A predatory business that uses predatory practices and should be outlawed and shamed for doing this to Americans. They put bogus charges and collect on them through our rigged credit score system

These people masquerading has debt collectors suck,often times you never heard from them before,but suddenly see them appearing your credit report. along side some other companies masquerading has credit repairs.

This company LVNV Funding has been reporting on my credit that I owe 957.00 (Original 12 ****** *** ****), I don ot owe this debt to this collection agency nor have they provided the requested detail to prove I owe said debt (I.e. original signed contract or payment history). To date I have filed with the FTC (7.30.24), as well as send a final request to said collection agency requesting the signed original contract with 12 ****** *** **** and a valid payment history. This company has called me via phone several times even though I have requested they only contact me via written correspondence. Again I do not owe this debt and wish for this company to take the false reporting off my credit report, or provide the signed contract by me of the original debt as wella s my payment history to the original creditor and their signed contract allowing them to pursue collections on this debt I supposedly owe.

I received a summons for court with LVNV being the one who was collecting from a credit card I had placed with a consolidation law firm back in 2018. After doing research on it they never closed the card after it was paid off back in 2022. These people are ridiculous and shouldn't even have a business if they can't follow through on their end of closing an account after its been paid. Instead they go after people the second time trying to get more money out of them. Very crooked company that needs to be shut down.

Worst scammers ever! Sued me for a debt that wasn't mine and I wasn't even at home when "the papers were served." I was overseas for over a month! They lied to the court saying I got the papers when I haven't even seen them. I hope these scammers go bankrupt. LVNV Funding is notorious for underhanded tactics. They buy old debts for pennies on the dollar and then use aggressive and often deceitful methods to collect. In my case, they pursued a debt that wasn't even mine. They claimed to have served me court papers while I was verifiably out of the country. It's baffling how they could fabricate such a blatant lie and get away with it. The stress and inconvenience this has caused me are immeasurable. I had to scramble to gather proof of my travel to contest their false claims, wasting my time and resources. It's infuriating that companies like LVNV Funding can manipulate the legal system to their advantage, preying on innocent people. Their business model thrives on exploiting legal loopholes and taking advantage of those who might not have the means or knowledge to fight back. Furthermore, they have a long history of questionable practices. Numerous complaints have been lodged against them for similar issues – incorrect debt amounts, misidentifying debtors, and filing lawsuits without proper notification. It’s a systemic problem that continues to ruin lives. I sincerely hope that authorities take stronger actions against such predatory companies. There needs to be stricter regulation and oversight to prevent them from continuing these malicious practices. Until then, individuals need to be vigilant and ready to defend themselves against these scammers. SCAMMERS!! Must be going bankrupt and need money fast. I fought for months on a fraudulent credit card. I called and told them when I pulled my credit report that I didn’t have a credit card. “It came to your address”. I don’t care! I don’t have it! Not mine!! Now I’m being sued in court. Not my card. If it were my card I would have paid it just like I do my other cards. Not my card. I wonder how they are doing financially. I think someone needs to check into that! When you make a complaint, you get a computer generated: we will look into this. Nothing happens. So sad. A good company could be a great company but they have no concept of the word trust. There are honest people, lvnv is too blind and money hungry to see it…. Time for a change at the top!
