    On July 3rd I placed an order on brighter blooms.com to purchases some strawberries for my garden and the rest were plants totally with tax $149.66 which I paid through PayPal credit. When the transaction was complete it stated that my transaction was pending. It stayed that way for a week as I was checking on my order because I had an acct. In the meantime 2 days later someone from that business tried to make a fraudulent purchase through my PayPal acct which was blocked on July 5th for $490.98. On July 5th they also tried to get into my Gmail acct, I was able to determine this my the phone number used to get into my acct that matched their phone number for customer service ( This was discovered however until the 19th when I realized the business scammed me) On July 9th or so I logged onto my acct like I had been doing and my order stated that it was ********* July 19th I logged back onto my acct there was no longer an order history, my address, a purchase history, a refund, anything. The only thing it showed was my email address and my username which was my my GMAIL ACCT I contacted ********************** and of course they have no history of me in there system whatsoever including my payment. They wanted my to have screenshots of the sales receipts. I did call PayPal and they are going after this fraudlant company

    My PayPal receipt is to that company.  They changed the name of whom it goes too.  They deleted all of my information so they can keep my money.   I want my money back at this point forget an exchange.  I want a refund.   They are scamming me.

    I purchased a ******* Pear Tree - 5-6 Ft for $159.99 on 10/07/23.I received it dormant mid October. In the summer it started growing from the grafting joint but no leaves on the entire tree. The top appears to be dead. They responded that it passed the 30 day warranty but I received it dormant with no way of knowing until it wakes up in spring/summer. Sorry but a failed graft is not due to negligence on my part. I also provided pictures as evidence.

    My mother bought me a pomegranate tree for Christmas. It was supposed to be a 1-gal plant and it arrived in a quart pot with a 1-gallon label on it. The plant had a rough trip here and so I had to put it back into its pot. The plant was actually a very recently repotted, from a 4-inch pot into the quart pot. Had I not known the plant was in the wrong size pot they would have gotten away with scamming me. My mother also paid extra to get the 1-year warranty on the plant, but there was nothing inside the packaging telling my daughter that this was included, which is also a deceitful act on their behalf. Again, had I not mentioned it while dealing with customer service, she never would have known. I contacted customer service and they contacted the ********************** who supposedly said yes it was their mistake, so they have no 1-gallon pomegranates available. They offered to refund the money to my mother, but it is a Christmas present, so I would have gotten nothing. I asked for a persimmon tree as a replacement and they wouldn't do that because the issue was with the condition of the plant, which is untrue. The issue is the fact that they sent a 4-inch plant instead of a gallon plant and almost got away with it. I am working to get some plant from them, but as of right now I don't know if that will happen.I am writing this because I know they sent those little 4-inch plants out to other people before Christmas and they deserve to know they were sent the wrong plants, and they should correct that. Their customer service person was very nice and tried to be helpful, but her hands are tied with what she can do.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I will be satisfied as long as

    1)  I receive the tree they said is coming, and

    2) That it is alive and leaves out in the spring. 

     I do however think they should notify the other recipients of the "mislabeled" plants and give them an unexpected store credit for the difference in the cost between a quart plant and a gallon plant, as an act of Goodwill.

    On July 12th 2023 I placed an online order from Brighter Bloom nursery for a red dragon Japanese Maple. On July 18th I received my order from brighter Bloom. Once I open the package I realized that they had send me a Japanese Maple, but it was not a red dragon. I contacted Brighter Bloom via phone to inform them of this error. I showed them pictures of the red dragon ****** that I currently own and discussed how they are consistent in appearance with the red dragon Japanese ****** that Brighter Bloom displays on their website. They apologize for the error and said they would make it right. Today, July 23, 2023, I received a package from Brighter Bloom and again its not a red dragon. At this point, since they cant provide what they advertise and what I ordered, I want a full refund.

