I received a debt due notice from LVNV Founding LLC by text and, knowing it was a scam since I never have done business with the supposed creditor, I ignored it. A few days later I received a debt due notice, again by text, in the name of my long-deceased husband in the identical amount that had been sent to me. My husband never did business with the supposed creditor either. BEWARE! This is a scam.

Scam bs company with fake contracts, and garnishment of wages of debt that was fraudulent. This is the type of company that forged documentation, and needs to be reviewed by regulatory body. This third party collection agency and the multiple complaints and tactic they use is beyond deplorable. I am 63 years old and they filed a lawsuit against me from a credit card company from 2018. The balance is over 1000. I know for a fact it got that high with all the late fees. I lost my of multiple years due to covid. I could not find a job for three years due to my advanced age. So ,I had to file for ss. I will be 64 soon. I called their attorney to file a hard ship claim. They advised to send any documenttion. So, I submitted multiple bills. She said for me to call back in 30 days. She said if I had to go to court in the interim and they denied I would still have to pay court costs et ect. I filed the hardship due to the fact I can barely afford to pay for electricity, water, mortgage, gas, car payment, food as it is. i have no money to pay court fees ect. I epect them not to care or anyone else. The reviews and their rating of 1 and their tactic are beyond deplorable. From the reputation and reviews they prey on the elderly that r in dire financial straits.. I questioned the amount to the lady i spoke to over the phone that was supposedly their attorney office They said they didn't see any late fees. No, they just see the full amount tacked on by the cc company. She told me to call them back in 30 days to see if my hardship was approved. It shouldn't take then 30 days. they can see the age of their victim and have anything else collected on them. Somehow, with no subpoena, and to my knowledge, no court case, this company is drawing money from my paychecks. I have never entered into contract with this company, nor made any contact with this company, yet they can just come out from under the woodwork and steal my money? I think not.LVNV Funding, LLC

Scam!! This company obtained debt from credit one I paid the debt down to half the original balance then got cancer and couldn't keep paying now they sold the debt to another company for the full balance!! I have screenshot of my account and the balance prior to LVNV shutting down access yet they have sold the debt to another company with a FALSE balance!! This company is a scam do not pay them because you will owe them again anyways!!LVNV Funding, LLC

To whom it may concern, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against LVNV Funding, LLC for providing inaccurate and misleading information to the credit reporting agencies, which has resulted in serious violations of my rights under several federal laws. ******** ****** ******** has failed to accurately report the information related to my credit file, and this inaccurate reporting has caused undue harm and damage to my credit standing. Despite my best efforts to resolve this matter, including sending notarized letters via certified mail to the three major credit bureaus—*******, **********, and ********—to dispute the erroneous information, I have not seen a satisfactory resolution. Your agency’s failure to correct these errors has resulted in a direct violation of the following legal provisions: 14 USC 1671a (4) – This statute prohibits the reporting of false or misleading information that could adversely affect a consumer's creditworthiness. The inaccurate data provided by your agency constitutes a direct violation of this provision. 15 USC 1692c – Under this law, you are prohibited from communicating with consumers in an inappropriate or misleading manner. ******** ****** ******** has violated these provisions by continuing to report false information about my credit status. 15 USC 1681 – This section requires that credit reporting agencies ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data provided to credit reporting agencies. Your failure to correct the erroneous data, even after my notarized dispute, has caused significant harm, including damage to my financial reputation and credit score. The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) – Under the FCRA, consumers have the right to dispute inaccurate information and expect a reasonable investigation into the matter. ******** ****** ********’ failure to conduct a proper investigation or correct the misinformation within the legally required 30-day period constitutes a serious violation of my rights.LVNV Funding, LLC
