I was trying to apply for a loan on 3/6/24 and loanservicesusa.com had me fill out information at this site. I was to pay $1 to get verified but the site would not accept the $1 said I was already a member. The company said don't worry about it, you won't be charged. I'm looking for a loan because I need money and they are taking money I don't have. I didn't agree to pay $39.90.Business Response

We are not loanserviceusa. We do not take orders over the phone and there would be no way she spoke to someone during the ordering process. The only way to sign up is to complete a 4 page online form, provide full payment information, accept the offer terms and successfully complete a verification of identity. ****************** did all this from an IP address located in the same city and state ****************** lives. On March 24, ****************** contacted customer service to cancel. She was immediately canceled. ****************** was not eligible for a refund, however, as a courtesy one has been issued. The first notification we received indicating he wished to discontinue services was the receipt of this complaint. Freescorefast.com was the main company they promised refund which i never got itand now im being charged **** after no refund and after telling them i wanted it closed and on top of it im being charge the exact same amount by scrhug.com and crdfx.com so i know these companies have to all be related some way i just want my original refund and them to actually close my account instead of still trying to charge me and also use other companies pleaseBusiness Response

As ************ indicated she did sign up for services. ************ was billed the monthly fee of $29.95 for services on November 3. She then contacted us and indicated she couldn't afford the fee, and at that time she was offered, and accepted a lower monthly rate of $7.95, effective the next month billing. A refund was issued for the $29.95 billed on November 3. This complaint is the first indication that ************ was requesting to cancel. I have been charged a fee of ***** monthly and I NEVER signed up for services from a company called CRDFX.COM I cannot see all of my credit card statements. However I know it has been charged the last four months WITHOUT my authorization. I do not even have an account to log onto their website when I tried to contact ***************** This is fraudulent. Shame on this company taking money from a single mom raising a daughter with ***** special needs and putting another daughter through graduate school. I spent 25 minutes on hold and then another 15 minutes having to repeat myself constantly. We have no idea what was supposedly signed up for and when told we wanted to cancel was offered multiple discounted memberships instead.Business Response

On may 2nd I was charged $39.90 for a monthly subscription and I have no idea why ! As ****************** indicated he did sign up for credit monitoring services on March 28. Records indicate his $1 fee was successful and was taken to the portal upon signup to access his credit scores and reports. Upon completion of his trial, his card was initially declined for the monthly fee. We understand from this correspondence that this is why ****************** did not call to cancel the service. July 5 2022 I noticed a withdrawal from my bank account for *****. I did sign up for a 7 day free trial. I cancelled my free trial the same day. Advertising was misleading. Not what I was looking for. I was charged 3! Times in December, July 5 and Nov 7th. I'm legally deaf I couldn't call. So I chatted with them on the site to cancel membership. The assured me it's cancelled. I chatted with them today and I was told they have no record of me chatting with a agent to cancel. That's a freaking lie. I was told since it's not on record I won't be charged again, Totally avoiding the fraudulent charges on my bank account.Business Response

The trial ************ signed up for was a $1 7 day trial, followed by a monthly membership until canceled. This was clearly and conspicuously posted and in no way was misleading. The first time she contacted customer service was on December 11th via online chat. She requested to be canceled and was canceled immediately. She also requested a refund, and a courtesy refund was issued. This all happened prior to the receipt and filing of this complaint. At the time of the sign up ************** provided the email address ************************ and in order to be billed ************** had to go through 4 signup pages and provide her date of birth, social security number, and give her full credit card billing information including her full 16-digit card and then agreed to the offer terms. ************** was sent multiple emails informing her of changes to her credit report indicating that we were working diligently on her behalf. Even though ************** could have contacted us at anytime requesting her account be cancelled, the first indication we received that she didn't wish to continue with the services was the receipt of this complaint. Upon received the complaint ****************** account was immediately cancelled and even though she was not eligible for a refund, a courtesy refund has been issued. As ************** did sign up for service then never contacted us to cancel, we request this complaint be closed.
