On August 5th, my husband went through Wendys Drive thru to order our youngest (6yo) daughter a Chicken Nugget Happy meal. He paid $4.91 for this meal. When he returned home and gave it to our daughter she grabbed a chicken nugget out of the bag and took a bite. She began screaming and crying in pain saying "mommy, mommy, help me my throat is burning!" I ran over to see what was wrong and yelled for my daughter to bring her a glass of water. I checked her food and realized that what was in her happy meal was two SPICY chicken McNuggets. Once I soothed her down she refused to try and eat any other food because her "mouth hurt and my throat burns" I contacted the manager at this location and she was not one bit empathtic. She told me I could either come to the drive thru AGAIN for either a full refund or a remake of the food. I told her the only way Id come is if I got both; where in the world is the customer service these days? I have been wildly inconvenienced and my 6 year old was injured to to the spicy chicken mcnugget. I contacted corporate and spoke with Kevin. He told he had no ID number and kept confirming that I had to pick an option. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was placed on hold only to have him come back and tell me they have no supervisor and that he would escalate my complaint to the district manager. I asked for that mans name to which he replied he could not tell me because he isnt allowed to. I am disgusted over the lack of empathy and customer service from both this location and their corporate office. Kevin gave me the complaint number of ********.
