We participated in a timeshare presentation. It was very informative and friendly. We did not purchase and there wasnt extreme pressure to do so although they showed us many options. We were there for 65minutes and they were good to get us out on time.Review from Pam W

The allure of a discounted stay at Palmera Inn and Suites on ******************, SC, swiftly led us into the intricate web of timeshare salesmanship. Initially enticed by a seemingly unbeatable deal and promises of a lavish dinner cruise, we cautiously attended the sales presentation, armed with our reservations about our existing timeshare woes with Hilton Grand Vacations. At the presentation, the salesman adeptly navigated our skepticism, assuring us that the Palmera Vacation Club was the solution to all our vacationing woes. He painted a picture of endless availability and international adventures, enticing us with visions of ************ and *****. Tempted further by promises of selling our Hilton timeshare to cover the new purchase, we succumbed to their assurances of an easy exit strategy if needed. However, as time passed and our existing timeshare remained unsold, we began to unravel the tangled web of deceit spun by the Palmera Vacation Club. Despite our faithful payments and unwavering trust, we found ourselves ensnared in yet another timeshare burden, realizing too late the hollow promises and deceptive tactics that had led us astray. In hindsight, our journey with Palmera serves as a warning, a reminder of the too-good-to-be-true deals in the world of timeshares.Review from James (Cris) N

Our salesperson was helpful and considerate of our situation, not pushing us to buy in our current situation.Review from Dawn W

We were impressed with the presentation. They told us that they could sell our timeshare at Spinnaker at ********* and our out of pocket fees would almost be a wash. The property that they showed us was beautiful and we were sold. We ended up signing the contract. That evening, I read all the reviews and it was not goodwe immediately thought that we made a mistake. If we read all the reviews prior to signing the contract, we would have never signed. First of all there is no guarantee that they would sell our current timeshare and we didnt want to be stuck with paying for two maintenance fees. In the contract it states you have five days to cancel. And thats exactly what we did the very next day. They tried to get us to reconsider, but we said no, we made our decision to cancel. They gave me paperwork to sign to cancel out of the contract. I still received my $200 gift for coming to the presentation and my credit card was refunded in three days. I must admit that we did not feel pressured and they were still nice even though we changed our mind. If you are considering purchasing this club just do your research and know what your signing.Review from Kelly K

BEWARE Of ********, a manager. Signed up for 90 minute presentation and she was so pleasant to start and then she realized we had no interest, she became rude when it was time to check out. each participant was escorted to the checkout office but us. ******** gave us a piece of paper with a room number on it and told us it was not far from where we checked to the office!! We went To the office number she wrote out only to be sat for a travel club presentation that we did not sign up for! She is shady for sure!Review from Walter C

This organization is Bad News...how they stay in business is beyond me. They gain your trust.through lying and making promises that are not kept to get you to sign. My entire purchase was based on the sale of an excising Timeshare, which the salesman placed a value at sale 20K the salesman's pitch was, according to the Palmera history on Timeshare sales, he estimated 2 to 5 month period that a offer would be presented. Well...it's been over 1 year to-date. This was a total lye. After some investigation, I found that my Timeshare was nowhere near the suggested 20K but under 10K. Needless to say, this misleading sales method should be unlawful. In turn, this sales method cost me several thousand dollars. When brought to management attention, they replied well, you signed the contract making me liable regardless if a *** was told, a court of law would side with them, because of my stupidity for trusting this sales person's direction. I'm reside in the ***************** where such sales methods are prohibited.Review from Jessica W

HELP! We used to vacation once a year on HHI and did this for years because my husband was in a Wheelchair Tennis Tourney. So, we went for the familiar time share presentation spill... we actually thought it made a lot of sense. The sales people were nice and kind, super friendly. We bought a time share that had been sold and "bought back" (which was a LIE because they don't buy them back) for 10k. We figured we would be spending that on vacays anyway by the time we added up all the vacay stays. We had to wait and book a year in advance and when we got to the resort in *********, ** for our anniversary the beach had 9 steps to get there and they gave us a second floor room with a building that had no elevator... My husband has a spinal cord injury and is in a wheelchair. He was in a wheelchair when we bought the timeshare. The time share is NEVER available and again, not ADA ********** not updated, ***** **** and NEVER AVAILABLE! Did I say that?!? This is a complete and total scam and the "manager" that sold us the time share, who gave us his card, is not to be found! EVER! It's one thing to take advantage of people, but to lie to us, scam us and then take advantage of my husband's disability...seems quite horrible!Review from Michael C

Never had a problem, all the places i stayed were up to standards and mostly above. The resorts were beautiful, staff very friendly and accommodating. Suggest you purchase at least 6000 pts. you need that much to do anything, other than that I've been more than happy. Heading down to Port of Call in July. 4 rounds of golf 4 people was included with my timeshare purchase. Went down Christmas week and loved the resort.Review from Annie G

Man I wished I wouldve read this before I got suckered into the scam. Every word is true thats written and I consider myself an intelligent woman. ************************* is a two faced liar and so is his partner *****************************. The telephone numbers are a scam. They never return a call, you never get to talk to them and every word from their lips is a lie. I hope they burn eternally.
