I purchased an e-gift card from Perfect Gifts LLC as a Mothers Day present, expecting the process to be simple and straightforwardjust purchase, send, and use. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but. After numerous hoops and an overly complicated registration process, the recipient finally received the e-gift card. However, when they attempted to use it, the store had no idea what it was or how to process it. The gift card was essentially useless.I contacted Perfect Gifts LLC to request a refund, explaining that the product I purchased did not work and was not accepted by the store. They refused to issue a refund, insisting that since the card was sent, they fulfilled their obligationeven though the product they delivered doesnt work as intended. They suggested the recipient go back and register again, a process that takes over 30 minutes and still doesnt guarantee the card will be usable. The recipient is understandably frustrated and no longer wants to deal with it. The fact that they require such a complicated process for a digital gift cardand then provide zero support when it doesnt workshows they dont intend for these cards to be used at all. This feels like a deceptive business practice. Im requesting a full refund for a product that does not work and that the recipient cannot and will not use.

I bought a $25 gift card and ************************ sent it to my brother. He could not open it. I called and they told me to have him call and he called and they told him to have me call so we both called and they put me on hold twice and then transferred me to another company entirely. And then they did it again when we called back the second time. We were scammed.

I ordered an egiftcard for T.J. Max yet PerfectGift did not send either the egiftcard nor was it for T.J. Max. They tried to make the redeemer sign up on their website and then use the credit for other items or options. No egiftcards were available at all and nothing for T.J. Max. Almost every option for how to spend the money charged an additional user fee. This is not what I ordered or paid for. Please reimburse in full.

We are sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your experience with Perfect Gift.

Your recipient for order #********-575073 elected to exchange her $50 T.J. Maxx eGift for a ************* Gift Card to be mailed to them (at NO ADDOTIONAL COST). This request was processed on 5/12 and their card was shipped out on 5/13. It typically takes about 5 business days for cards to arrive in the mail.

Since your recipient was able to redeem their gift successfully, we are not able to offer a refund at this time.

I was sent a gift card. It did not work as described when used for **** eats so i then just requested a physical gift card be mailed to me. I never received it. There is no customer service you cannot get anyone to help you. I am out a $25 gift card that was gifted to me. They want you to jump through 100 hoops to get 25 dollars. Do not do business with this company just go buy a gift card to gift to someone. They are the middle man for no reason.

I sent an email gift card for ****** for TJMaxx to my daughter in law. This was purchased at perfectgift.com. She received the email but is not able to access the gift card we have both called and sent text/ emails. I either want her to receive the gift or I want a refund which they told me is not possible. This is a very difficult and frustrating process. We are definitely not getting any help from this website. It feels like a scam.

Last Christmas I received a $250 electronic gift card (not an actual plastic card) specific to Outback Steakhouse through Perfectgift.com. The gift credit was sent to me via text, linking to the Perfect Gift website. The fishy part is that the Perfect Gift site prompted me to link this gift credit to my personal credit card with **************** ??? (so I played along) I was told by Perfect Gift via email that the credit was linked to my *** account. The second fishy part is I personally called ***, spoke with a representative and a supervisor, and they never heard of Perfect Gift before. I was told straight out that *** doesn't do this type of business. No credit was issued to my *** card. And now Perfect Gift has my account number and information! Is ******************** a legitimate business? Is this a scam? Because I've seen a number of recent similar complaints registered against them with BBB. Thank You!

**** - I wrote a detailed email to confirm your request. Your data is not shared or sold and your credit card details are not accessible to be compromised. It's purged from any parties. The encryption technology we use only allows us to push a credit to a linked card (of which we don't see anything except the last 4 digits). It is similar to Venmo where you would need to enter banking details to transact but that data is not available to anyone. As mentioned in my voicemail & email I am here for any questions direct communication.

I hope by way of receiving the credit and the multiple communication avenues to us, we have alleviated any doubts that we are not a company involved in or perpetrating any scams, in fact quite the contrary, it's our mission to eliminate fraud in the gift giving environment.

Happy to help in any way.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I'm following up on complaints # ******** and # ******** ****************************, Perfect Gift, GiftYa and any other shell corporations they're hiding under. And I note that there has been a spate of similar complaints registered against these entities with BBB since the holiday season 2024-25

    Kindly see the documentation attached

I was the recipient of such a gift card . The sketchy part of their business model requires the recipient to link their personal credit card to activate the e-gift. After complaining eventually they did credit me with the gift. My contact with the company is ****** DeDilva. I didn't feel comfortable with them having my cc info, I asked for assurances that my information wasn't compromised, shared or sold. WELL, THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN

Very recently (and I do not believe it's a coincidence) I have had a spate of fraud alert from various banks I do business with. Plus, I've received various scam emails. Again see attached. (One may seem innocuous from a person seeking my professional services as a personal trainer. Well I've been a trainer for +25 years and I've been aware of this email scam for the past 10 years.)

In my opinion, ***** and its affiliates are running an internet scam, and they should be further investigated by the Bunko Squad. And not only on my behalf, but also on behalf of the others who have been registering similar complaints in the past recent months
    Regards,

I ordered a $50 Target gift card in August 2024 through a 3rd party - perfectgift.com. The recipient had issues after she received the email and claimed it. However, she could never use it. I tried several times to assist. I exchanged many emails with customer service. I asked if they could send me the gift card since I paid for it. They just continued to insist the recipient must be the one to claim it. It may appear she "claimed it" but she never was able to move to the next step and actually receive the $50 Target gift card. All I want is the gift card since I paid for it. Or a refund. Please help.

This business sells xbox gift cards, but you don't get a giftcard. They want you to link your bank account so they can pay you back at a later date. This is the most ridiculous purchase I have ever had trouble with. I want a refund and have sent them emails with them wanting me to jump threw hoops. They said I didn't respond but sent them a screenshot of my reply email.
