    Hello ************ *************

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns regarding the deposit and paperwork. We appreciate the opportunity to provide clarification.

After reviewing our records, we can confirm that you signed both the Retail Buyer's Order and Card Authorization via the email you provided to us. Both forms outline the terms of the agreement, including the policy that deposits are non-refundable. As stated in the contract, refunds are contingent upon financing approvals (these signed forms can be provided upon request).

Additionally, we want to emphasize that Diamond Truck Sales Inc. does not control or determine financing terms. Loan approvals, down payment requirements, and monthly payment amounts are established by banks and financial institutions based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s credit history, unit cost, lender policies, and market conditions. While we assist in facilitating the financing process, the final approval and terms are solely determined by the lending institution. Financing terms may also be subject to change based on the lender’s final review, which can result in adjustments to down payment amounts, interest rates, or monthly payments. These changes are beyond our control and are dictated by the financial institution providing the loan.

If you have any further questions or require additional clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us at ******************************** ** *************

Please everybody stay away from this company. I contacted Haley in diamond truck sales in Gaffney , South Carolina about purchasing a semi truck, she took information over the phone then she called me back telling me that I was approved for the truck with a $12000 down PAYMENT so I paid a $1000 deposit to hold the truck the same day. But over the next couple of days, I got no phone calls from her, than the finance manager Todd P***** email me telling me that he got me approved but now the down payment was $16000 than days later i call Todd back and he put me off on the off on the Branch manager Jeremiah, who told me then now i got approved but they would need $20000 down payment . Which this makes 3 times when somebody say a didn't get me approved. Which has supposed to been approved with the first phone call from the beginning, but they lied to me and I never got approved from nobody. They kept running my credit and running my credit through the system to get . Ever phone call was for more money . And now they will not refund me. My money because they lied to me in the beginning, sayng they had me approved if they didn't. This company is doing bad business and fracturely business

This company has predatory tactics. First off before providing loan applications they requested down payment right away. I was then called up for a deployment and they said I can't get refund. Even though payment was received before application was taken and processed. Refund me all my money.

    Dear ******

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns regarding the deposit and paperwork. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify this matter.

After reviewing our records, we want to highlight that you signed the Retail Buyer's Order and the Card Authorization Form, both of which outline the terms of the agreement, including the policy that deposits are non-refundable. As stated in these documents, refunds are contingent upon financing approvals.

In your case, you received an approval at —$5,545 down. While you were originally quoted at —$10,500 the approval you received matches the agreed-upon down payment amount and is well within standard financing adjustments.

We understand the importance of ensuring clarity in these matters. If you would like, we can provide copies of the signed documents for your reference.

I was told it comes with a 90 day warranty. But they said I didn't pay for it. I haven't had the truck for 3 months or even put 10,000 on the truck. I'm having battery voltage problems trans problems. I'm not the only one with these same problems. I put $12,000 down and now I have a vehicle that I can't use. I owe like $50,000 on the truck. I'm probably going to have to go out of business. I just want my truck to work so I can take care of my family. They have ********** fixing the trucks and are cutting corners. I purchased it on September 17,2024. I just want my truck fixed.

Thank you for reaching out to share your concerns regarding your truck. We understand how frustrating this situation must be, and we appreciate the opportunity to provide clarity.

At the time of your purchase on September 17, 2024, a 90-day warranty was offered but was declined by you (please see attached). I put a down payment on a 26 foot international box truck in July. Before I got the truck the lift gate and the oil pressure was not accurate. It took them 2 weeks to fix before I got the truck. Then two months of me having the truck the start went out. It took them another two weeks for them to process the claim. They denied the claim then had process the claim again then fix it after another week. Now the transmission do not work. Also ask for a diagnostic report on the vehicle never received one and they said they do not have one and they never did one. They company said they do not want to fix the truck also ask for multiple options and still have not received an answer. I have lost money and time . This is the worst company to buy from.

    Business Response

    Hi ********

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We truly understand how frustrating unexpected vehicle issues can be, and we’re sorry to hear about the challenges you’ve faced with your truck.
When the truck was purchased in July, it had 171,248 miles on it, and it has since been driven over 23,000 miles. Unfortunately, because the vehicle was purchased without a warranty and given the mileage and time since the purchase, we’re unable to assist financially in this situation.

Regarding the diagnostic report, we want to clarify that a report was not performed at the time of sale because no warranty was purchased. While we strive to ensure the quality of our vehicles, a diagnostic is typically conducted under warranty coverage or as part of a service agreement.

At the time of purchase, an extended warranty was offered but was declined by you, and the truck was purchased “as-is.” While we make every effort to ensure the quality of our vehicles, with pre-owned trucks, unexpected breakdowns can occur, which is why we always recommend purchasing a warranty for added protection.

