    I purchased sewer line insurance from Peoples paid a monthly premium and now I have a sewer line line and they say that because I have 2 lines exiting my home that goes into 1 main seeer line that it is not covered

    I've had trouble for the past 2 years, but worse since late last year. First they kept returning my payments back into my bank account.. I tried to pay it twice each time returned. The very next month had to pay for them returning the bill back into my bank account. Fast forward to March of this year sent out a money order they didn't cash it til June. *************** was charged late fees and return fees from the bank where they would not take their money. During months March through June I called and wondered why they hadn't received the money order never got a straight answer offered to pay on bill they said it wouldn't go toward the bill I already sent out that it was pointless. By beginning of June I put a trace out on the money order two days later delta crashes it. Now I've paid 185 which was due the last 2 weeks of June of which I told them I could not pay til 3 of July. They security come cut my gas off without any notice and when I call the office it wasn't even on the computer system that it was shut off it was still showing on. Btw I only have a small gas heater and a water heater that's all that uses gas. The heater has been turned off since February of this year cause we no longer needed heat so for the past 5 months the only thing using gas is the hot water heater and mind you theres no possible way that alone is using that much gas to cost 180 to 300. Just isn't possible!!!

    Absolute trash gas company. The technicians are lazy and inconsiderate. 9 hour windows and 15 min call aheads are ridiculous. They have a monopoly so being a good company with good technicians is not priority. Money hungry rip off company. Raising rates but offers horrific customer service. Please I wish the city would sanction them.

    Sent me to collections after I closed an account because I didnt receive a $30 bill. I never received any notice from them either through my account or on paper until three months later (my mail had been set up to be forwarded by the post office before i moved out). It said if I did not pay now, Id be sent to collections. I immediately paid via their phone line and got sent to collections anyway. When I asked why, they said my account shouldnt have been sent. I filed a dispute but the collections company has reached out to them multiple times and received no response. The peoples gas representative was rude and told me that I missed the bills that were sent so it was my fault that my fully paid account was sent to collections. I hate this company.

    Peoples gas isn't good my bills it still over 1,400 when I've made over 2,000 in payments there saying its my current charges plus my past bill that is crazy

    ********************* and the subcontractors he is managing have the absolute worst customer service skills and common courtesy. They do not care about residents at all.

    Refuses to come out to take care of turning on our gas. The order was placed on 9/1 and peoples gas dropped the ball. Spoke with ***** a supervisor on the escalation team was told she couldnt help me and she would finally get someone out another day but no one was coming to help us today even though we had been calling the after hours line since Friday prior and no one would come until Tuesday. We are unable to bath our infant and she said that isnt an emergency and having no hot water for 5 days wasnt their fault. We are in a rental property and this is unacceptable. She kept blaming it on the landlord which we were updated each time they called for help. This supervisor needs retrained on customer service she had 0 empathy and told me she was hanging up on me and to call the puc because she wasnt helping me today and i would get no help from anyone today.

    Peoples gas made a mistake on my account then told us it was our problem and shut our gas off until we paid for their mistake. They have a monopoly because they own the gas lines.

    Peoples Gas is a Joke. Sending me a Shut off notice due to not giving access to my business that clearly has posted hours of operation that my employees are almost always there. You call me at 5pm with an automatic message to contact you within 72 hours at said number but when I call back it's after business hours and nobody will call me back during business hours. Then you try to charge me $115 dollar recontacting fee. Wow. I can see turning off my service for Not paying you but turning off my service for not giving you access to the building is outrageous. How about you send a servicemen to my business during my posted business hours and do your inspection instead of being lazy. All of you utility companies are the same. Shame on you.
