October of 2020 we contracted ($17,652.00) with ******** to renovate our inground pool. The scope of work included but was not limited to:Removing old concrete finish and paint, removing old ceramic tile; repairing pool concrete walls and bottom, installing new ceramic tile ((** Pool Tile Grade), installing Diamond ************************* Quartz plaster, hand troweled to a dense finish, Installing new main drain and cover to current pool code, provide a free scale metal and stain control sequestrant to prevent staining. All work to be complete in a ******* fashion and to industry standards. Work was warranted for 5 years for workmanship any defects and 10 year Manufacture's against failure from date of instillation. The pool work was finished in late fall. After the thirty day scrubbing of the new walls and bottom to remove loose plaster as directed by ******** the pool was covered for the winter. In the spring of 2021, when the cover was removed, we found numerous issues with the pool's finish. In several areas the color was not consistent with the body of the new plaster color. The surface has rectangle shape patches that are whit and not blue like the finish was suppose to be. There were rust spots in other places through out the bottom area. The drain was found not to be to code and had an obvious patch around the grate. The area by the steps was found to have running water streaks,,,******** visited the property and inspected the pool along with the Manufacture, PMM. We were told that PMM would prepare a report on their findings and supply it to ********. In turn, ******** would inform us of the findings. We have received no report or contact from ******** since that visit. We have called multiple times, we have Emailed them and sent them a letter with no return contact. We have contact PMM *************) and been inform they never received the required registration form from ******** so the have no responsibility for the issues discussed above.

Date of transaction: Work started in April, 2021 and somewhat finished by the end of June. Amount of Money: $16,000.00 Work Performed: Redo the tile and plaster of our indoor swimming pool. The Dispute: The caulking job above the tile was extremely poorly done. After many calls and emails, the company came out to scrap the caulking off the end of June. The caulking they scrapped, fell to the bottom of the pool and adhered to the cement. We now have hundreds of black spots all over the bottom of the new plaster. Tried to Resolve: Sergio's came out to correct the original major issue of the horrendous caulking job and in the process created a new issue. I reached out to them asking them to rectify the new problem, but they have not responded.

In September 2020 Sergio Pools renovated my in-ground pool, which included replastering, replacing the tile, replacing the coping, and adding caulk between the deck and the coping. This all looked good when the pool was closed 4 weeks later. A few days after the pool was opened in April 2021 I noticed that one of the coping tiles was cracked and that the seams between some of the coping tiles in that area had gaps. The caulking was also split in that area. I contacted the company and sent photos (attached). They did redo the caulking, but referred me to the manufacturer of the coping fir the other issues. That manufacturer contacted me once but never arranged to look at the issue despite several phone messages. I have emailed Sergio since then and left several phone messages, but received no response. Since my initial complaint, a waterline tile and some of the surrounding grout has fallen off.
