The Bureau opened its file in October 1994. The Company's headquarters are in St. Peters PA but it conducts all flights from the Rockvale Square Outlet at Routes 30 & 896 in Lancaster, PA. In November 1998 Balloon Flights Above America, Inc. entered into an agreement to sell the assets of the company to Stanley Hess, an active partner of the United States Hot Air Balloon Team. The Team is attempting to honor all gift certificates presented however they ask the holder, since many of the records are incomplete, to accept new discounted flight certificates in the name of choice.
