    Had my pool one season. Going on the second, hooked my pump up and seen it had a pee size leak so I contacted Hayward for warranty purposes. Contacted them the first week in March and here we are on May 1st and all I have gotten from Hayward is bs. Do not buy they will give you the run around with the warranty. Ive been waiting and still waiting unfortunately.

    I purchased an above ground propane heater for my pool. When I tried to use it, the heat exchanger started to leak. When we called Hayward they sent 2 men to check it. They said the pool water had too much ph. I said ,you mean to tell me that the ph was so bad that it ate through the heat exchanger in less than a days use. They would not replace or repair it do to user fault. A new exchanger is $800-$900. If a tankless water heater never fails why do your heaters?

    We have had our pool less than 6 months and the heater has went out on it. Trying to get ahold of them since it is under warranty is like trying to contact a concrete wall. The facility here for ******* is horrible and *** I believe his name is does not care about the customer!!! Dont ever by there **********************!!!!

    Bait and switch Bought a pool heater and they said the warranty we have isnt for our heater There is a disclaimer at the bottom of the page that says this may not be for your model At first we were told on three separate calls that we were completely covered

    The company is garbage. We have a pool pump where the digital no longer works. No one in our area will do the warranty work. When I call the corporate office, the answer is always "We're working on it." This means that no one has started on it, and they are just shuffling around papers.

    I have had my salt pool for 10 years with all hayward equipment. I have had to replace my salt cell a few times in the past 10 years. My equipment is covered and my pump also has a cover. I do everything I can to extend the life of my pool equipment. Recently my salt cell went bad again. I received two salt cells under warranty that did not work, The third was delayed. Long story short I was given a contact from a Leslies employee. I reached out to him and this was his response:I am a salesman for Hayward and this isnt really my department but I will take care of this for you. Then I received a phone call from a local ******** said he would be out to fix my problem? He came out as he said, put in a new upgraded salt cell and my panel was also bad. He also replaced that.It is now working properly after being without for two months and at NO cost to me. WOW There is still hope for humanity :)

    Before you purchase read below on my experience.I bought a pool from them less than 3 years ago. At their recommendation, we put in the Hayward Salt Water System. When it stopped working, I took the cell into a local pool store and had it tested on a Hayward tester. It tested bad. Didn't know how to handle the warranty, so I called Hayward, they told me I had to go through the dealer which is Aquamarine Pools. Its been almost 1 month and still they have not fixed the issue. Every week I have to email them to find out status. They have never let me know what's going on without me having to first email them. They claim they cant do anything, even though they are the ones who recommended and sold me the equipment. I have sent them 3 other customers and paid them on time and honored my part of the contract.MY RECOMMENDATION IS DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY. I WOULD ALSO NEVER RECOMMEND BUYING ANY POOL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURED BY HAYWARD.

    Can't give 0 stars for this company, so they get one. I called today 06/24 with a simple 1 minute question. The clueless customer service person told me to submit my info and question online, and someone would get back to be in possibly 3 or more days. So basically NO PHONE TECH SUPPORT!!! After numerous calls, I got in touch with a 3rd party rep that called me back and answered my question as to why my pump would run for 15 minutes, over heat and shut off. Great product, but when all your tech support is via email and clueless people in customer support, I will buy from another company.

    Our pool is 2 1/2 years old all parts are suppose to be under warranty as per our pool installation company LGD pools .Hayward reps *********************** .************************ representative has given our pool installer the run around for 2 months finally a service rep from H20 pools in ************** calls was supposed to check out the units 3 no show appointments hayward doesn't honor there warranty or products just purchased a new control board $400 n the heat exchanger is bad the company is telling the pool installer must be the chemicals check the water any excuse not to honor the warranty , The pool installer has done all ******************* s***e installation, Professional pool service *** has maintained the pool all along. Hayward is not the company it used to be good luck trying to have a customer service rep help in any way. Still waiting for a call from Hayward its been s***e April 10 th . DONT BUY HAYWARD POOL PRODUCTS THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THERE PRODUCTS AT ALL

    Has anyone had problems with their Hayward pool heater Gas Control Valve? Ours is only six years old and needs to be replaced.
