I brought a 2011 ********** ****** ** February 21st. My lancer transmission went out on June the 14th they had my car in the shop for 4 months. Heather A***** the financial manager and Ben the manager of burns kept my keys saying I need to make a payment of a $1000 to be able to get my car back. My car is under warranty and I have documentation to prove that. I was out of work because they had my car for 4 months before giving me a rental to drive for two weeks. They claim my car is fixed but how can that be proven if I never test drove it? I stopped making payments on the car because they weren’t fixing my car and they kept stalling me telling me different things. They gave me a terrible rental car in Aug on the 21st for two weeks after having my car a whole 4 months. The rental had bad cv joints that were popping loud and scrubbing at the wheel and the wheel could have falling off the car while driving it. Both back doors on the side are broke so you weren’t able to get back in. I notified them if the complaints and they told me to drive it and they’ll come pick me up if anything happened. The rental car cut off September 20, 2024 as I was going to pick my children up from the bus stop. I didn’t make it to get them because I was stranded on the side of the road so I had to make other arrangements. The dealership was also aware of that. It needed an oil change, check engine light stays on, the car was dirty from the front and back all the way around. I received the car with no gas on aug 21st.

Took my trailblazer to them they charged me 135 to diagnose my car which was not diagnosed and then had to be towed to my home. A week after they received it. My car was later fixed and running in less then 3 hours by a non licensed mechanic.

Mrs ********** called us in July to ask us to look at her 2005 Trailblazer for a no start. It had been looked at by another repair shop, who could not figure out what was wrong with it. We told her that we could look at it for her, at our $135 diagnosis fee, based on that information. Once it got here and my service manager looked at the vehicle, he said he has never seen a vehicle with as many wires hanging down under the dash in his almost 20 years in the car business. We decided to keep moving forward and had a technician work on the vehicle. Our technician spent 4 hours trying to chase the correct wires to make the repair, but had trouble because of how badly the wires were hanging down. He repaired many of the wires but after the 4 hours, we called the customer and said that we can continue working on your vehicle, but we will have to charge by the hour from this point on. She told us that she did not want to do that, but would pay the $135 diagnosis fee for our work. Although we feel we clearly communicated with the customer and spent more time on her vehicle than we charged her for, Matt our service manager is calling her today to offer her a refund for the $135 diagnosis fee. Please let me know if you have any questions.

After a non licensed mechanic was able to track down the problem in less than 4 hours and had my car running I feel that burns owes me a refund since v they spent more time on vehicle and it was still unsolved their mechanic never called to speak with me. I called numerous times and never once was even spoke to him.. they are suppose to be a reputable business who should been able to fix the vehicle. If they would of actually spent that time my car. But they didn't.
