As the National Sales Director for a global biotech company, I managed a team of 48 and oversaw $63 million in revenue. After two and a half years, I was blindsided by a sudden layoff due to a massive reorganization. It shook my confidence. I questioned myself: Why me? After jumping from unsatisfactory job to unsatisfactory job for years, it became clear to me that I needed to make a change in the industry I was working in to find something more stable, enjoyable, and that afforded me the work-life balance I needed at this stage in my life with two elementary school aged kids. I was overwhelmed at the thought of figuring out how to change my entire professional direction and everything that came with it: my mindset, how to search, where to search, how to network, resume, LinkedIn, etc. I didn't know where to start and I was fearful I'd just be spinning my wheels to get a director-level position with little prior direct industry experience.I needed help and found The Barrett Group. They worked with me at the speed I needed (which was quick due to needing income) and provided the support, know-how, training, and tools that I needed to effectively search for the type of job I wanted. They helped me through the anxiety of such a difficult task, breaking down step-by-step the hows, whens, wheres and whys of job searching and preparing to sell myself to potential employers. The Barrett Group brought order to my chaos. I was competing for positions with thousands and thousands of other candidates and could not get my resume past AI filters. I knew I was qualified but had no way of getting in front of any decision-makers. TBG helped me approach my job search from several different angles all at the same time. I had to work very hard to get through this program and there were times I was very frustrated and struggling. That being said, I decided to trust the process and continue forward. I didn't find a new job the way I envisioned, however by learning to advocate for myself I landed a job that is absolutely amazing! Plus there is great growth opportunities to get me back on track with my career plans quickly. I cannot express my appreciation any other way than to simply say "thank you"! Now I look in the mirror and see the value I bring and there is no way to put a dollar amount on that feeling. My recommendation would be for anyone considering this program would be to trust the process and do the work. You will grow and it may hurt a bit, but you can do this!!!!The Barrett Group, LLC

1 starWent through the full program. Clarity, networking training, etc. and felt like it was perhaps the biggest waste of money Ive ever encountered. For free, watch some ******* videos on how to use linked in & search your network, and then basically reach out to your people asking for ********************* Certainly not worth $10,000. The folks were nice, but were essentially spending sessions with me reading off of a script or teasing me basic functions of linked in. It felt like someone wrote a 50 page training program and then read it to me over the course of 1 hour sessions.It was sold to me as this fantastic company with a great network of recruiters and industry professionals. Not at all the case. They blast out an email to tons of recruiters that arent even in a relevant industry. It was embarrassing to be honest, and I had multiple of THOSE SAME recruiters recommend I stop using the Barrett Group. You could tell they had a bad reputation.I think for everything they went through with me, I got 1 interview dont waste your time or money. I wasnt sure what to expect, but indeed the program really helped me gain insights on my unique strengths and and skills and helped me better define the value that I can bring to a company. This TBG company is great company for a career change and to land on to an executive level jobs.
