Love the care and attention they provide to make healthy pets and educated owners. From the careavan services for vaccines to spay and neuter clinic to wellness care to boarding and day care to adoptions, this is an all-in-one pet care facility. Clean facility and happy volunteers and staff make this a no-brainer for all your dog or cats needs!

Pawmetto does not care about the animals only in it for money. This place is ran unprofessionally and they're not honest people.

Ms. Candace Bienaime, while you may not agree with our policies, your comments about our organization are simply not true or fair.    These policies are based on our values and serving the community in a professional manner with a high level of integrity.  Your family adopted a 3 month old puppy and returned the puppy in three days.  Our staff spent a great deal of time with your family to ensure that you were ready to commit to a dog for 12-15 years. Puppies are like children and have to be taught good manners. We offered training for this puppy and you were not interested.  This was a great opportunity to teach your two teenage children about working through training and socialization issues with a puppy and honoring a commitment that you made when you adopted from Pawmetto Lifeline.    We do not believe animals should be treated as disposable property.  We are a service organization that is not supported financially by Lexington or Richland Counties.  We serve our community because we care and we invest millions of dollars a year helping people and pets so please know, its not about the money and we do care greatly for both people and pets.

My dogs had been on the prescription drug plan for Heartworms/fleas. More than a month ago, took them for their Heartworm test, and then contacted the prescription refill department. Followed up 2 days later with tech. It’s been a month, 2 voice messages and no response. Can’t get anyone to respond! This is very, very poor customer service and the flea season is really impacting my dogs!

Watch out about using this place for TNR. If they want the cat, they will threaten an Animal Control visit to your house. Forced me to surrender a friendly feral for diarrhea issue & said I couldn't treat & it would cost $200 to get fixed at vet. I was so upset about how they strong armed me, I talked to two other vets who were appalled at how I was treated and the both said it sounds like they just wanted to keep your cat! And they wouldn't charge that much to medicate or address a diet issue. The condition is caused by diet of mice or domestic food allergy. These are outside, feral cats. I don't control what they eat. I am just trying to help reduce the feral cats and shouldn't be threatened when I come in for a procedure. These outside ferals don't deserve to be cooped up inside at a foster home after they take your cat from you. This behavior needs to be addressed and stopped. People are just trying to do the right thing by using TNR program. The staff act superior to their customers and I have heard several complaints of this attitude. People still care about ferals or they wouldn't TNR them. The owner needs to address these serious problems or people will stop helping the ferals.

Pawmetto Lifeline is a scam. They are only in business to collect money. I fostered a puppy. The next day they told me that my application to adopt was accepted. A fee of $550.00. They wanted to neuter a Great Pyrenees 11 week old, i refused. They insisted I bring the puppy in for shots. Sadly, I did. Then they told me to re-sign the adoption papers and "don't read, just sign on the pink highlights". I was then told to keep the puppy it would cost an additional $200.00. I refused. I was told that I am "unfit". They never called my references or visited my home. The owner and another employee then informed me they were keeping the puppy. And if I didn't leave, Police would be called. Both women aggressively attacked me. Causing me to go to the hospital. Charges were filed against one. The authorities told me they are called to this place, "All the time". I have owned 2 other Great Pyrenees, one received a Longevity Award from the Great Pyrenees AKC. My record with animals is superb. Most people say, if they come back as an animal, they want me as their owner. This is a For Profit abusing a Not for Profit statis.
