Well first off we bought our house in 2018. Loved the house other than them not mentioning the power line easement behind our house. Our fault for not knowing any better. Our problem is the new houses built across the road from us. Since they started building we've had construction debris blow into our yard. I've picked it up numerous times. It still blows into our yard it looks like a dump. I think they should have someone to pick it up. We shouldn't have to pick it up. You can plainly see it's construction material. Have called and emailed numerous times to no avail. Very disappointed in Enchanted it's all about the money for them.

We felt the Enchanted warranty department was unethical, unfair and mislead us concerning our neighbor’s grading issues. On May 11th, equipment including bobcats, CAT bulldozers and drainage riprap rock were parked and dumped on our property with the intention of creating a 130 foot berm at the end of our property without our acknowledgment, agreement or permission. After the unpleasant and incompetent way we were put on the spot, we agreed to allow this project to move forward on our property, even though we had no drainage issues. Our intention was to help our neighbors any way we could. Unfortunately this strategy to divert the water failed. A new warranty manager reached out to us and gave us his word that he “would go above and beyond” to rectify this disaster. Specifically he stated a number of times that bermuda sod would be placed along the entire shelf and swale to prevent any erosion. Additional components to this project were added which included a regrading of partial pieces of our property and bermuda sod was placed where necessary. We were told a mix of millet and bermuda seed would be hydro-seeded and covered with straw in all other unsodded areas to again, prevent erosion. We watered the sod and hydro seed consistently, but after a few weeks, the millet grass that had grown, died, and the Bermuda never took. However after partial completion of the work, the warranty manager terminated the remainder of the project and ceased communication with us without an explanation. As a result, our backyard has a few rows of sod and dead millet. We are assuming no bermuda was added because there isn’t any bermuda growing anywhere they hydro-seeded and we were diligent in watering. As for the original berm, it was essentially left as is with a small amount of sod placed around the industrial drainage rocks. Our home is beautiful and we love our craftsmen home very much. We wanted to do the right thing and we felt we were cooperative and understanding. What we ended up with is a backyard we haven’t been able to enjoy since we moved in on March 2021. An effort was made to remedy the situation left by the original team, and initially we felt confident in placing our trust in the new manager and patient with the process. We are disappointed in the outcome to say the least. There was no courtesy call explaining why the project - that Enchanted initiated - was abruptly terminated. We were told a mixture of grasses would be spread but instead we now have more work to clear out the millet. We will have to pay to get the industrial rock removed so we can choose something more aesthetically pleasing. Lastly, the promise to cover the berm with sod was never done for reasons that were not communicated. This is not an example of going “above and beyond”.