We understand the inconvenience this has caused and are here to answer any further questions or provide guidance as needed. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at ******************************** if there’s anything else we can do to assist you.

    Sincerely,
Support at Diamond Truck Sales Inc.

I had went on Diamond truck sales inc website for SC Gaffney location in which I saw a semi I was interested in called up got in touch with a agent name Sophia in which she helped with the scheming of my money I paid 5k down at first to hold the truck just to be notified days after it was sold. She then forced a similar unit onto me told me my deposit in total would be 11k I paid the additional fee with the mindset and confidence gain from Sophia that the truck would be ready to pick up and with no issues. On 10/30/24 I flew out there to pick up the truck and upon arrival at there property she wanted me to sign the paperwork’s in which I declined until I look and test drive the unit she said okay, took me to the back showed me the truck and I got in started the unit sat there for it to build up then put it in drive and the truck made a horrible shook a feeling you get from a unit having transmission problems or worse I switched it off and on then drove not even 200 feet on there property to get the road paperwork for test drive and the truck broke down right there and was forced to be pulled around there shop. I had to book a Uber back to airport and booked a flight back home in which I was told I would be reimbursed fully for my travel expenses and yet I’ve not received any compensation, now I’ve been getting the run around and they are refusing on giving me money refunded no one wants to answer any calls last I heard was the truck will be fix even though I’ve been adamant that I don’t want the unit I need my refund in which they are refusing to do. It’s been days I’ve been having breakdowns mentally and financially lost contracts I was set to endorse but because of there unprofessional schemes of scamming drivers out there money I’m in a situation home and my mental health going down. They are multiple and it’s shocking on there website reviews.

On August 8, 2024, my business, ******* **** initiated the purchase of a truck from Diamond Truck Sales Inc. We made a $10,000 down payment, and the loan for the remaining amount was approved on September 13, 2024. However, as of October 18, 2024, we still have not received the truck, nor have we been given clear communication regarding its delivery. Initially, when we attempted to pick up the truck, the specifications were incorrect. We selected another vehicle, which was supposed to be ready by September 27, 2024. Since then, I have reached out multiple times without receiving any clear update. I emailed Jeremiah, the general manager, on October 4, 2024, and again on October 8, 2024, but I have yet to receive any response. On October 9, I spoke with Victoria, who was supposed to be working on resolving the delays. On October 14, Olu, the sales representative, informed us that the truck was ready for pickup. Based on this information, we traveled to South Carolina to collect the truck. However, upon arrival, we were told that Jeremiah still needed to sign off on the truck. When contacted, Jeremiah passed the blame back onto Victoria, resulting in further delays and no clear resolution. Despite numerous attempts to call, text, and email since October 9, I have received no response or follow-up from any representatives at Diamond Truck Sales Inc. This lack of communication, combined with the delays, has severely impacted my business operations. We have incurred costs for insurance, new staff, and payroll in preparation for the truck’s arrival, yet we remain without the vehicle and without any clear communication from Diamond Truck Sales Inc. At this point, I am requesting one of two resolutions: 1. Immediate delivery of the truck, with compensation for the delays. 2. A full refund of my down payment and all related expenses, with termination of the purchase agreement.

    Customer Answer

The dealership has resolved the issue. I appeared to had been a human error on the sales reps end that triggered the delay. Nonetheless a delay that cost my business a month without, however I’m willing to close the complaint to cut ties and move forward.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter,

I was interested in purchasing a commercial truck I went to Diamond truck Sales in Houston Texas on August 2nd I put a deposit of 2000 on my credit card to hold the truck. I found a truck that I liked in SC Diamond truck sales. The next morning August 3rd I let the location in Houston know I was no longer interested in the truck they had and requested a refund. I waited for the refund never got it so I disputed it with my credit card company I never got the refund so I spoke to the manager at the truck lot in SC he said not to worry they could transfer the deposit to the truck i was buying. I called my credit card company and told them the dispute had been resolved. I purchased the truck in SC cash on August 29th. I have been requesting the title from Diamond Truck sales they refuse to give me the title stating I owe them 2000. Dollars I have sent them all documentation showing I was never credited the 2000 and a letter from my credit card company thanking me for letting them know the dispute was resolved they continue to hold my title as we are at 40 days after the sale. I have sent all statements as well showing no credit was given. I need my title.

    Business Response

    Date: 10/25/2024

    Hi ******

Thank you for reaching out, and we apologize for the confusion regarding your title. We’d like to clarify the process and what took place with your deposit.

