Central Park group was buying a house in San ****. After offering ****** the money was dispersed amongst living relatives. The company stated they would distribute the checks. After multiple call and emails the checks were never mailed. We have provided all documentation needed to send the checks but nothing still. Now the company has blocked my number and we are unable to reach out to them. The practices of *********************** are deceptive and fraudulent.Business response

This information is false, we have swnd to all the family memebers which are around 9 members, all of them have cash their checks except Mr . ******** and his sister. On October 22, 2021, *************************, managing partner of ***********************/Central Park Group LLC, signed an agreement to purchase my inherited property ****************************************************************. ************* agreed to pay a cash offer of $50,000.00 for the above mentioned property. This was to be divided as follows:**** Payment deducted: $7,000.00 (paid and proof of check provided)***********************: $18,143.28 ************************************: $18,143.28 (paid on November 2, 2021 via bank wire)****************************: $6,713.44 (paid on November 2, 2021 via bank wire)I, ***********************, have not received payment for the $18,143.28 as of June 16, 2022. I have been in constant communication with Central Park Group LLC and their lawyer *********************** attempting to resolve this case amicably and without escalation. Initially, ***********************, advised a check was mailed via **** without any certification and no proof of actual payment being provided. My lawyer, Lcdo ******************************* Carlo, mailed a letter to *********************** on December 17, *********************************************************************************************** Central Park Group then requested an affidavit stating I had not received payment.At their request, a notarized affidavit was sent to advise the check was not received and I provided my bank information for a bank wire transfer. Central Park Group LLC received this on February 22, 2022 and **************************************** confirmed this with his client and myself as being received, via email. On April 19, 2022 **************************************** emailed me that his client, Central Park Group LLC, would be making the payment on or by May 1, 2022. This payment was never received. On May 10, 2022, ****************************************, advised via email that his client was having financial hardships and was offering to make 4 equal payments beginning June 15, 2022 of $4535.81 and disbursed monthly on the 15th until September 15th 2022. the information is completly false, when the company purchase the property in *********** we send wire transfers to her mother and sister that had checking accounts, **************************** did not have a bank account due to her financial problems and the wire was not send becuase her mother wanted the company to send her portion to her account and *********** did not agree for legal complications, we believe her mother wanted her money portion. Later we send a regular check and the client never recived the check so our Attorney *********************** ************ send her a sworn affidavited stating that she lost the check. this porperty has legal problems , we did not retained the 15 percent for tax purposes because ************* is a non resident.
Our lawyer has arrange a agreement the first payment is on June. We do not accept her explanation is false and *** leading. Central Park Group,

I am rejecting this response because:BusinessDate Sent: 6/17/2022 5:02:40 PMthe information is completly false, when the company purchase the property in *********** we send wire transfers to her mother and sister that had checking accounts, **************************** did not have a bank account due to her financial problems (It is true I did not have a bank account on November 2, 2021, when my mother and sister were paid the same day; however THEIR assumption as to why is an opinion/assumption and has nothing to due with why they cannot pay me NOW)
and the wire was not send becuase her mother wanted the company to send her portion to her account and our lawyers did not agree for legal complications, we believe her mother wanted her money portion (from a legal standpoint, I can understand, however they did not send proof they actually mailed me a check).
Later we send a regular check (a check worth $18,143.28 should NEVER be sent via "regular mail" as they advised they did. I was required to send notarized paperwork with certified tracking and overnight to complete the contract within the time the company asked for. Common business sense should be taken by Central Park Group LLC and they should have sent the check certified and with tracking as well, not only to please me, the customer entering a contract with them, but also "protect" themselves.)
and the client never recived the check so our Attorney *********************** ************ send her a sworn affidavited (Atty *********************** only stated that he would but never did, I had to get create my own sworn affidavit which included all the information they were asking for and had this notarized and mailed with tracking, they received my affidavit on February 22, 2022 which was confirmed by them as being acceptable and then they provided a date of when payment would be wired, since they now had all my personal and sensitive bank information)
stating that she lost the check (I did NOT "lose" this check, it was never received and that is part of my sworn affidavit).
this porperty has legal problems , we did not retained the 15 percent for tax purposes because ************* is a non resident. (I was not aware of any "legal problems". The property owed taxes, Central Park Group LLC/***********************, agreed to buy the property for $50,000.00 from my family. We only took $43,000.00 as they used $7,000.00 to pay those taxes as part of the contract. My mother and sister received their portions the same day the contract was signed. I have not gotten any payment, just empty promises by Central Park Group LLC and Atty ********************************************** lawyer has arrange a agreement the first payment is on June. (They only say ***** The lawyer advised that his client would make 4 payments: June 15, 2022; July 15, 2022; August 15, 2022 and the final payment September 15, 2022. I have not received June or July's payment)
We do not accept her explanation is false and *** leading. Central Park Group, (All of the information I provided is completely true and I can reference back to all the dates and conversations had with ease. I have offered this to the atty and the client if they wanted all the documentation I have with the promised payment dates and they have not acknowledged that. The last arrangement was broken, I did not receive my promised first installment of a bank wire payment on June 15 2022 as was told to me by Atty *********************** and even confirmed by the ******** of Central Park Group. I tried to communicate with the atty as to why and he eventually told me to stop contacting him. On June 17, 2022 I decided to reach out to BBB for some help, on the same night the Atty emailed me stating his client received a complaint and that I needed to remove it or his client will not pay me. This "threat of nonpayment" documentation was provided to the BBB.)
I appreciate the opportunity to clarify the facts of this case.

Greetings from Central Park Group, LLC we have send the clients checks and where lost in the mail because when we purchase the property ************* did not have a checking or savings account. We proceeded in sending the wires to her mom and sister. We send her a sworn affidavit for her to sign and notarized that the check was stolen o lost.. At the present we are filling a lawsuit against ************* for degrading our company's name in your system with false accusations.Finally the information submitted is half correct and to other is complete false!***********************;Managing Partner************Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:The company still has not paid *********************** for her part of the property. Even after numerous communications and promises made by the company and their legal representative, they still have not fulfilled their contract TO ************************
This was the only thing my father left me in his sudden passing, and after 5 grueling emotional years of trying to decide on the sale of the property we chose to work with *********************** aka Central Park Group LLC the contract was clear and in writing, the communication and promises made by them is in writing and i have suffered emotionally and financially due to their lack of professionalism and form of "bullying/threats" simply because i do not reside in *********** and do not have the means to be there. This is why we had a representative appointed to work with them who resides in *********** and is familiar with the laws help us close this case. The company decided to refuse to work with him once I provided them with my sensitive bank information for a wire transfer and they accepted my affidavit that i never received my check. The multiple promises to pay were emailed to me by the company's legal representative and each date has come and gone over the past year without payment. I have everything in writing and it's clear this company is grasping to NOT pay me my inheritance for the purchase of father's property. I am severely emotionally distressed by yet another threat from this company and would caution anyone deciding to work with them.