    I bought a 6 to 7 foot Blenheim apricot tree for my mothers 83rd birthday. It arrived in dismal shape. The leaves werent only wilting, they were withering, curling into themselves. And some of the leaves had been eaten by insects, and had turned yellow and brown. (see pics). I WOULD NEVER PAY $200 at any store for a plant that looks like this. Im not sure I can describe how embarrassed and let down I feel that this dying thing is the gift that I gave my 83 year old mother.I mean, really? Im going to ask for a replacement and full refund. I cant f***ing believe that this is how my moms bday will be remembered. Mistakes and unanticipated situations can happen. So Im not going to make some blanket statement about brighter, blooms or fast growing trees.DESIRED SETTLEMENT IS REPLACEMENT AND REFUND. I will let you know how this is resolved.

    Additionally, the true measure of customer service becomes apparent when an issue needs to be resolved  

    BrighterBlooms was exemplary and clearly explained my options.

    When the brown leafed, wilted apricot tree arrived at my moms for her birthday, I was unhappy.  Sending your mother a dead tree on her 83rd birthday does not send a very positive message.

    After I sent images of the condition of the tree, brighter blooms was quick to respond to me.

    If the tree was sent to me, I would only have asked for a replacement. However, given that it was a gift, they also provided a 50% refund as well as replacement. 

    All of this was handled quickly and quite professionally.

    I would buy from them again.

    I received a **** Magnolia Tree today, 05/24/23 that cost me $140 and upon opening the box, I realized the tree and my hand were swarming with ants. I called Brighter Blooms and the customer service representative offered to ship out a new tree and discount me $20, which I accepted. My issue, however, is that I cannot just leave a tree with live ants sitting out and waiting for trash day next week. I need to treat the ants to some degree so they dont spread and infest my yard or other plants. I believe I should receive a full refund based on this principle. This is just totally unacceptable. I could even understand being sent an unhealthy tree, but I have no idea how someone picked and packaged this tree with selectiveness and care, as the Brighter Blooms website suggests. It is literally covered in live ants. In seconds, my hand was covered and they were crawling all over the shipping box. Quality control fail, Brighter Blooms!

I did review your ticket and am going to go ahead and issue a full refund for your order.     I bought a banana tree from Brighter Blooms and after a few days the leaves started to fall off and it only had only 4-5 leaves on it. I thought I did something wrong to it and that cost me over a $100. I then bought a avocado tree and when it arrived it had holes in the leaves. I called them and they said it was from a humidifier. Now all the leaves are falling off the tree and looks like it's dying. It gets enough water and this tree cost me about a $150. The trees I guess are not healthy and they told me I couldn't plant them outside.

    2 Avocado trees purchased in December 2021 arrived dried out & sickly. Very few leaves other than the many dead leaves in the shipping box. Over the next few months, I did everything right to bring these trees to a healthy state. Im an expert gardener & study soil quality/optimization for fun. Grew up on a farm. Still, the plants struggled. By May, it was clear that one of the trees was dead - the trunk turned black slowly, from top to roots. The 2nd tree of this order has been barely holding on. It hasnt grown taller & only has a few leaves. Their website claims high quality plants, not true. When I tried to redeem my warranty & appeal to their pledge to customer service excellence, they would not refund - only a gift certificate for a future purchase. As I said to the customer service rep today, I dont trust the quality of their plants. I spent way too much time trying to save these plants.If I dont trust the quality of ************** poor shipping practices (roots should not be bone dry at time of delivery). If my only option is a store credit - I feel scammed. Please refund my credit card. I will never buy from Brighter Blooms or their sister brands. I will never recommend them. Wasting several months on subpar plants is an emotional hit as well. My plants are my pets. I was so excited to have avocados. My dreams have been smashed.

    Our plants are covered under a 30 day Alive and Thrive guarantee which issues a replacement should our pants fail t thrive within 30 days of delivery. We request notice within 30 day of delivery for 30 day guarantee claims. We also offer an optional one year warranty that can be added at checkout. Since we sell perishable items, we do not issue refunds under our warranty and can issue store credit or one time replacements for plants that have perished with the added warranty.
