Allow low fares to be rented online but then, when customes are picking up the car, they add the insurances Yes or Yes. Reservations go on the spot from $200-$300 to $500-800. They say they have no option but we found Sixt car rental very close to then that accepted our *************** from the ************* so did not force us to buy their insurance so we returned the car to Allied and saved money even adding my wife as a driver, we paid a lot less.On top of that, car smelled to cigarretes.

Beware! DO NOT Rent from Routes Rental Car (owned by Allied Car and Truck Rental)!My most recent trip on August 31st, I used Routes.I ordered the vehicle through Priceline because the initial daily rate was cheapest.Clearly, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!I needed the vehicle for 7 days. When I arrived, I purchased full coverage insurance from Routes, an extra $28 per day. I was charged a one-time fee for toll coverage of $10 with an additional daily fee of $9.95(much higher than other companies).From the start the staff was rude and the rental process was longer than I expected.When I received the car that I purchased it was dirty inside and out.Shortly after driving, the tire pressure light came on.A day after renting the vehicle, I was involved in a hit and run accident on the highway near my hotel. I made a report at the local police station. Then I immediately followed up in person with Routes/Allied rental car to make a claim and assess damage. I spoke with night manager, ***** ****. He said I had to pay $750 as a deductible for an accident I did not cause I returned to Routes 2 days later, during the daytime. So, I could follow up on my claim.I was asked to speak to a claim's specialist named *****, very ***************** was a very horrible experience and conversation with this person.I questioned why I was getting charged for an accident that I was not at fault for. He said that regardless of fault, I had to pay the deductible because that is the law. ***** is clearly misguided about the law and is a poor representation of the company.When I returned my vehicle at the end of my trip, I was given a summary of charges MUCH higher than what I was initially quoted AND they kept my $250.00 deposit. A deposit I was assured I would get back and I didn'**** was first thing in the morning and the woman at the front counter already had a nasty attitude.Routes included a bunch of bogus charges and surprise fees that was never disclosed prior to booking.

BEWARE THEY ARE ONE HORRIBLE RENTAL COMPANY. IT TOOK 2-3 HOURS TO GIVE ME A REMTAL THAT ME AND MY FAMILY WILL WANT TO RIDE IN. VERY DIRTY AND THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FEES YOU NEVER HEARD OFF AFTER YOUR RETURN. THEY CHECKED OUT THE CAR WITH ME THEN FINALIZE THE BILL PROVIDING ME MY RECEIPT. THEN CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD FOR A CLEANING FEE.

Dont waste your time or money. This is the worst car rental company in ***********. Every time we come for vacation, we rent cars and have never had such a bad experience. The car they gave us was a ******, and although it looked nice and had low mileage, it was extremely dirty, full of sand everywhere, and had papers covered in chocolate. The vehicle rental for less than 24 hours was supposedly $79, including the necessary insurance, plus a security deposit of $250 that would be returned in 3-7 business days. However, when we went to pick up the car, they added so many unnecessary insurances that the total came out to $253, plus the $250 deposit. When we returned the car in *********, they charged us $75 for dropping it off there, even though they said there would be no fee. To make matters worse, they also charged us $75 for supposedly dropping it off in ************ when the return was in *********. In the end, they scammed us for $150, plus additional charges we werent informed about, and we didnt receive a proper receiptjust a piece of paper that didnt have complete information. Honestly, it was the worst experience of our lives.

The rental car in ********** charged me $158.60 when called they said it was a cleaning fee. When I picked up the car on Saturday the lady told me that the car was dirty and if I wanted it cleaned I had to wait. I didnt wait so she gave me the car dirty. I was then charged this cleaning fee. When I contact them they refused to give me a refund.

Worse customer service. They over charged me twice for insurance. The guy at desk very rude unprofessional Now they dont answer the phone. Im filling a complaint with the bank to dispute the charges. The cars has dents everywhere and is very dirty and smells. They didnt walked through for damage I had to take pictures Terrible

I will chalk my loss with this company. I rented from them through Priceline. I will Never use either of them again. Please folks Allied truck and car rental from ********* PR is a rip off. I paid through Priceline $800 from 7/2-7-9. They took an additional $450, which they returned 4 days later. Great. Now I get back home and realized the took out of my account $200. Now, I know I didn't go through tolls to amount $200. I will go through my bank to get this money returned. I will never use this company again especially through Priceline. My fault for not reading the reviews first. ****** learned. ??????

I had to use one star to put my complaint. I dont want any star ************* ever The employees were great. No harasses. no attitude. The owner of this company is who I blame I had a reservation with Priceline. I confirmed my vehicle the day before. I arrive and no vehicle. That I am on a waiting list with 30 other customers. Customers had been there 4 hours waiting. Families. How can they have 4 stickers threw out the business of Bbb accredited. No way. No. These have to be removed. Then my vehicle arrives with 6 cigarette holes in the seats. I will never use them again. I will be going back to ***********. The owner is at fault here. Not the employees. They need and have a job. They did there best to keep us in a short fuse.

The worst car rental ever. I left a 4 paragraph review on ******* The fact Allied Rental has so many overwhelmingly negative reviews on ******* TripAdvisor, Yelp, and BBB leads me to conclude the BBB in PR doesnt care about its reputation, and how tourists are treated, or absolutely useless body with we dont care attitude

On August 2023, we rented a car from this place unfortunately another vehicle hit ** on the highway, the other person was 100% responsable, provided the insurance information which we drove to allied car rental right after the accident, they wouldnt change the car even though it was in a car accident, we provided all the insurance information, police report , description and everything they asked for. I tried to put the claim in the insurance and wasnt able to because they didnt provided me the marbete number for the car, was told by one of the claim assistants that she was going to put the claim since it was their car. Didnt hear anything about the case for months until November 2023 when they charged my credit card $3,458 dollars without previous warning or even contact, when I called them and explained the situation was told that they never put the claim and that it was my responsibility( even though I tried in multiple occasions and without the info I wasnt able to) I called the insurance and put the claim after a few weeks the insurance paid $2,221 dollars and was told I was going to receive a refund which its been over 3 months and havent received a refund, the claim adjuster no longer answers my emails or calls, their boss wont email back and there is no way to contact him. If you call to the store people hangs the phone call. Also was told by the insurance company that when they discussed the charges every single repairment , labor and part was overpriced and thats why they had negotiated down to $2221. THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL SCAM AND MY CASE IS LOOKING LIKE DOUBLE DIPPING FROM INSURANCE MONEY WHICH IS FRAUD!!!! I need my refund for $3,458 dollars ASAP!!!!
