I am leasing a '22 **** ***** XLT that came equipped with a set of 4 Michelin Primacy XC light truck tires. This particular tire is rated for 55K miles. After my last two 5000 mile service inspections--at the 20K & 25K mileage marks--the tread on all 4 of those tires has prematurely worn down to 2/32", which is at a level that my Ford dealership is recommending replacement. I cannot currently afford to pay for this replacement nor do I think I should have to, given the poor quality of these tires. Since these tires are classified as 'Original Equipment", a manufacturers warranty to cover their replacement does not exist. I have been negotiating directly with Michelin to replace the tires, but their "goodwill offer" to cover a percentage of the cost of those tires is insufficient, and, in my opinion, falls far short of a multi-billion dollar company standing by their product. Can you help? BUYERS BEWARE

I purchased 4 Michelin tires from ****** on 01/20/22 for my ****** ******. One of the tire had nail few months ago and same tire had a nail few weeks ago, I took the van back to ****** as per warranty, and I was advised by ******,that they won’t repair the tire and I need to purchase a new tire. Because, “ half of thread is gone and the nail was too close to the last repair”. I drove only 22,894 miles with a tire warranty of 80,000 miles. Quality of tire is so bad that I drove only 1/4 of warranty miles and thread is almost gone. Michelin failed to keep the warranty and quality. This tire definitely is defective and at the same time Costco and Micheline are defrauding customers by promising the mileage warranty. Extremely sad. I have been Michelin customer all my life. Very disappointed and have to switch to another brand. What happen to the quality and service?

Bought 4 Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires on 12/26/22, warranty for 70,000 miles. After only 16,600 miles, rear tire blew out. Did not hit anything, no reason for blowout. Michelin would not help in replacing the tire, said we must have hit something, which was not true. They had a recall on these tires in 2012-2013 for blowouts, maybe this is the start of another recall. Will NEVER buy Michelin tires again!

Commander 3 touring tire Cannot get any help from Michelin on resolving the issue or getting the correct Date Code on tire. One CS Rep said you cannot see a tread pattern difference and one said you can! Clearly looking at picture you can tell a tread pattern difference between the 1st and 2nd generation tire. Seen videos on You Tube where they sent Sinister Speed Co a new set but Michelin denying that. Tried calling Corporate and still waiting to hear back from them. This is Clearly a problem Michelin knows about BUT they DO NOT want to HELP me! I'm very disappointed in them.

Bought a brand new **** ***** ******** in November 2021 that have Michelin tires. The tires were of POOR quality as determined by ******* **** ~15K miles of usage. In this 16 month of usage of brand new vehicle with brand new Michelin tires, there was 2 incident happen, one tire got busted and wouldn't replaced by dealer an i had to pay full price for first tire. I had flat tire and went to get tire checked at Discount tire today, They suggested to replace another tire and told me that company used used tire in new vehicle. I got shocked after hearing all this. Now at the end company ask me to replace all 4 tires in 16 month of brand new vehicle. I would not suggest to anyone use Michelin tires, Discount tires told me to contact Michelin to get refund for the 4 tires replacement cost as tires were covered under Michelin warranty. I tried to contacted your customer support no response. I ma not getting the help needed and is frustrating...

Written on Sunday, 3/12/23 Jisch - My review on the Michelin Website "1 out of 5 stars. Quiet ride, but 80,000 miles Gross Exaggeration! 1 out of 5 stars. Quiet ride, but 80,000 miles Gross Exaggeration! Installed at **** *********, ******* **, on 7/16/19, 148,565 on odometer. Fifth tire balancing, and rotation done on 2/5/23 at 175,868 miles. Total tire miles driven to date: 27,303. Tires aligned, proper tire inflation maintained during the summer and winter's different temperature tire pressure fluctuations. Measured both outer and middle tread depth on all four tires on 2/5/23. 5/32", or HALF the evenly worn tread was left on all four tires from the new tire measurement of 10/32", or 5/16". Michelin X-Tour A/S tires are advertised for 80,000 mileage warranty. I have just 27,303 miles to date, instead of the advertised, anticipated 40,000 miles expected at the halfway worn 5/32" tread wear mark. At this rate, tires are projected to achieve approximately 43,684 total miles, only 54% of warranty 80,000 miles after 8/32" total treads cumed. Tires are declared bald/unsafe at 2/32" remaining treads. I've been very conscientious about tire care and maintenance. verstated, hyberbolic, inflated claims to sell tires by manufacturer Michelin? Very disappointed. I hope this review gets published. We'll see......" TIRE RACK'S REVIEW: "In Tire Rack’s instrumented testing, the Defender T+H lags behind more expensive performance all-seasons, not only in dry grip but in the wet as well. Inconsistent tread life has been the most standout issue reported. Others have claimed to be unable to travel much farther than 20,000 miles. Pros Stellar price point among Michelins Quiet on highway Comfortable ride Well-rounded all-weather performance Cons Limited in sizes Inconsistent tread life Less wet weather traction than other all-season offerings" Don 1944, Disappointed (Sept. 2022) I now have 2/32” tread wear left after 42,042 miles on 80,000 Warranty

I purchased a new 2019 **** ****** ****** that came equipped with Michelin tires (to my delight). The Energy Saver AS tires have a 65,000mile warranty. I rotate my tires every 6,000-7000 miles, when I have the oil changed. At 25,500 miles, my service station was unable to rotate the tires due to excessive wear & tear. Using Michelin’s warranty program, I bought a new set of the same tires at a 40% charge from MSRP. The replacement tires lasted only 20,000 miles before wearing out. Not wanting to waste any more money on Michelin tires, I purchased four *********** tires. I asked Michelin for compensation to mitigate my costs of purchasing three sets of tires on a car with less than 47,000 miles on it. A Supervisor named Ashlyn told me that the only way to get compensated was to go through the same warranty process again. Fool me twice… When I asked to speak with Ashlyn’s manager, she said that there was no one higher than she in the company. Between the poor quality of the tires and the complete lack of consideration/respect shown me by Customer Service, I can only suggest that anyone considering buying Michelin tires think twice. Don’t expect any empathy or responsiveness from them, should you encounter a major issue with the tires’ quality. And at Michelin, Customer Service is a euphemism.
