I'm trying to get refunded the cost of airline tickets. ****** has refunded Cheap Caribbean but I can not get ahold of anyone at Cheap Caribbean to find out about my refund. It is next to impossible to get ahold of anyone when there is a problem or after your trip.Business response

On 8/15/20, I booked a trip for two with CheapCaribbean.com to Cancun from Dec. 25-28 for $2109.84. I paid this amount in full on 8/15/20 (confirmation #********).On 12/8/20, I called CC customer service to cancel my trip. I spoke with *********************** ******** who told me that instead of cancelling, I could apply my balance towards another trip as I used the same airline (********). I schedule another (more $) trip in April to Cancun. ****** assured me that I would only owe the difference ($968.90). On 3/3/2,1 I loggen into CC to pay the remainder and was shocked to see that I owed the full amount of $3078.74. I immediately requested a refund from CC and contacted ************** via email. She told me that the full refund would show up in my account 5-10 days prior to my April trip. CC did then apply $1094.06 to my trip but did not respond as to the remainder. I had to pay $1984.68 in order to travel instead of the promised $968.90. I would like a refund of $1015.78Initial Complaint

I had booked a trip through cheap Caribbean to DR last month (June) spenthours on the phone with people who had no clue as to what was going on but the real problem here is. I booked and paid for 2 rooms a the ********* hotel in DR. I got there and only got 1 room. Hotel people said deal with them they only sent itinerary for 1 room. Originally total of 5 people were traveling, one ended up not going so got removed from reservation(which Im still waiting to get credited for it.) I made sure to say many times only removed this person and no other changes, they took upon them selves and got rid of 1 room. 2 adults and 2 teenagers traveled and had to share 1 room. I'm looking to get reimbursed for that room that was paid and never got to use. If you check my call log you will find literally hours spent with them on the phone for so many issues. I booked a vacation in March 2021 for my honeymoon in August 2021. My fiance tragically passed away on July 7, 2021 in a car accident. I can obviously not take my honeymoon now. Nor would I want to alone. I have been back and forth with the business, Cheap Caribbean, and they are refusing me a refund of the money I paid towards the trip.
