I was looking for an upgraded alternator for my 2006 ***** ****** ** with a 3.9 l. Most alternators I was coming across were about 240 amp, which to me just wasn't big enough. Then I came across JS alternators and they happen to have a 400 amp alternator for my vehicle. After installation I did have a battery light on, but JS alternators was able to determine that I needed a new plug with a sensor wire. They shipped the plug out to me free of charge, also came with instructions on how to set it up. After installation everything is perfect, and I really can't thank them enough for the help provided with the project. The customer service is excellent.

I purchased my Alternator and put it in the garage without close inspection as i was leaving just as the *** man was arriving, 4 months later i went to install this on my project Jeep and found shipping damage from months ago, i contacted JS alternators to see if they would fix it for me and they insisted on paying shipping both ways and covered all repairs even though i offered to pay for the repairs as it happened months ago at NO fault of theirs and i should have inspected it. customer service like this needs to be recognized. they have All my future business. ****** *

Ordered a 370 Amp alternator for my ********* Saturday 8/11/24, and received a confirmation email in minutes. So first business day the order could have been processed was 8/13/24. I received the alternator 8/21/24 just 6 business days later. There was an issue, where the alternator was shipped with the wrong pully, I contacted the shop next business day and a new pully was shipped out, I received it 3 days later. I already had upgraded battery cables, connections, charge wire Ect..as I was already running a J2 Fab 370 amp alternator so the installation was just minutes. Let the alternator run in a few minutes, monitoring voltage and amperage at the charge wire, which was a rock solid 14.8 VDC *85 amps, took some temp readings as it did, kept cool as it charged batteries and ran the *********. After 30 min, amp draw was down to 34 amps. Hooked up a carbon pile load cell, and started adding load. The alternator at idle exceeded the hot amp rating of 190 amps measuring 198 max amps. Brought RPM up to 2500, and measured again, still 14.8 VDC and it produced a max of 393 amps max.... 23 more amps than it is rated for hot. This vehicle is used 5 days a week to jump start light duty diesel vehicles *******, Powerstroke mostly. I had the alt cranking out max amperage at idle for as long as 45 min, no issues. Very happy with the product It can be tough getting someone on the phone... I made a dozen calls and no one picked up BUT leaving a message and I was called back same day or next. They also have a message widget on their website, that worked for me as well, but took about 2 days to hear back using that method. While Id prefer faster communication, Id rather wait and get real information accurate to my question, than a person hired to answer the phone who can barely spell alternator and has no technical information not written on a fact sheet

***Update*** This company has since deleted all my reviews on their ******** page and the other sites where they have access to do so. Mine died a month out of warranty. Its too much of a hastle to put a regular one back in and then have to take it out if and when I can get a new HO one. Cars only got 36k miles on it. 1998 ***** ***** ***

Great product with awesome customer service. Was having an issue with not charging they asked for pictures. When they got pictures they asked for alternator back and installed a different regulator to fix problem. I cannot thank them enough

I ordered a alternator for my older **** truck no problem they took my money immediately, several days later I get a email that my order was refunded. I contacted the company and they said they don't make a alternator for thst truck,why did they take my Money? Anyway a week later they still haven't returned my money. I would be very cautious buying from this company.

i ordered an alternator from here for one of my cars it came faster then expected being i ordered it right before the 4th of july quality was top notch looks great other then a little powder coat in the threads not a big deal at all it was perfect and will buy for other cars of mine as well now oh also the price with the big 3 upgrade and a 250 amp was the same as the auto zone 100 amp factory alternator and everything is american made these guys are great highly recommended

I purchased a 320 amp alternator from this company. The shipping was EXTREMELY FAST!! Regardless of other reviews left. I followed the instructions Exactly how they said "through a series of well detailed emails" Customer service is extremely fast in responding and very courteous. Pretty good, I don't have much experience with different alternators but from what I can tell they are good. I have a pretty obscure model car that doesn't have much room for modification. JS is one of two companies that sells HO alternators for my car. Shipping only took one day, which I was pleasantly surprised by. When I went to install it, it was missing two pieces, which I believe they fixed because the pieces now appear in the picture on their website. It wasn't too much of an issue, it just took some effort to remove said pieces from my old alternator. It works much better for my audio purposes, and they responded quickly when I had concerns about my battery light (although I missed their response and didn't see it for a few days). It has however given way to new issues. I believe they were existing issues so while the new alternator made them worse, it also helped me notice them. My audio now works much better and doesn't dim the lights, though my power windows now do, and turning on the A/C causes belt noise. Of course, most of my issues could be due to user error as I installed it myself and had the plug incorrectly wired for a couple of days before realizing when it caused my battery to die. Overall, I'd say the alternator has been a good upgrade for me, though it was quite a hassle.
