I’ve been to Tara several years ago and stopped coming because of her lack of professionalism. I’ve been to her 3 times and she has been late each time. Not late as in I was sitting while getting numbed up. I have sat in my car waiting for her to open her salon 30 minutes past our appointment time. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and book with her again for brow maintenance as I like her work. I got to the salon at 1:40pm for my 2pm appointment. Waiting to be acknowledged on the couch, 2:05 the assistant finally acknowledged me and placed numbing cream on my brows. The assistant or front desk person told me Tara will be with me shortly. Tara calls my phone at 2:20 saying that there was an error and I should have never been booked. She kept giving me excuses after excuses. I am not interested in excuses. She was not even in the salon and out running errands. I wouldn’t be this upset if they called me in the morning to cancel my appointment. The fact that Tara called me 20 minutes pass my appointment time is what angers me the most. I get 1 day off a week and I chose to dedicate my time to come to this salon. At first Tara refused to give me back my $200 deposit and only wanted to reschedule me. I was adamant I wanted my deposit back and no longer wish to return to this salon. After I hung up with Tara, I asked the front desk person to return my deposit but she was with a client so she rudely stated that she’s not going to stop what she was doing to help me. There was no one in that salon that could help me. After this experience, I will definitely not be returning to this place. My time is precious and important to me as much as theirs. Tara just texted that she will return my $200 deposit.
