    I received a bill for cardiac monitoring services using an MCOT monitor for 15 days. The initial cost of service is $9,000 whether or not we wear it for a day or a month, per call center staff. I have asked multiple times for an itemized bill. What they sent me with the billing code included is not an itemized bill. I have requested a cost breakdown of what encompasses the $9,000 charge with billing code *****. I am aware this is not the cost of a monitor as a prior healthcare worker. For the 15 days I wore it, that would equate to $600 a day. This is FRAUD, and they need to be investigated immediately. I have asked multiple people in this organization for a full cost breakdown and NO ONE has been able to tell me.

    The absolute worst device -and company to deal with!My device broke after 2 days while attempting a recharge.The device is supposedly fully covered by ********, yet I am being billed $2000. for a non-functioning piece of garbage. (It is my belief that this ******* device was issued to my hospital as a testing for trial studies)Upon notifying my cardiologist of the broken device, I was advised to discard the unit and subsequently prescribed a Prevena 125, which worked miraculously without a hitch.Please continue to read the following testimonials of others who have "illegally" been ripped off by this company.

    BioTel are crooks! I was told I should wear a heart monitor for 2 weeks, I was not told that the initial charge would be $9,000.00. I would have told them No! They have scammed in the past and are doing so again. I am now finding that they were Now it must pay $14.7 million. BioTelemetry was accused of violating the False Claims Act from 2014 to 2020. When I sent the unit back I found out they used a pre-used *** tracking number illegally. It said the equipment I returned to them in April 2024 was received in February, thats when I initially found out they were being fraudulent. I called to make sure they received the equipment and the representative kept stalling, then gave me answers that didnt sound assured to me. My insurance paid over $900, now theyre trying to get me for another $230? This fraudulent company cannot be trusted and no one should be billed for their so-called service. I will not pay them a dime.

    Bio telemetry does not send a bill in a timely manner. I just received a bill in May of 2024 from a service in November 11,2023 , January 24 2023 and so there billing goes. They blame it on the insurance company but I contacted them and the bills that Bio Telemetry sent to ******** were all paid within a month of the service. Bio Telemetry is trying to rip off seniors!

    ******** Biotel Heart *************** horrible. I needed to return equipment and never got representative to connect with me on the phone. Finally got a call from the man that had been playing phone tag with (he was nice). But then got a call from an absolute RUDE person who called me Rude when I said I just got the call and I have not gone to *** or CVS to return there equipment. DO NOT ACCEPT EQUIPMENT FROM THEM. How dare they call me rude when they don't do their job. And by the way this is not an overseas company just Rude Human Beings that should not be in medical field. Look at all the reviews.

    This is the worst medical provider I have ever dealt with. I received a monitor and, within 6 days, had over a dozen blisters. The monitor was sent back and the blisters took over a month to heal. The company told me they would not charge me for services because of my reaction. I received a bill a couple months later. I called and they told me they would review it. I missed a call due to a meeting, but called them back less than an hour later. I was told the review was pending. A few days later, I received another bill dated the very day I called. This company's equipment gave me painful blisters that lasted over a month, promised to not bill me for it because of the severity, and yet continue to harass me for payment every few months. They are liars and have untrustworthy equipment.

    One star based on patch irritation. 3 and 1/2 stars for support. I'm supposed to wear this for 30 days per my cardiologist. One day in it had caused major irritation - I could see red spots at the edge of the patch and it itched like crazy. I pulled it off and it took off skin in two spots and they were bleeding. I waited through a week of wound care and now use their alternative patches called Flex. They won't stick. The monitor came off in the middle of the night. I got up and put on two more Flex patches. They don't want to stick even after washing with warm soap and drying completely. Maybe they are a bad batch. So now I use paper tape to hold it on. Their support people have been very good - they answer in less than one minute and are very knowledgeable. Interesting that they seem unconcerned about wounds - trying to avoid lawsuits? Based on what others say is the cost, it is a crazy amount. I was told that Medicare pays for it based on known cardiac issues. Based on all the reviews of irritation, hard to believe they haven't created a better patch. I don't need to call a number to report occurrences. The phone has a screen that I can alert when there is an event. The phone also has options to turn off the volume and vibrate. It will light up if it can't sync or the monitor isn't recording. When I put the phone in the room next to mine with the door closed (less than 15' away) it can't sync. I don't care, sleep is important - it will automatically sync when they are near each other. It does sync 30' away as long as doors aren't closed. I go shopping and leave the phone at home, it can sync later. I'm not sure about any phone calls/monitoring that would cause them to contact me or my provider. My situation is just to be monitored to see what events it records. For the price I hope the data is accurate.

    Poor customer service. Incompetent data entry personnel. Failed to properly and timely file insurance claim -- As a result they will harass and try to penalize you for their incompetence causing a great deal of stress. Over 100 similar better business bureau complaints. A class action lawsuits may force this company to behave ethically.

    Same as the others, charged my insurance $9000 and disallowed down to my remaining deductible for the year to $900. I asked what the self pay rate was and it is $800

    This company is just a big scam.I sent their equipment back using their own package with pre-printed label but they keep robo calling saying they have not got it back and are threating collections.Really. This company has a long history of misdeeds.Just google them. Plus they are trying to double bill me for the one week I had their monitor. Sent me two bills with two different account numbers for the same service period Really? Just stay away from this company
