              Ive been taking both of my dog to this veterinarian for over 10 years. During that time they have told us we needed to have a yearly exam and be up-to-date on all vaccinations for our pets to prescribe life guard for fleas and ticks. After moving outside of Allegheny county to another veterinarian an hour and 40 minutes north, we were told by multiple veterinarians that you do not need an exam and it is not a prescription medication. So this whole time theyve been charging us extra money even though weve taken our pets there for multiple surgeries for $1500 and more each time. So basically, we were being lied to this is not a prescription medication. Take your pet to someone else who is more truthful and honest.

              Unless you order everything through them regardless of the 50% mark up they will not let you fill prescriptions elsewhere and will withhold medical needs. Very disappointed

With that being said, we put this policy into play because not all online pharmacies are created equal. Pharmacies that arent regulated by the *** *** offer products that are expired, stored in inadequate conditions, and counterfeit. This can lead to many consequences for your pet, such as: Toxic products that *** result in illness or even death? Medications that are ineffective in treatment? Catching preventable diseases? Our #1 priority is providing your pet with safe and effective medication. Thats why we work with an online pharmacy that our practice has researched and trusts. We apologize for any inconvenience this *** cause but please trust that we have put this policy in place with your pets safety in mind. If you have any questions, I would be happy to speak with you further on this matter. Please feel free to give us a call and as to speak to the Practice Manager.
