their mistakes. On my check it stated it burial for *******. ****** hang up on *******, because of disagreement, so we went into the office, ***** still insisted we have to pay $60, we disagree and they went over and open the door and told us to Leave. On the deed is were we saw their rules and regulations, which was not explained to us, only the map, price and taking our payment and deed will in the mail. The company has a bad business practice and not nice to their customers.