When a chargeback is initiated, neither party has control over the funds; rather, the money is held until the dispute is resolved by the bank. We understand that this caused delays, but please note that it was previously explained that the title could not be released while the chargeback was still open.

As soon as the chargeback was confirmed closed by your bank, we promptly arranged for your title to be overnighted, ensuring you received it as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your understanding, and if you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

On September 10, 2024 I purchased a 2020 ********** I made cash purchase of $42,850.00 for the truck. I also purchased a 90 day warranty for $650.00. The check engine light came on about one to half of hours from the dealership heading back home. I called them to informed them about the problem I was having, Diamond trucks told me I could bring it back or take it to a Mom and Pop shop for a diagnostic and send it to them,I take it ********* in Harleyvill, SC that was closer to me than taking it back to Gaffney, SC. Diagnostic disable to speed sensor was melted onto the Turbo. Peterbilt said the only way to warranty work is to replace turbo with speed sensor in the price estimated price $12,000. Diamond trucks agreed with myself and Peterbilt that they would pay for repairs (9/19/2024) that was agreement that made. On ( 9/23/2024) l was told by Diamond Trucks (Victoria) told me I would have to have the truck towed back to Gaffney at my expense. Hi Karl,

We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any frustrations during your recent purchase experience. We would like to address the situation and provide clarification on several important points. Diamond Truck Sales communicated two options to the customer: either bring the truck back to our Gaffney, SC location for diagnostics and repairs, or take it to a local “Mom and Pop” shop for an initial diagnostic and send the report back to us for further action. However, the customer opted to take the truck to ********* in Harleyville, SC, which was outside of the agreed-upon plan.

We offered to cover the cost of the necessary part and arranged to have it shipped directly to ********** but unfortunately, ********* declined this arrangement, limiting our ability to proceed fully as intended. To support the customer, we then offered $3,800 toward the repair bill or to send the parts directly to them, yet both options were declined.

Additionally, certain items, including service, fuel, a mattress, a fire extinguisher, and triangles, were not part of the original purchase agreement. While we would have been open to discussing these items had they been raised before the sale, they fall outside our responsibility as they were not included in the initial agreement.

Diamond Truck Sales remains committed to assisting the customer and is available for any further questions at . We are dedicated to working together to resolve any outstanding concerns.

This is my third truck purchase and by far the worse experience EVER. Started with a 10k holding fee/down payment that I was told was non refundable if they got my business an approval which they did but the terms of the loan was horrible. So either I lose the 10k or move along with the deal. My sales person sits in Gaffney but the truck I wanted was in Ft. Worth TX I was told they all work together and are one company. They act more like competitors. Texas wanted nothing to do with my transaction everything was contact Gaffney. They didn’t want to include a mattress with the truck. My driver arrived to pick up the truck and was told that TX couldn’t issue a plate it had to come from Gaffney where the manager Jeremiah informed he didn’t have any plates and had to wait for the DMV to issue more. While all this is transpiring my driver is paying hotel expenses. Jeremiah sent me a contract without the dealer portion being signed attesting to the accuracy of the odometer reading I refused to sign until his portion was complete he sent it again with only one check box initialed when there are two. I called everywhere I could for assistance and have been handled so poorly. Still my truck is in TX my driver from Ohio just checked out the hotel and the saga continues. I WOULD NEVER AGAIN MAKE A PURCHASE FROM THESE CROOKS. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED DOLLARS ELSEWHERE WHERE YOU CAN RECEIVE THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT YOU DESIRE AND WORK WITH HONORABLE BUSINESS PEOPLE. YOU WONT GET THAT AT DIAMOND TRUCKS. I failed to mention when the financing was occurring I received calls and texts 5-6-7 times a day. Now that the funding has taken place I’m constantly getting voice message. RUN RUN RUN After reading my review they attempted to bully me to take it down stating they would complete the repairs and I would forfeit all legal action. I refused to sign

An agreement was reached between ****** ***** and Diamond Truck Sales. However we would like to address some of the concerns that were raised.

First, since the truck purchase was handled by our Gaffney location, only Gaffney could legally issue the necessary license plates; unfortunately, this step couldn't be completed in Texas. We recognize this caused delays, and we apologize for the inconvenience it caused.

Regarding the $10,000 holding fee, please note that this amount would not have been forfeited. Had you chosen not to proceed, the funds would have remained as store credit for future use. Additionally, while a mattress was not initially included in the purchase agreement, we did ensure you received one as part of the final arrangement.

Lastly, we're pleased that Diamond Truck Sales Inc, and you were able to reach an agreement to move forward.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to address these concerns. We remain committed to continuous improvement and appreciate our customers.

    Sincerely,
