I was sent a gift card. It did not work as described when used for **** eats so i then just requested a physical gift card be mailed to me. I never received it. There is no customer service you cannot get anyone to help you. I am out a $25 gift card that was gifted to me. They want you to jump through 100 hoops to get 25 dollars. Do not do business with this company just go buy a gift card to gift to someone. They are the middle man for no reason.

I sent an email gift card for ****** for TJMaxx to my daughter in law. This was purchased at perfectgift.com. She received the email but is not able to access the gift card we have both called and sent text/ emails. I either want her to receive the gift or I want a refund which they told me is not possible. This is a very difficult and frustrating process. We are definitely not getting any help from this website. It feels like a scam.

Last Christmas I received a $250 electronic gift card (not an actual plastic card) specific to Outback Steakhouse through Perfectgift.com. The gift credit was sent to me via text, linking to the Perfect Gift website. The fishy part is that the Perfect Gift site prompted me to link this gift credit to my personal credit card with **************** ??? (so I played along) I was told by Perfect Gift via email that the credit was linked to my *** account. The second fishy part is I personally called ***, spoke with a representative and a supervisor, and they never heard of Perfect Gift before. I was told straight out that *** doesn't do this type of business. No credit was issued to my *** card. And now Perfect Gift has my account number and information! Is ******************** a legitimate business? Is this a scam? Because I've seen a number of recent similar complaints registered against them with BBB. Thank You!

**** - I wrote a detailed email to confirm your request. Your data is not shared or sold and your credit card details are not accessible to be compromised. It's purged from any parties. The encryption technology we use only allows us to push a credit to a linked card (of which we don't see anything except the last 4 digits). It is similar to Venmo where you would need to enter banking details to transact but that data is not available to anyone. As mentioned in my voicemail & email I am here for any questions direct communication.

I hope by way of receiving the credit and the multiple communication avenues to us, we have alleviated any doubts that we are not a company involved in or perpetrating any scams, in fact quite the contrary, it's our mission to eliminate fraud in the gift giving environment.

Happy to help in any way.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I'm following up on complaints # ******** and # ******** ****************************, Perfect Gift, GiftYa and any other shell corporations they're hiding under. And I note that there has been a spate of similar complaints registered against these entities with BBB since the holiday season 2024-25

    Kindly see the documentation attached

I was the recipient of such a gift card . The sketchy part of their business model requires the recipient to link their personal credit card to activate the e-gift. After complaining eventually they did credit me with the gift. My contact with the company is ****** DeDilva. I didn't feel comfortable with them having my cc info, I asked for assurances that my information wasn't compromised, shared or sold. WELL, THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN

Very recently (and I do not believe it's a coincidence) I have had a spate of fraud alert from various banks I do business with. Plus, I've received various scam emails. Again see attached. (One may seem innocuous from a person seeking my professional services as a personal trainer. Well I've been a trainer for +25 years and I've been aware of this email scam for the past 10 years.)

In my opinion, ***** and its affiliates are running an internet scam, and they should be further investigated by the Bunko Squad. And not only on my behalf, but also on behalf of the others who have been registering similar complaints in the past recent months

I ordered a $50 Target gift card in August 2024 through a 3rd party - perfectgift.com. The recipient had issues after she received the email and claimed it. However, she could never use it. I tried several times to assist. I exchanged many emails with customer service. I asked if they could send me the gift card since I paid for it. They just continued to insist the recipient must be the one to claim it. It may appear she "claimed it" but she never was able to move to the next step and actually receive the $50 Target gift card. All I want is the gift card since I paid for it. Or a refund. Please help.

This business sells xbox gift cards, but you don't get a giftcard. They want you to link your bank account so they can pay you back at a later date. This is the most ridiculous purchase I have ever had trouble with. I want a refund and have sent them emails with them wanting me to jump threw hoops. They said I didn't respond but sent them a screenshot of my reply email.

How embarrassing is it to have this card declined for my dinner with family and then have to pay out of pocket. The registration process is ridiculous to begin with and to get declined when I know the balance. Checked my balance before dinner and went to pay and got declined for ***** and tried other amounts, all declined. How embarrassing. I just want a refund for the balance and be done with this service. To top it off, it's a giftly card but it says to contact perfectgift.com on the card. Not sure if they are same company or just work together. So complaint filed for both.

Thank you for reaching out *******, and we apologize that you are having an issue with your card. We have reached out to you directly to request for some additional information to look into your issue and to assist.

If the card was used at a restaurant then the likely decline was due to a pre-auth applied by the merchant. This should be communicated on the carrier on which the card is attached and is very common for most gift card programs.

This article may assist with additional details so you can avoid any transaction declines in the future. Apologies for any inconvenience!

I received a gift card from a colleague as a celebratory gift for my fathers cancer treatments. I went to access the card, followed all of the instructions on the email, and have been unable to access it since my receipt of it on 09/25/2024. I have tried calling their support numerous times and have been both disconnected and hung up on. I have tried to chat with their chat box and also have received the same canned response. I just want to get my father his gift card. It was for Subway and for a total of $50. Please help me resolve this. It's so unethical.

This place is a scam. On Dec 26, 2024, my parents bought me a $100 virtual gift card, when I received the text and opened the link the next day, it said I was gifted a $100 gift card to *** Theatres. But when attempting to use the gift card on Jan 1, 2025, *** told me the card had $0 value and was already fully redeemed. Perfect Gifts response was that even though the card was bought through them, they arent responsible for a merchant gift card. So in short, my parents gave this company $100 and in return we got nothing. Do NOT use this company. It is a scam.

    Business Response

    Date: 02/26/2025

    Hi *****

We are sorry for this experience.

As confirmed in earlier communication, "We have received word from our vendor. They have confirmed this *** Theatres gift card was redeemed in full on 12/29/24 at *** Methuen 20, for Moana 2. It was brand new and only delivered to the requested recipient from our end."

Our records show that on 12/26 the gift card was delivered to phone ************ and on 12/27/202 an eGift was created, which can only be securely done via this number. That eGift is the equivalent of buying a card in a store - they are non refundable and once redeemed they are entirely under the control of the person possessing the card number.

Since the egift balance and transaction history can only be view and provided to *** we suggest you reach out to them. You may also file a police report and have them email us at *********************************************** OR you may need to dispute the charges with your bank.

Thank you for your time and understanding

I contacted ****** to advise that I did not make the purchase of a gift card in the amount of $50.00 in July of 2024. My accounts were compromised around the same time, including Venmo and my credit cards as well. This included my email accounts and personal information. This caused many unauthorized transactions and transfers to take place during this time. The investigation was resolved in your favor, however, I have no access to that gift card or those funds. Therefore, I am out $50.00. All I am asking is for you to disable that gift card and refund my money. I have been advised by the financial institution that the dispute has been resolved. In previous communications, you have stated thatthe dispute hasn't been resolved and therefore the funds were frozen. From my understanding (as I have no access to the gift card), there were no funds that were used at all. Please advise. As I have stated, I have made a good faith effort to resolve this issue. The dispute has been lifted and I have no access to these funds.
